“You listen here Tomlinson.” The head in command gripped onto my collar, hoisting me up. “You are going to get rid of that girl with no remorse. I don’t care what you have to do, just get rid of her.”

I thought this would be easy. Catch you lollygagging with a couple or friends, then when you wander off I would get you. Once I set my eyes on you I knew this wouldn’t be easy. I tried talking to you, but you had walls. I couldn’t let this mission slip out of my hands or I would be the one missing.

This is bad., horrible,  in fact. “Shes just a girl Tomlinson… focus.” My pep talk got rid of my nerves for our date, the fifth one in fact.  She was not just a mission to me any more, she is more than that. I cant show up to that date… I have to go. And I left. just like that. I was not going through with this mission.

My eyes widened at the voice. I felt her hand on my shoulder and I glanced. Her manicured nails shone with the glare of the sunlight preventing me from seeing her eyes.

“Well? Are you going to speak? Care to explain?”

I didn’t dare reply.

“Why did you leave without saying goodbye?”

“I had my reasons.”

Her eyes welled up, tears making way to surface.

“You had to kill me?”

“Were you going to do it? On that date? were you? I trusted you!”

“Listen to me.” I sighed. I never was going to hurt her. I love her. She stayed quiet. ” I wasn’t going to complete the mission. I would never hurt you. That’s why I left.”

She engulfed me in a hug which I gladly returned. I felt her tears fall onto my neck and shoulder.

“Louis… don’t, please. Don’t kill any more people..”

“I wont.”
