Sometimes Remus has a hard time falling asleep because he’s too busy watching Sirius, the slow rise and fall of his chest, long lashes fluttering against his cheeks, the moonlight caressing his alabaster skin. In the fleeting moments of midnight, Sirius wakes suddenly, and Remus holds him tight, thinking he’s had a bad dream, prepared to kiss the nightmares away. Instead, Sirius blinks slowly, fingers tracing the lines of Remus’ jaw, a strange look on his face. You’re my best friend. His eyes close moments later, sighing as he nestles his nose against Remus’ neck, lulled to sleep by the steady rhythm of Remus’ heartbeat. It’s in those silent moments laying in the dark that Remus knows he’s in love. Truly, deeply, irrevocably in love.

sticks little notes into his books

and they’re filled with wonderful, witty metaphors explaining his thinking and also fabulous insights, not just about the stories themselves, but also the nature of reading and writing

black tea fanatic

has a “secret” diary and writes every moment he has with sirius in it bc he wants to remember all of it. first date, first surprise, first trip together, first anniversary etc. he writes down all of it and doesn’t miss any parts

the quietest marauder, but he’s also the one with the quickest, wittiest remarks and comebacks

muggle books. so many of them. in drawers, underneath his bed. he loves the way muggles describe everything with so much beauty and depth

favorite holiday is christmas and he’s the best at giving gifts bc really listens and takes into consideration what would make the ones he loves smile

issues with anxiety and depression
