The A Side is Kidd's story, from age 14-19 as he deals with growing up isolated, trying to be the first of his friends to finish high school, and with the aftermath of a horrific accident that threatens to trap him in those mountains forever.

i've become obsessed with this silly little truck in a silly little AU that no one read XD
practice sketches because i never learned to draw vehicles, and damnit it... i'm going to draw these dumbasses in this truck if it kills me. the images are too strong in my head - i must get them out
1970's Datsun 620 - aka 4 hooker lil'Hustler - and i will never not giggle over the fact that is a real ass truck and i am so sad i never got a chance to see one in real life.
Okay, just a little more assembly and the main body is done. Bottom lace and all the lining in place, just need to sew seams together so it lays flat, and finish attaching the sleeves. Oh. And sew in the magnets so i can wear it like a cape when i want...
Gonna need a lot more lace before i can get much further on the bottom layers in the back so thats where we're at for the time being.
so... i've had this pattern for at least 10 years (probably 15 judging by the fact i had bought two over the years - both the same size.... a size that i haven't been since high school) just never knew what to use it for.
i stopped making cosplay at least two jobs back. thought that i was probably done. on a whim, i did drag one of my old cosplays out of storage for an anime con last fall because it was cold and i loved that coat.... said coat barely still fits.
so for the last few months ive been mourning that my awesome coat needs to be retired and i don't have anything to replace it.
none of my favs have any cool coats i want make.
however... there are some peeps in my show that do have coats. not my top fav character but quickly climbing the ranks..... and eyah, it's just a basic coat... but...
i decided to toss canon aside and im gonna use this delightful pattern for it anyway. the alterations to get that pattern sized up to me has been... a learning curve, to say the least.
.... now i just need to find somewhere that sells red costume fur. the only place near me only has green and pink (and white.... i might have to try some dying......)

Each model took a few hours but they were so much fun. P.Tang was easier to piece together but did require just a little bit of glue while V.Punk fit so tightly it was difficult with some of the smaller pieces to assemble but stayed togther on her own.

Corazon is standing at the front of their tiny ship, staring out at the storm with a look of worry. He was just as Law remembered him, large and imposing as equal as soft and kind.
It was a nice dream to die in, Law supposed.
This loosely takes place after Blackbeard attacks the Polar Tang, but takes a sharp turn into AU after that. After being ambushed by Blackbeard, Law dreams of being 13 again, drifting on the sea in the last days he had with Corazon. But they end up on an island he's never seen before, lives tangling with people he's not sure he's ever met. Or maybe he has. In the end, Law's no longer so sure he's dreaming.

I also have about 25k of fanfic of these losers(affectionate) typed and 50 pages of untyped fic in my notebook from this month. I wasn't joking when i said the creativity dam burst recently. There's also more doodles in that notebook too.
Ive been writting almost nonstop for almost a month now. Today i went out and bought a sketch book and started to draw. This year ive been sewing again too. I picked cross-stitching back up. I started to finish those books that have been on my workstation since 2020.
I have no idea what happen but... i feel creative again? Like... i stopped writing in 2020. I stopped drawing... like a decade ago. Like its all shit and all. But... i dunno.
Its weird. That feeling of wanting to create again. I missed this. I hadn't realised.

What people think why i became a bookbinder: Oh she wants to explore her artistic horizon with those pretty leather bound books of hers. She even gives them out as gifts to her friends. It most likely helps her with anxiety or maybe she just wanted a more special costume made notebook.
Why I actually became a bookbinder: I just downloaded and printed out several of my favourite fanfics and books and started binding them into books cuz I love reading them but looking at screens for too long gives me headaches.

Raphael had been the third angel ever created, and he’d raised himself first with Michael’s clumsy help. Then he’d turned around and raised three more siblings, and loved them all so fiercely it hurt. He'd loved Aziraphale too, more than either of them really knew.
And then, he fell. He lost everything. The bond he held with his siblings was ripped away, leaving an aching, empty void. And while he still has Aziraphale, the angel doesn't recognize the archangel who taught him how to care about the Earth. And Crowley refuses to tell him who he was, or how Aziraphale's voice is the one thing that can soothe the ache in his soul that wants, so badly, to feel a connection again.
A story through the ages as an angel and a demon come to terms with their shared past.
