I haven’t seen anybody talk about this yet, so I’m going to. What in the world is Crowley doing when he’s carrying around a stack of books, gets distracted and literally throws said stack of books to the other side of the bookshop? Like is he reorganizing them to how they were or…
What I liked best about Jinx and Sevika's first post-Silco talk was how well it implies why their grief is so pronounced. Every complaint the two lodged at Silco was an admission at how dependent Silco had become on them, how much he LET himself be dependent. Silco didn't NEED to let Jinx give him his eye medicine, he was perfectly capable of doing so in season one's first act. The same could be said about Sevika, because while it wasn't nearly as extreme as with Jinx, he didn't need to give her so much responsibility. Frankly it's dangerous for a kingpin to give their righthand so much power (it's supposed to be spread around), and everyone noticed, even idiots like Finn.
That's why their loss is so pronounced, in all the years they dedicated to Silco, he gave up just as much of himself to them. Silco weakened himself and trusted Sevika and Jinx to make up for it. They filled eachother out, they needed eachother, and without him there's just a hole what they all used to give eachother.
I can’t stop thinking about this. What if Satine lived? Like, would Obi wan have stayed with her? Would Anakin have left the order too if Obi Wan did? What would happen to Maul? Would Anakin still go to the dark side? If Padme still died and Anakin still became Darth Vader, would that mean Obi Wan and Satine would have taken care of Luke? What would happen to Ashoka?
I’ve gone down a rabbit hole I don’t think I’m getting out of any time soon.
This is a really interesting answer, I didn’t think about it like that. Now that you mentioned it, it makes a ton of sense. I mean like, Nathaniel even admitted that he did his research about Nickolas’ family to the point where he knew where Number Two’s parents’ house is, a place where she hates to go back too. He knows about Milligan because of the Brainsweeper thing, I don’t know if he knows Rhonda though.
I just saw something from bi-demon-ium about if Nickolas was the only one kidnapped and now I’m wondering why Nathaniel took Number Two as well. Like, for intimidation purposes or to make sure Nickolas couldn’t do anything, like why? Or was she just there at the wrong time?
It is complete.
@convolutedblasphemy thanks for making the lyrics. It made me laugh, so I had to draw out what I envisioned in my head.

These last two episodes have been amazing! One thing I’d like to point out are Alastor’s actions throughout the fifth episode. First, he makes himself look like a good guy/father even though we haven’t really seen any build up to a father-daughter relationship with him and Charlie which makes me think he’s doing it mostly to anger Lucifer (or maybe it has something to do with Lilith? I know that’s a theory going around and I like it a lot.) or he actually does kind of care and just wanted to cause chaos. Then we see him threaten Husk. We’ve seen him go demonic before, but what he did with the lights and his form was genuinely terrifying. Another thing during that scene that made me pause was the fact that Husk actually had to courage to talk to Alastor like that in the first place. It’s still a horrible relationship, but I still don’t think it’s the kind of relationship Angel has with Valentino other than obvious reasons of Alastor not being into that. It shows that Alastor’s reaction might not have been normal and was unexpected. Also, I’ve seen people talk about the chain difference which I thought was really interesting. Then towards the end, with Mimzy. Do you think it’s because of Lilith that he’s protecting the hotel? That’s a “friend” he's had since he was alive and it’s implied he’s protected her before. She was shocked when he asked her to leave. I NEED TO KNOW WHY ALASTOR IS THERE!! Hopefully in the next two episodes. Do you think the reason why he asked Mimzy to go is because Lilith or someone else saw that she could be a threat and made him ask her to go? Or was that all him and he’s starting to actually care? He’s such an unpredictable character and this entire season we’ve been chasing after any evidence on what he might be doing. Same thing with Lilith, as her face was blurred out in the episode. And what about Eve? What happened to her? Maybe it’s not Lilith but Eve that has Alastor’s leash?
Hey!!! I want to write more on The Mysterious Benedict Society and I have a few ideas of my own, but if any of you have any more that’d be great!
