sometimes i like to sift through a bunch of really shitty samey cluttered Gacha Game Girl designs so i can see which ones actually have genuinely strong character design principles on them. Is their silhouette and shape language readable. Does their wardrobe and manner of dress speak about their occupation or role in the story. Is it not just a typical skinny gacha babe template and actually does something a little more wild. Do they stand out against other characters. Questions i love to ask myself while i trudge through the gacha slop

every gacha game is graded from a scale of “the Ultimate Aimless Slop Maidens” to “this is Actual Character Design” in my head. Genshin and Wuthering Waves are mostly on the far left, Limbus Company and Reverse 1999 are on the far right, Arknights is somewhere in the middle since there’s a mix of “this is genuinely practical memorable clothing” and “what the fuck are you wearing” here

i think i have a weird “reverse social anxiety” where im like pretty comfortable chatting and hanging with IRL flesh people most of the time but when it comes to online interaction and the idea of hitting it huge on social media i get very anxious and mind-racey, compared to other people who i THINK are more socially anxious IRK but more chatty online…??? Idk. But If i ever get a sudden “Wally Darling” type megafandom situation instantly surrounding me without buildup i’d just fucking shit myself and die.
