What should fall into the raptor pen next?

One of my favorite Naruto & Sasuke moments is when they were doing the tree climbing practice. They were training together for a while, but Naruto was also pushing himself and training hard all alone at night.

Sasuke also gets worried about him.

So when Naruto spends yet another night all alone, Sasuke “goes for a walk” the next day.

But he doesn't return all day and stays by Naruto’s side even when the night falls.

And makes sure he doesn’t spend another night all alone.

He takes care of him, reminds him to take breaks, tells him not to wear himself out and brings him home with him. It’s not “all alone” anymore. It’s “both of us”.

He was so engrossed in the repetitive game that he hadn’t realized the person sitting next to him on the bench was red-faced with a terrible case of the hiccups. in another life he might be the jerk who walked away like it wasn’t his business. but after everything he’d gone through today, sharing some of the uplifting music in his earphones didn’t seem like a bad idea.
