Thank You For Asking.

Thank you for asking.

I’m not allergic to anything, but I do have some sensory preferences.

I usually avoid strong cheeses, anything with an overly soft or slippery texture like oysters or foie gras and very gamey meats. I tend to prefer simple proteins and vegetables prepared cleanly. No need to go out of your way. Just something light is fine.

Beth’s more adventurous than I am when it comes to food. She likes trying new things. I think she’d be excited about whatever you make.

I took the job offer in Baltimore.

I will be working as a guide at the Davis Planetarium. I’m very happy it worked out. The planetarium has such a rich archive and so many exhibits in rotation! I’ll have a lot to learn and organize, and even more to share. I am already experiencing a lot of excitement about that.

That means Beth and I will be moving to Maryland soon, leaving New York behind. I will miss New York. But I’m looking forward to seeing some people in Baltimore. And it’ll make getting to Dr. Lecter’s appointments easier, once he returns from his retreat.

I didn’t ask her because I got nervous about it. I am not good at this stuff.

But she suggested going to the museum together. I think that would be a good idea—to do something she’s interested in.

Although I would much rather go to the planetarium.

I thought of taking Beth to the planetarium sometime, but I’m not sure if she’d like it

Good morning, Adam. How are you? : )

-Duncan.

Hello Duncan, please excuse my late response.

I have been feeling stressed out for a while now and I have lots of doubts.

How are you? It seems like you are in a relationship now, am I interpreting that correctly?.

I would really prefer if everyone spoke to me directly, instead of over or for me.

I am a functioning adult, and I don’t need to be spoken for. I understand the concern on both sides, but the aggression from either side is unnecessary and, frankly, overwhelming.

I don’t take sides in this, and I don’t appreciate being used like this, as if my life doesn’t already come with its own stresses. I just want to be completely removed from this conflict and, honestly, I’d prefer it if it stays that way going forward.

@1nvictus @deerrdarling @coke-n-dope

Adam, don’t trust Nigel, he’s a bastard. He called me a fucking liability

-Tonny aka @coke-n-dope

I feel as though I’ve been inadvertently dragged into a personal conflict.

Good to hear from you though, Tonny

What's your favourite instrument for observing space? (I mean as in out of all created ones, not just telescopes. Cause there's some pretty developed ones nowadays)

You’re right there are many advanced instruments for observing space, each designed for different purposes. The James Webb Space Telescope is one of the most impressive—it observes infrared light, allowing us to see distant galaxies and exoplanets in ways we never could before. But if I had to pick a favorite, I think the Voyager probes are remarkable. They carry the Golden Record, which is an attempt to communicate with any potential extraterrestrial life, and they are the farthest human-made objects from Earth. The idea that they might one day be found is… fascinating

I don’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t that.

I feel like I walked into an entire play where everyone else had the script but me. And now the show’s over, the audience has left, and I’m just standing here, still trying to understand the plot.

Intuition is mostly irrational, but if I were to believe in that sort of thing, I would describe having a strange feeling about tonight.

They are.

I see a few bright ones despite the clouds. It’s interesting how the branches make the sky feel more distant, I think it feels like looking through a telescope with an obstructed view.

Did you recognize any constellations? If not, I can try to help identify them

Cool squirrel!

Glad to hear you're settling in Baltimore alright. What does Beth do for a living, if you don't mind me asking?

- 🧷

// ooc: I just watched Adam the movie the other day and I have so many feelings about it. Once again I applaud you on your amazingly canon-aligned depiction!!! Also p.s. my inbox at @safetypin-non is always open ^_^

Isn’t he just?

At first, I suspected he might have rabies because he was unusually receptive for a wild animal. But then I realized he was probably already used to being around people. I wished I had something to feed him, but unfortunately, I only had pastries with me which you should never give to squirrels or ducks, for that matter. A lot of people make the mistake of feeding bread to ducks, even though it can ultimately be harmful—even deadly—for them. If you really want to give them a treat, you should offer peas instead.

And Beth is a teacher.

///thank u sm sweetheart! means a lot considering I’ve never done anything quite like this before. definitely let me know what you thought of the movie :)

Are you a jealous person?

Jealousy is irrational. It serves no practical function, and yet, I think if I care about someone enough, I might experience a version of it.

Not in an aggressive way, but… I wouldn’t like the idea of being replaceable. I‘ve been told I get ‘sulky‘.

Adam, have you ever seen Cosmos with Carl Sagan? I've always wanted to watch the original but I've only seen the reboot with Neil DeGrasse Tyson.

- 🧷 (safetypin-non)

Yes, I watched it many times. More than I can count. It’s my favorite show.

You should watch it, I can only recommend it.

Hubble Deep Field: 10,000 galaxies in one image. That is a lot.
