And you are correct! It's not the whole family, it's just the Mad Scientist brother. Ghost maintains he is "too old for this" about nearly everything. It's a frequent refrain in class when he has to figure out some new tech or interpret any slang. Love on the other hand seems bursting with youth, she's on top of all the latest trends, she's bubbly and cheerful, she's Ghost's opposite in a lot of ways. It's shocking to see her trailing after Ghost and asking philosophy questions, "so when Kant said..." or "do you think if Neichze knew how people would interpret his work..." just chattering away while Ghost gives one word answers and makes a sharp turn into a men's room to escape her. She waits outside the bathroom for a few minutes, chatting with a student while she waits, wonders aloud when Ghost will be done only to be told that he left a few minutes ago. (She is shocked and offended)

Ghost cannot be around that woman when she's talking about his interests. She's too genuine with it, too interested, it's worse than her flirting. They're a sight walking around, Ghost the quintessential professor with his jumper and reading glasses, Love in her pink coat and heels, scrolling her phone to read the notes she took on the book Ghost lent her. Ghost doesn't know how anyone gets any work done around her in that skirt, he doesn't get any work done and he's just thinking about it. Somehow she keeps finding him, no one finds him if he doesn't want them to, but somehow, somehow, Love keeps bumping into him.

He's been musing a lot on the philosophy of fate recently. Love has memorized his schedule and deduced that Ghost is too autistic to heavily deviate from it. They are both hopelessly in love.
