Obi-Wan Kenobi x Fem Reader Modern Coffee Shop AU

Summary: A short series of phone calls leads reader to spend an evening out with Obi-Wan, where we learn more about his profession.

Warnings/content: Language, a short depiction of a therapy appointment (Obi-Wan and a young boy) but nothing heavy is discussed, an allusion to the risks of walking late at night while reader is with Obi-Wan, and a ton of Ewan references

End of the World

It's no secret that Iceman travels a lot, it takes its toll on both of you really. So when he is home, he spends every second of time he can with you, because he never knows when or for how long he will shipped out again for.

You two are laying in bed on a lazy Sunday morning. The breeze making the curtains flutter and the sunlight making it all look like a dream.

When Tom makes a move to get up, you're a bit confused. He offers his hand to you, with a boyish grin.

"where are we going?" you ask him, as he pulls you up close.

"honey with you, I'd go to the end of the world" You can't help but laugh, shaking your head at the pilot. If his team could see him being this soft and cheesy with you there would be no way they'd refer to him as iceman anymore.

At some point you check the mail, seeing a letter that looks very official for Tom. You swallow hard because you know by now that this means he will be leaving again. You don't expect his next words.

"honey come with me." You are taken by surprise at that, you and Tom weren't married, so you'd never gone with him anywhere.

"I-what" and he laughs at your surprised face.

"I'm tired of being away from home, and home is wherever you are, so come with me" and who could say no to that, especially to a man that you'd go to the ends of the world for.
