Today's TPoH Update

Emergency: I need your Help, My family needs your help.

My house is destroyed, My family is without power and water. Two people are injured, one dead.

I was shocked to find out during class that my country suffered a horrible monsoon. The worst thing is that it has affected my family directly in a horrible way.

You see, we had a very tall tree in our front yard, our front yard is right in front of one of the busiest most  concurrated streets in the capital. Because of soil removal by the water and a lighting hitting it, the tree fell down.

It feel down destroying our wall, half our roof, our gate, the sidewalk and the worst part:

It crushed three cars that were passing by the street, injuring two people gravely and killing one person.

Here are some pictures, these are pictures I took from different newspapers. 

The damage is so bad, my family is completely exposed to the elements and possible burglars or any other person with ill intentions. They have no protections or electricity.

I’m in USA and can’t help them directly.

Yes,I do miss Oai and if I am true to heart,I was rather sad that she said that she was leaving but it was her choice after all and I hope that she will be alright and safe since she is not longer on tumblr.

Hey you guys, I saw this post on Instagram yesterday and it broke my heart. This is a picture of Melanie’s cat, Nino, who was abused because he was in the bathtub when Melanie’s sister’s roommate wanted to shower. As said in the post, Nino suffered a broken jaw and is unable to eat on his own, he is blind in his left eye from the trauma and will need jaw surgery which costs about $6000. 

Edit: To answer those anons and messages I’ve received regarding the police report, yes a police has been filed and they have a court date set and another one with the superior court. Also, the thing going around about Zayn wanting to pay for Nino’s surgery, unfortunately isn’t true, someone had photoshopped it and Melanie does not have a Twitter account! She said this on her Instagram x

Her family isn’t in a financial position to come up with the money and NINO DOESN’T DESERVE TO DIE LIKE THIS. Here’s their gofundme page . Donations have been pouring in since 4 days ago and they’ve raised about $15,000+ as of now.  Here’s a petition I’ve created and I hope you guys will help me sign this. We need Nino’s story as awareness that there is something we need to do against animal abuse. 

He didn’t deserve that, no animal deserves such torture. They provide us with love that no ordinary humans can give their match to, how can they be treated like this? We need to use the voice we humans have to stand up and stop these abuse for the animals.

Please stop animal abuse.

Three years ago, my dog went viral on Imgur and Reddit, thanks to this picture I took right after she’d yanked down a post from the front of our house with her bare strength.

But like the image above says, this is not a good post.

That dog above, the one that made so many people laugh, her name is Eva, and she’s my 7-year-old lab. She was just diagnosed with canine lymphoma.

Without chemo, she only has 3 months left with us. But her oncologist has given her a good prognosis with chemotherapy. She could live to see her 9th, 10th, and even 11th birthday.

Which means more years of this happy, ridiculous puppy.

The price to extend her life? $8500.

I nearly died when I saw the number. I’m paying off 4 student loans right now, and my parents are in insurmountable debt. I thought, this is it, we’re screwed. In between crying spells and anxiety attacks, I realized what my choices were: give up and let Eva go in the next 3 months, or crowdfund my ass off.

Internet: you’ve done it before, now I’m begging you, do it again. Spread Eva like wildfire. She deserves a second chance. She deserves the extra time, and all the fun and happiness she’ll have in that time.

another virus is going around

i just got home and saw a message from a mutual i’ve never talked to, about a birthday gift. DONT CLICK ON THE LINK. i haven’t so i don’t know what it does, but i’ve heard it logs you out and sends you to a fake tumblr to take your information. it’s a hack. and it fucks up your computer/laptop/phone/device.

this is what the message looks like, and if you click the link, it sends it to every single one of your mutuals (or possibly ALL THE PEOPLE THAT FOLLOW YOU)

The mental health toll from the Orlando shooting

What happened at Pulse was a clear act of hate-based violence — and in a historically safe space, no less.  The shooting may also produce long-term mental health effects, according to Liz Margolies, psychotherapist and founder of the National LGBT Cancer Network. 

People who directly experienced the attack — or know someone who did — may develop post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms. “The rest of us could be more vulnerable to anxiety and depression,” Margolies said in a phone interview. If you are feeling affected mentally by the shooting, you are not alone.

So, last night, I was getting ready to go out with my boyfriend to a dance at my school (which was cancelled due to lack of ticket sales) and, I had a nice black vest and a nice white shirt, and my uncle had just came home the other day from the mine (my uncle is homophobic and he has abused me many times throughout my child hood) and when I had came out of my room to show my memere how nice I looked, my uncle was in the room that i thought my grandma/memere would be in (she was downstairs doing laundry), and he asked me why I wasnt wearing a dress. my memere and dad both know that I am transgendered and they respect that, however, my uncle does not, and he did not know. so I decided to sit down and tell him the truth. he listened carefully and quietlly through all of it, but at the end of my explanation he had said, “I didn’t raise you to be fucked up.” I agreed, I am a huge mess, I have been for years, but my sexuality and gender identity is not a fuck up, so I argued with him. he got to a point where, after so many months of piece, he slapped me. and threw me to the ground and kicked me in the stomach, of course I had puked, and it hurt, a lot. he grabbed me by the shirt and asked me, “are you a girl”, I said no, my sex is female, but my gender is male..and he dragged me to his room. he once had a big dog, and he made that dog wear an eletrical dog collar, and weve always kept it in his room, because we dont need it (my uncle killed the dog), he threw me onto the bed and said,” ill ask you one more time, are you a girl” I said no. held grabbed my wrist, and held onto it tightly, I have a bruise from how tight he was grabbing it, and he pulled out the dog collar, threw me back onto the bed, sat on me, and put the collar on me… then he began yelling, are you a girl, you are a girl, are you a girl, you are a girl, and my response of course was no, no, no, I am male, I am male. whenever I said that, he would shock me, and it was /hell/. I was screaming, which only caused the shocks to get worse and worse, and then he said, “do you want to find out how faggots have sex!?” of course I already know this, but still I said no no no no stop stop stop. my memere had finally heard me and came rushing to the bedroom, and tried to make my uncle stop, but he pushed her down, and thanked god she was okay.. since shes very fragile and all. she then ran back to the stairs to call up my dad, and oh boy did he run. he ran up stairs and shoved my uncle away from me and started fighting with him, yelling, punching, kicking, and such so on. my memere got the collar off of me and brought me into her room, and after my dad and uncle were done fighting, my uncle had grabbed the things he needed and left, shouting a few insults at us. we called the police today, but they cant find him. we dont have money for a lawyer,  all we have is a counsellor, im not going to ask for money, all I ask for is support. I dont know what this will do, but please spread this around,  this has affected me and family members greatly. I was taken to a hospital today to check if there was any damage on my insides that we dont know of and thankfully there was no damage, just scarring, emotionally and physically. i had a horrifying nightmare relating to this as well. If you have abused somebody, raped somebody, insulted somebody, in any way possible, I hope this can somehow change your way of heart, and realize how much this can horrify a person, and ruin their lives. it made my life 97x worse than it already is.

While they say there has been no evidence to prove this third party is trying to access these accounts, there have been multiple people who have been affected and hacked. Mitzu ( @mitzusins) was one of those hacked. Oolay ( @oolay-tiger) has also been affected, but not hacked.

Please listen to me folks. If you have been signed out of your account without your own doing so, D O  N O T click any links to reset a paaword on an email. You can do this on your own Tumblr, and clicking on any links can make your personal information available to this hacker. 

If you have clicked on a link and reset your password, I’m telling you right now: CHANGE YOUR TUMBLR AND EMAIL PASSWORD IMMEDIATELY UPON READING THIS. You can possibly save yourself from being hacked and blocked from your email account by doing this.
