TOORU OIKAWA
Originally, the evening was filled with plans. You haven’t seen Tooru in person for quite some time since he had to practice abroad, yet you both managed to keep your relationship strong despite the distance. You both had a lot planned for the evening; buying groceries, coming home and watching a movie and just catching up with each other. As soon as Tooru decided to take a shower, all of the night’s plans went out the window.
Because as soon as he came out of the bathroom after having a shower, he found you sound asleep in bed, seeing as it was already so late. He was getting dressed, wearing a pair of grey joggers and a simple shirt when he heard you twisting and turning in bed. He walked over to check on you when he heard what sounded like your voice coming from the bed.
“Y/N? Is everything okay?”
“Tooru..” you chirp unconsciously. Oikawa can’t help but smile to himself at the sight. She’s probably dreaming, he thought.
The mere thought of you dreaming about him makes him smirk to himself, softly cupping your cheek. “You can’t resist me even in your sleep, babe!”
IWAIZUMI HAJIME Iwaizumi took out his keys to unlock his apartment door, cursing himself for coming home later than expected. He said he would be home a few hours ago, but he ended up staying to help train Japan’s national team for much longer than expected.
When he opened the door and saw your body curled up on the couch, fast asleep in your pajamas, Iwaizumi’s heart melted. It’s then he realizes that you must’ve been waiting for him. Shutting the door behind him, he carefully stepped over to you and knelt down. Gazing at the sleeping figure before him, he sighed.
“I’m sorry, baby.” he murmured, laying his head in front of you on the couch. He found it easier to apologize at your sleeping figure. “Coach wanted me to stay with the team longer than expected.”
When you shift in your position and mumble a soft “hajime,” the man grins softly, lifting you in his arms before placing you softly on your shared bed, pulling you closer into his embrace.
AKAASHI KEJI
It was easy falling asleep on Keiji. Together, you’d read books in silence as a date. You were laying your head on his lap and admiring him as you smiled to yourself at the way his brows furrowed as he grabbed his glasses from the side of the couch whenever the book got more interesting. In no time, your eyelids started to droop as you felt yourself drifting off to sleep.
Initially, he didn’t notice, completely engrossed in his book. This was until he glances at you and realizes that you’ve fallen asleep. He gently places the book down, soft enough so he doesn’t accidentally wake you up before removing strands of hair from your forehead, placing a soft kiss on the area before going back to reading his book. Then you’d start murmuring something, which he couldn’t quite make out. His name.
He smiles softly to himself, chuckling and shaking your head because- you’re asleep. Must be a nice dream, he thinks. He decides that it was better to keep what just happened to himself.
