Ok, can we talk about What If ep. 3? We all know and love Loki going to Earth to avenge his brother, but can you imagine what he felt like when Hank told him the reason Thor was killed? Hank legit told Fury (Loki in disguise) that he killed Thor because there was a POSSIBILITY of Thor becoming an Avenger. And Loki's response: "That's it? You murdered him because you could?!" is gut wrenching.
Now Loki's random villainy at the end of the episode makes sense. The dude showed up to Earth with a whole army just because of his brother's death. Now he finds out it was all because some asshole was like "hmmmm I think this buff alien dude might join the superhero band. I'll kill him just on the possibility of that." You bet Loki is going to lash out even harder and decide to go all "Midgard is mine now."
It's just my theory so let me know what you all think.
Good news is apparently the TVA got rid of the alternate timeline where 2012 Loki is from (thank you @taaroko ). Now we need a reunion scene of the Brodinsons.

You're allowed to love problematic fictional characters. No it doesnt reflect on your morals as a person. It's fiction. It's supposed to give you joy and entertainment. You don't need to detach yourself from a fictional character you love because they've done some questionable things (or because other people said you should). Love them as much as you want. It's not real.

So, Fire lord Zuko. I'm honestly really disappointed with how the comics portrayed him. In LOK (and in general) it's implied that he's some amazing leader, but the comics really do a bad job of indicating this. I understand he's still young/in his first years of Fire lord, so it makes sense that he makes mistakes, but the comics also give us very little evidence of him being the great and wise Fire lord the avatar-verse implies him to be. The whole thing feels very "trust me guys 🤗🤗🤗🤗 he's an awesome ruler 🤗🤗🤗🤗 no we're not going to prove it."

hi i had never made a post like this before but my mom told me a few minutes ago that we don't have any money nor food for the week. we have two dogs and I'm very scared, more for them than for me. it makes me feel embarrassed and sad to be asking for money but I am not currently in a position to work.

Here's a thought: In tower of nero, when apollo tells nico about Jason's death, nico is holding meg's hand. He then flinches and quickly pulls his hand away, this being described as "as if he remembered his touch was poison" or something like that. Immediately afterwords, when he walks away, his feet leave a trail of dead grass, as a sign of his emotional turmoil. We know that he starts involuntarily killing things when he's upset, and we know he can kill people by touching them, so maybe he pulled his hand away from meg so rapidly because he was afraid he'd lose control of his deadly-touch powers as he got more upset.
Idk if that made any sense but there ya go

sick of seeing posts about how hades is actually a great father to nico and justifying the way he has treated nico. i don’t think he’s AWFUL, but he did treat nico badly. there is never a justifiable reason to tell your 12 year old child that you wished they had died instead of their sibling. holy shit i can’t believe i have to say that. he lied to and tricked nico, taking advantage of his trusting nature to pursue his own ambitions. he royally fucked up and he did things that are no doubt damaging to his relationship with nico.
do i think he’s redeemable? it depends! he has since tried to mend his relationship with nico and i think that’s cool. the thing about mending a relationship with an abusive parent is that it’s up to the victim whether or not they can forgive that person and let them back into their life. sometimes, if the person has truly changed and the victim feels they can safely be around them again, and the abuser has acknowledged their faults, then they can have a good relationship. often this is not possible, and that’s fine. you are not at all required to forgive someone who hurt you. however it seems that nico has, at least mostly, forgiven hades and is trying to have a positive relationship with him. so yea i’d say hades is redeeming himself. but that doesn’t mean you can forget what he did or brush it off. there’s no justification for what he did
Do y'all think that one time Nico was on a quest or something and he's with Percy/Jason or whoever and they needed to send an Iris message but they didn't have any way to produce a rainbow so Percy/Jason/whoever just pushes Nico forward with a drachma and is like "Oh Iris, Goddess of the Rainbow, accept this offering," and just stand there for a second just w o n d e r i n g whether it'll work or not and they all lose their sh*t when it does? Because I sure do.
