It’s a little more clear in this drawing, but it’s something I use for storyboarding. The stuff in the foreground is darker and it gets lighter the further you go back to simulate depth. It works the same when you actually use color, as well, but I do greyscale for a lot of my sketches and it helps set everything apart more clearly, for me.
My brain came up with this, and probably I'm gonna make this a better drawing when I have more time, but I REALLY HAD TO MAKE THIS IM SORRY-- 🤣🤣🤣
