star sanses
reblog if you agree 🔁
I was trying to draw something entirely different, but here goes- a small vent about [Shame]. It must be a feeling, to be one of the most hated Sanses in Undertale. Underlust was never a great AU, but that's not Sans's fault, is it?
pretty boys...
New AU showed up, so of course Ink has to tell Dream all about it. Chatterbox plus Listener is such an A+ dynamic.
PART TWO OF ME DUMPING MY OLD OCs HERE
on the first line we have Strive and Moror! Moror is a sacrifice, Strive is a Fresh parasite, you know the deal. While Strive did take Moror as a host, Moror didn't shut up about it and somehow managed to charm Fresh's socks off with his natural wit and sweet nature. Moror fell hard, Fresh fell harder. When Moror's soul eventually broke, Fresh swore to strive to be better (or smth), changing names and even dropping part of his mask to be sweeter to the regular people.
Next one is Snipes. Basically the monsters from Underlust get to the surface, immediately get drafted into a human war (they can't get them to wear normal clothes)
Third line is Jack, the beautiful little skeleton. He has a clock instead of a soul, and one rule to obey at all times: never fall in love (or his clock stops and he dies). He's a sweetheart. Will faint if you smile at him too much. I love this guy.
THEN GREELING ON THE LEFT, AND CIPHER ON THE RIGHT. Greeling is Greed + Ling from Fullmetal alchemist + Rouxls Kaard. Cipher is Bill Cipher + Chara + a green soul.
Next are Styxis and Reseda. I'll be honest, idk what they were about
aaaand last but not least, Virus Chara. A big zombie-ish apocalypse is happening in the human world. A father falls in the underground with a five-year-old, which was born from an infected mother. He dies when Toriel finds the two, effectively contaminating her. Chara, the child, is a carrier of the disease that doesn't suffer its effects. They're given a hazmat suit to waddle around in as they discover their own magic, meanwhile the Underground falls into despair and disarray when the infection spreads. Soon, Chara is left all alone to scavenge and try to survive (it doesn't go well.)
it's me. I found it and now I'm obsessed. It's so *pretty* GOOD GOLLY.
someone finally found my utmv rp blog
I'll!!! definitely attempt this one and fail. wish me luck
The Inktobertale/Inktale challenge originates from the mix of Inktale and October.
The challenge consists of drawing a prompt with Ink!Sans either every day during the month of October, or during the highlighted days for a more condensed "weekly" challenge.
Any medium is welcome for this challenge, including writing.
This theme was created and voted as an Ink!Sans challenge, since there are a lot of other Undertale monthly challenges. The Inktale challenge/Inktobertale focuses solely on the character of Ink!Sans. You are free to make Ink!Sans interact with other characters.
You are free to skip, swap, or alternate days as you like. You can also do it digitally. Feel free to swap between different challenges! The point is to have fun and experiment this month, so make this challenge a fun experience! The use of AI is strictly prohibited.
The new addition from 2022’s Inktobertale is an alternative "weekly" challenge! The second list is a suggestion for people who would like to try a different pace, with roughly one drawing every few days. You're totally free to swap with other prompts if some speak to you better for this list as well.
Tag your artwork as #inktobertale2024!
I would gladly hug dissolve!dream
Just look at him isn't he so cute..
What is his story???
cute? CUTE????
so unfortunately most of my OCs currently are evil villains. Think Dream, but have him bite both apples, forcefeed a golden apple to Nightmare, and then promptly decide that free will could never bring true, utter happiness.
he's a villain, through and through. He's the figure in the dark when you're calling "who's there".
The one you should hug is him;
His name is Disillusion. He's been a prisoner of his brother for a few centuries at this point. He desperately needs your help...
holy shit that's an amazing take.
also I love the textures in your art.
Hm, technically not TAU related but I'm just kinda curious. Where did the uh eye thing (my mind is blanking on the word rn) is indicative of gender thing come from? I just think the idea is neat is all.
partly from my ass, partly from fandom tropes, partly from canon!
unfortunately i can't really provide examples of fanon because it's been a while since i've seen this floating around, but i know there at least USED to be a pretty big trope towards genderbending all the skeleton AU characters (or even just making original skeleton OCs that were female). the biggest way people chose to portray these characters was usually presentation - their bodies would be exactly the same as the OG sanses, just with maybe ecto and/or eye makeup.
all i did was take that further, because in my mind, it made sense!
the majority of canonically female monsters in the game are flat as washing boards, not a single titty in sight - maybe except the slightest of pec-bumps if you really squint - with only 2 notable exceptions that i could find, that being catty and the snowdin shopkeeper:
in fact, if you want to be pedantic...
king fluffybuns has more titty than his fucking wife xD
to me, the presence of boobage on catty, the snowdin shopkeeper and asgore proves that toby and temmie WERE VERY CAPABLE of drawing tits if they wanted to - which means that the lack of tits on the other characters was not an error, it was simply a design choice.
additionally, i believe that it's mostly just anthropomorphic monsters that are revealed to be women in the first place - "lesser" monsters all have completely identical sprites and, if memory serves, most of them are only ever really referred to as "it" or "they". (admittedly, i don't have the patience to go through every profile in the wiki to make sure, so take that with a little salt.) and while that could be just unreliable narration, i'm not here to beat the meta horse to death; i'm taking the information that i see at face value and running with it. and the information that i see is that there isn't a huge amount of sexual dimorphism in the vast majority of monsters, especially when you count non-anthropomorphic ones, which - again, focusing on what we actually see in-game - far outnumber their humanoid counterparts.
instead, you mainly tell what gender the characters are by the way they dress and their eyes - which usually have longer lashes, even if they're not wearing makeup like the shopkeep is. if nothing else, you might be forced to tell by their name or just by the game's narration. so in that case, we - or i, at least - know that most monsters in the underground go by "they" or "it", and not only is strongly gendered presentation already pretty fucking rare, when you get it, it's mostly in people just... dressing the way they want to be called. that's it.
to me, that fits in perfectly with the trope of female skeletons just having makeup or some ecto. they're telling people that they're female because that's how they want to be called; if they didn't put that effort in, other monsters would probably default to "it". like so:
and then when you introduce AU tomfoolery, of course, you can also get situations like this, where more nuance needs to be considered:
Pathetic beautiful old man wet cat baby boy
sorry had to draw him being sad and pathetic
umm i need reassurance that my presence is wanted but i can’t ask for reassurance because that’s really Embarrassing and it wouldn’t feel genuine if i asked for it
I would...I'm hyped...I've been on an art roll ngl
[ * I kinda wanna do an art collab..... for funsies.... ]
