hello everyone! remember i promised to post some Kratos lore a while back? well here it is! enjoy reading :-)

(i forgot to add that Kratos isn't a Sans, Papyrus, or Gaster. he's just a skeleton!)

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:

Kratos is still in development. some of his lore is not available to the public yet, because it is either unfinished or i want to portray it in another media with him. (ex: more story based lore snip-its, in forms of graphic novels, or short comics/animatics.)

with this in mind, i strongly request there be less or no fanon renditions of him! this includes headcanons. i want to be able to fully tell his story and lore, before that happens.

if you do wish to make fan-works of him, please strictly follow his canon. this goes for all of my characters, not just him!

one last note though; i may not post a lot of art for a little while. there is a lot of things happening in my life atm, and i need to try and focus on them more. /gen. but thank you all for sticking around with the support for Kratos, its a dream come true!

This little one-shot fic is a late Christmas/Three Kings Day gift I made, a lot of writers block later, and here we are!

Soul bound: A UTMV one-shot fic

How soft and quiet night could be, the streetlamps slightly illuminating through the curtains of a child's room. Stirring shadows dance across the walls as the tiny figure wanders the room, trying to catch the soft light. She wandered, eyes bright and holding a patched up cat plushie as she just admired the lights.

As she did, she felt her body grow slightly tired; yawning and deciding that the carpeted floor was a decent resting spot. Her eyes grew heavy before drifting off to sleep, her small body slowly being engulfed by the light and shadows before she was no more... the child had disappeared.

Somewhere else, a giant skeleton resided within his tiny home; sitting at his table drinking some tea and reading a book. He was content with the slow day currently. No mail or files needed to be sorted; just him and his records. That was the case before feeling a sudden soul wavelength and then hearing a slight thumping sound from outside hitting his mailbox. Pondering what the sounds could be, the skeleton stood up from his table and set his book down. He tilts his head before heading outside, peeking around his small garden before seeing damage upon his mailbox.

That was strange, he thought, as he wandered over there to check what the problem was before seeing a small lump against the post. The skeleton, confused on what the thing leaning against his mail post until he saw it move. He steps back a bit before the lump flops down and stretches on their stomach, a clearer look that it was a child he had discovered.

Looking around the void he resided in, the skeleton was pondering where and how she got there before going over once more and picking her up like a mother cat would pick up their kitten by the scruff. He gazed at the small child he was holding, taking in the noticeable features; warm dark skin with a few spots lighter than the rest were also kissed with several beauty marks and freckles, dark Hazelnut-brown eyes that had a hint of something eccentric and joyous, and bright, soft and fluffy blond hair that resembled a cloud.

An odd warmth was emitting from the young child in her pink and purple pajamas, an erratic small smile emerging as she held her stuffed companion. Compared to the size of the skeleton, she looked like a mere doll that any other child could play with. He shook his head at feeling a mini warmth on the tip of his finger, seeing her gently touching him. She had no fear at all, even with him being a monster; daring not to move, this only fueled the desire in this girl to know more.

She gently felt one boney finger after another, steadily engraving the feel in her mind as she shifted a bit to hold her patch-work cat in the other arm. Shaking his head, the skeleton was wrestling with himself internally before making the final decision to support her with his other hand; gently placing her on his palm and let go of her, now holding her with both. They both leered at one another before he flinches back a bit, seeing the curious child raising her hand up; wanting to touch his face.

He stared before slowly leaning down, allowing her to pat his cheekbone gently. The small girl giggles and smiles more at him, her eyes looking as they're growing more bright. The skeleton felt his soul grow a bit warm from hearing the sweet giggle. How could she be not afraid of him? How does someone so young have so much bravery?

The skeleton hummed and leisurely walked back into his home, placing the child on the table and watching her curious eyes wander around his abode. "So...what am I...going to do...with you?" The skeleton finally spoke, resting his chin on the palm of his hand. His voice was a bit slow, low and raspy sounding; but so soft and gentle too as to not spook her suddenly. "Where did you...come from...little one?" he says as he slightly tilts his head along with her slightly surprised expression.

"Pretty!" Comapred to the skeleton, her voice was boisterous and confident; full of thrill and charm. The skeleton felt his soul warm up once more, she's an oddity for sure, calling him pretty; yet he also felt something slightly different of this young girl. He watched her as she carefully picked up his teacup, admiring it before also trying to drink the herbal liquid inside.

The girl's face somewhat scrunched up from the slightly bitter taste, shaking her head and placing the cup down. The giant couldn't help but darken his face and cover his mouth, trying to stiffle a laugh back. She stared at him with wonder, feeling the modest warmth his soul was giving off; she found it comforting and lovely, her body relaxing and feeling sleepy.

The young girl yawned and rubbed her eyes, cuddling her plush and trying not to fall asleep. The giant skeleton noticed her slight energy depletion, gently picking her up and trying to craddle her. As he did, he had also decided to check her soul; staring at the tiny green heart, the energy was different from the majority of human souls. "Hmm...a little...unstable...I wonder." He placed his hand gently on her chest, humming and trying to concentrate.

The young girl was already fast asleep, still holding her cat as she shifted a bit in his arms; relaxing and placing her tiny hand on top of his. The sight was very adorable to him as he felt the steady flow of his magic fusing with her soul, just the smallest amount before pulling away. He gently pet her hair, letting the small one rest in his arms before he decides to place her in his bed; her tiny hand also holding onto his finger as she slept. "You should be...alright now...my name...is Kratos, little one."

WHAT TO KNOW FIRST-

✦ What is an AU? An AU (or alternative universe) is a spin-off of an official storyline/concept that explores the different possibilities of said concept by putting characters in a different setting, with different abilities, or in different social situations, etc. In this case, Undertale’s storylines and characters have AUs based on them. The entirety of the AUs is called the Multiverse.

INTRODUCTION-

✦ ReaperWhere!Sans is a “Reaper.” A Reaper can only be made by a Death God, or someone who has the ability and power of creation. Though it is much more common to see a “Reaper” be made by a Death God otherwise, it still can happen with a high rarity chance. A “Reaper” is a lower ranking God - More known as a Demi-God. - Although not a full God, Demi-Gods are still VERY powerful.

• These Death Gods are mainly all from ReaperTale. commonly know as Death!Sans and Death!Papyrus.

✦ ReaperWhere!Sans's “Job” is to find abandoned or non-efficient AUs (alternative universe) with people and Rid/Reap them off from Multivers.

DESIGN DESCRIPTION-

✦Standing at a Height of 6’1 / 6’2. (185 CM / 187 CM)

• He wears black bandage socks.

• Dark Muddy Brown baggy sweatpants with light beige lace hung down the front.

• No under shirt as he feel there's no need to have one, after all. he's got a skeleton more back at his place. (ba-da tsk)

• Purple robe with magenta stripes going down the sleeves to the elbow. Along a large fluffy hood in the back and fur on the cuffs of the hoodie too.

• Raven like wings with a wingspan of up to 6.8 ft. (209 CM)

• 2 gold necklaces, one a heart necklace that is to NEVER. be taken off by him or anyone else.

• A deep long vertical scar on his right eye.

✦Most of his bones have been cracked / damaged due to multiple fights and his soul.

MAGIC-

✦ His Scythe is his secondary weapon of choice. Not put to much use very often, it is a primary weapon to most Death Gods and Reapers but he willingly chooses not to use it. His main primary however is his Combat skills in jujus, or Martial arts in case of defense. He still has a set of bone attacks but they’re also a secondary as well.

✦ Regarding fights, ReaperWhere!Sans finds no real purpose in trying to limit the damage done by or of other out!codes who wish to disrupt AUs. (or alternative universe) This doesn't make his job any worse when in reality it makes it better and a bit more easy.

PERSONALITY-

✦ ReaperWhere!Sans is not often seen as a bad person even for what he does (Riding/Reaping Abandon or Un-efficient AUs) this being with the way he expresses himself and his actions make him seem like a “good person”. though he definitely finds enjoyment in what he does, it never put him in a complete position as a bad person which makes him a lot harder to be picked out of the crowd.

• He is very much a “Go with the flow” / “Whatever happens, happens.” kind of person on the outside. He will choose whatever he sees fit in is position and go with it. whether it be from siding with powerful evil or wonderful good, to save and help the multiverse or conquer it. he will take whatever side benefits. of course benefiting him. its his judgment for himself, not others.

• He love to mess with people when he gets the chance. either to scare them or a silly prank.

• ReaperWhere spends a lot of his normal time talking to birds, Reading / Writing, Wondering around the land or In Outertale star gazing.

• He is a very witty person and often times a smart ass for the fun of it. though he is actually a very clever person but is calm and easy going personality masks that trait as well.

• ReaperWhere is a really good singer.

• ReaperWhere has gained a mass advantage when it comes to in dark combat or in darkness. since he has been forced to be a Reaper an now adapted to the darkness of “The land of the Lost and Wary.” He has much clearer vision than most when in the dark but his eyes are very low resting from this.

• Before He was terrified of open spaces and the thought of being abandoned and “left to rot”. now he’s much more adjusted to it to though long periods of time in these places can cause him to have a break down / spiral over time. this leading to the reason he try’s to mask that fear along and not be in “The land of the Lost and Wary.” for long, with trying to stop people from going through the same thing he did.

• “The land of the Lost and Wary.” Definitely broke his mind from a (normal sans perspective).

• Many people have Good, Bad and Neutral views and thoughts on ReaperWhere. for reasons varying from his actions, motives or Ideals.

• He fidgets with his hands a lot while they are in his jacket pockets.

• He can be considered morally grey or Chaotic neutral.

✦ He comes off as a very egotistical person though he masks it very well.

✦ When was ReaperWhere made ?

• August of 2023 !

✦ How did you come up with the Idea of ReaperWhere ?

• I made him as a character for my own “Skela sona” but then people started saying crazy shit about him and I thought ‘I should probably not have him as my sona..’ since it weirded me out a lot. once I had that Idea I thought about making him into just a normal OC to have, since people already liked him might as well have used him. and then the concept of him being made into a Reaper an being this cool but ominous character was fun to me. Got some inspiration from other sans creators and boom! were here. an still going :)’

✦ Did you have any idea for his concept ?

• I didn’t have anything going into this other then ‘I want him to be purple and have black eyes’ then the rest I made up as I went to see what looked the best on him.

✦ What is “The land of the Lost and Wary” ?

• Its basically the space where Reaper!Sans / Death goes an takes soul that don’t go willingly. most sans’s get tired and give up but ReaperWhere didn’t. there for find himself in it.

• “The land of the Lost and Wary” is actually its real name nor does it have a name its just something Reaper!Sans likes to call it.

• It works off the Multiverse and like a other core part though not the main part. it can only be visited by Gods / Demi-Gods but most don’t visit it except for ReaperWhere since its the only place he has left to go.

The “Where” in his name IS part of his name. it isn’t part of the “!Sans” as that part is to clarify he is sans.

• ReaperWhere is not much of a person to fight first due to his own ego that you’d be wasting his time. he’d rather just move on and walk away, but if attacked first and to no stop he will attack back.

• He has the same normal sans abilities but since he is an AU then Turned into a “Reaper” those powers have gained MUCH stronger

• He is a much more close combat then far combat person and will wait to take a chance at getting a good strike on the person he’s attacking. with his smoke like magic that come from around him or off his hands it can slowly disintegrate who / whom it touches no matter what the object is. that be by his hand or the smoke touching the person.

• He wont go full out on a person since in most normal fights he’s the stronger opponent but he goes from using hand to hand combat to Gaster Blasters and bone attacks then using his Scythe.

✦ Whats his canon Gender ?

• He is a Male and uses He/Him pronouns ! (he supports don’t worry)

✦ Whats his birthday ?

• August 20 ! :)

✦ Does he have any other hobbies ?

• He hs pet Ravens ! he has a lot of them be he remember all their names.

• He doesn’t have a canon age though he has come to be around for many centuries. he’s around late 20s early 30s in normal human years.

Official introductions and facts on The Fate Brothers

So as I become more and more active with my presence here (I soon hope that I can do the same with my other platforms), I want to introduce more of my aus and original and fan ideas that I have. And what better way than introduce some of my (revamped) Undertale Multiverse ocs. If some of you remember, I made two mini posts of a vague intro to some of them, one explaining the feeling of deja vu and the other being some doodle concepts. As I step back into this fandom, I can't wait to see how these project ideas will grow more. And now I introduce to you all *drum roll*...The Fate Brothers!!

Pendulum, The Cardholder:

The eldest for The Fate brothers, first born from The Ancient Gods. (Roughly 800 years old), height is 5’2

Specializes with predictions, tarot cards, and illusions. (Also has the iconic bone powers and abilities as most Sanses do despite not being a Sans.) He uses his cards to help aid humans and monsters as cards of fate from moving on, to be giving luck, etc. 

(Jokingly as well) nicknamed “The Magician” by his brothers, Pendulum is able to create and temporarily solidify his illusions to use as pawns and players in his games, training, or when threatened in battle. This is not much limited to his tarot cards, but also the often thought traditional deck of cards.

Pendulum and his brother, Sastro, use their prediction abilities to help detect and locate potential magic leaks within the Multiverse. Using a Watcher's Eye, he is able to keep track of the worlds and other “guardians”, such as Ink, Error, Dream, and Nightmare, for example.

The bearer of Patience and known as The Cardholder, Pendulum is very open minded when it comes to one's own life; embracing changes and allowing others to grow and learn. Peppy, go-lucky, and a go with the flow attitude, Pendulum often forgets his half divine status of being an obscure divine forgotten as time goes by, relatively being the one most aloof, and head in the clouds. Although being a bearer of patience, he is fiercely protective of his family and domain; often being the one to place himself on the frontlines of any threats.

He enjoys playing games, savory foods, glass art, magic/illusion shows, and karaoke.

 Sastro, The Astrologist:

The second eldest of The Fate Brothers, second born of The Ancient Gods. (Roughly 800 years old), height is 5’11

Specializes with predictions as well but uses the stars instead, zodiacs, retrogrades, astral projections, herbology, and stones. (Taught by the Aura Goetia demon Prince of Astrology, Stolas). He also uses the “Watcher’s Eye” like his brothers, spying upon the aus and timelines to keep in check and to locate where the potential magic leak could be. His prediction abilities are based off of ones own star alignments; such as their zodiac, planet, sun and moon risings, etc.

To detach yourself from ones own true physical form and earth is something quite tricky that most have to do a many; for Sastro, that is just another part of his job. (Jokingly also) nicknamed “The Astronaut” as he’s learned to prefect it and used to help keep watch of others without much detection as well as the Watcher’s eye’s aid. 

Paired with his youngest brother in some projects, Clover, both skeletons have much knowledge of potions, medicinal herbs and remedies, poisons, and etc, the both sharing their knowledge and findings to continue finding new ways of their shared research. Rose quarts, Onyx, or Obsidian; Sastro has quite a slight obsession of stones and their various properties, such as healing, paint or make-up, etc. Infusing and refining said stones with his or his brothers essence/magic. He used these stones as special aid or as tools, such as flash bangs, to help aid in sudden altercations.

The bearer of Determination and known as The Astrologist, Sastro is the more colder and serious of his brothers; often just wanting to do his job and part of keeping the balance of the multiverse. Often tasked alongside of his brother, Sastro is tasked with the more knowledge aspect with the stars; fitting as out of the 4, he is the one that chooses to be more connected with his divine status. Although he is unwelcoming at first, treat him well and take some interest of his work; you will find (allegedly) one of the most warm hearted (soul) and gentle of the god siblings to exists. (Think sorta like Nanami from JJK).

He enjoys books (a guilty pleasure is romance), pastries, astrology, geology, foreign films, grandma candies, and archery.

  Calame, The Soul Fire:

The third eldest of The Fates Brothers, third born of the Ancients. (Roughly 800 years old), height is 5’10

Specializes within human and monsters emotions and key parts of ones own souls and feelings, fire, self care and self love, and the enjoyment of life. From this, he can use said persons or his own emotions to theirs or his own gain; gaining another title from his brothers as “The Gaslighter” as much as “The Soul Fire”. He also posses the Watcher’s eye as his older brothers, he uses his to keep track of the more unstable outcodes or incodes.

A connection to ones own souls and emotions, Calame aids (or controls (aka gaslighter) others with an understanding of the human or monster souls, this results in helping said aid igniting their own soul fire and passions. As well as being someone positive (for the most part, he tries to be), he can be a bit manipulative and vindictive if he is put in the right mood. Objectively out of the 4 brothers, he is the most dangerous and possibly unstable with his extensive knowledge of emotional, mental aid, and manipulation; but chooses to remain docile and helpful, wanting to just have fun and make music.

The closest to his baby and oldest brother, Clover (The Healer, The Plague Doctor or The Doctor) and Pendulum (The Cardholder or The Magician), Calame help one another with not only some of his baby brother’s alchemy and potions testing; but an aid to help improve their and their students forms of magic with Pendulum as well. (He and Sastro often clash heads with each other, logic v.s heart sorta deal). As well as being dangerous, he a being that often wants peace and fun for others; to enjoy their lives and be fulfilled and validated with their emotions. He becomes more present around more of the holidays. 

The (surprising) bearer of Integrity and known as The Soul Fire, Calame is more intelligent and aware than what most people think (excluding his brothers and their shared students). He may be a manipulator in some cases to his advantage, but he often means well to the ones that he cares for deeply; wanting only calmness and fun throughout the multiverses, rarely any fighting at all. To somewhat let loose, have fun, and somewhat curb his drama causing tendencies; Calame has turned part of his special realm within the (hidden multiverses) neutral zones into a nightclub of sorts, welcoming most and all people from different aus and timelines that know of the multiverse to let loose themselves, eat, drink, and dance (as long as not fights or violence happens within his club).

He enjoys making music, fashions (specifically rave, cyber/tech, and scene), partying, sour candies, surfing, good vibes (to sometimes eat, think Beelzebub from Helluva Boss and Dionysus from any greek media, my personal favorite is from the Hades games).

Clover, The Healer:

The fourth eldest (and youngest) of The Fate Brothers, fourth born of the Ancients. (Roughly 800 years old), height is 6’2

Specializes in healing not only ones own bodily injuries, but also the second half of healing ones own mind and soul. A combination of his own magic, human magic (and alchemy), and a newfound combination of the two different magic types. (The first two classifying with both older and newly found combo version of human and monster magic.). As well as helping heal physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wounds; Clover is also capable of poisoning and corrupting said wounds more if angered too much. (But that is very rare as he is the second most patient of his brothers.)

With his Watcher’s eye, he is able to keep an eye on all of the different souls/magic essence that is created and flows throughout the many universes/multiverses and timelines. (That includes outcodes and one with no or barely a soul at all.) From there, he could locate any potential patients that have been hurt or corrupted and relay the info to his siblings so that they could potentially locate where the magic leakage and or hurt/corrupted soul may be. He is also the second most dangerous of the Fates due to also having an unpredictable nature and second quick to anger.

Known as “The Healer”, “The Doctor”, “Plague Doctor”, or “The Alchemist”; a thirst for knowledge of all forms of magic and science is very present and an a mysterious of most. Clover is often self isolates within the shared home or within his realm attached to their neutral zones. That paired with out of all the appearance of the four, he is the most creepy and unsettling of his chosen aesthetics of taken inspiration of a patchwork, stitched up rag doll with a stylized plague doctor (Only his students and his brothers know what his face looks like.).

Appearances are a fool to most. Many avoid the masked skeleton despite being a well trained healer and one of the most kindest souls to have ever existed within the multiverses. His brothers often help with his experiments with understanding magic, testing his potions, his oils and poisons; spell bottles are present in place of his own magic as he can not use or control his own magic after his incident.

The bearer of Kindness and (most) known as The Healer, many choose not to know the youngest Fate due to his off-putting, more darker and gothic appearance to his three older siblings. Their shared students have no fear and are often the ones he receives affection from (as well as his siblings), often coming to him for advice and his teaching them the different magic styles. Easily adaptable to new environments, he is surprisingly the one that needs to be kept on a leash or an eye kept on him as he has a tendency to space out, get distracted and wander around the area.

He enjoys baking/cooking, scrapbooking, making handmade things like paper or fruit jams/jellies, discovering new potions and magic uses, travel, and books (romance books are also a guilty pleasure.)
