Reading finally The Apprentice's Quest made me absolutely flabbergasted. The way that 2016's wc fandom portrayed Alderpaw/heart is so much different that they way he really was in that book and later ones. Bro hates his own sister, hates kittypets even tho he's grandpa is Firestar, his anxiety is written so badly that I don't even understand why people enjoyed his character back then at all.
