those “bri’ish” jokes really aren’t funny.
i can’t be bothered to type a full set of paragraphs detailing how poor my mental health is, so i’ll keep it short and simple.
i didn’t choose to be born into this country, i didn’t choose to be born the way i did, and being mocked and grouped in with those kinds of people has absolutely done a number to my mental health which has been poor since childhood. it’s affected me so badly so that last year it pushed me to the point of attempting suicide multiple times. i’ve been consistently suicidal and have attempted it a few times over the last few years, but after seeing those kinds of “jokes” my mental state has deteriorated incredibly. it probably seems quite selfish for me to whine about myself and my problems but there’s probably a lot of people out there who are experiencing a similar situation to me with this. we’re all people, we’re all human. and all i ask is for people to maybe stop and consider before mocking people for something that can’t be changed.
