palestinian children are dying of heart attacks because of the constant fear and nervous system exhaustion of near 24 hr bombardment. for ELEVEN FULL MONTHS palestinian children have been dying of heart attacks. dying from fear.
Self-care is great, and it's necessary, but it's not enough on its own. We need each other, and we need to take care of each other.
It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraiser on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives. I am Mahmoud's wife. Unfortunately, I wanted to inform you that my husband Mahmoud was injured in the head, which caused a skull fracture that descended onto the nerves of the brain and affected the nerves of speech, hearing, and sight.
Mahmoud's condition is very critical and he must go abroad for treatment. He was injured 3 days ago and underwent surgery to clean his head. The doctors are telling us that he needs to undergo a major operation to remove the shrapnel or fix it to the skull bone so that no nerves in the brain are cut off.

not only is money sent to Palestine by humanitarian groups getting blocked by international banks, this also applies to regular people who are trying to send money to friends or relatives in Gaza while living abroad.
my dear friend @bilal-salah0 has to face ridiculous challenges in transferring funds to his family of 18 people. he cannot transfer the funds from his german bank account directly, but needs to pass them through another country first. this means he is faced with extremely high transfer fees. on top of that, he was the victim of extortion by his exploitative ex-employer/landlord. please help him reach his goal of €110,000 in 10 days so he can help his family survive!
