Part 7

Wally Clark x fem reader Y/N

Summary: It’s the day of yours and Wally’s joint memorial service at school and you see your family for what maybe the last time.

The next few days go in a blur. Mr. Martin is trying to get you to open up about yourself, to share things about yourself and how you are coping. You’re not really. After the dance when the principal mentioned a memorial reality hit like a train. I’m dead. It’s not a dream I’m dead and so is Wally. You are not the only one struggling to talk about yourself in group, Wally is too. He’s shared with you some things, but you can tell he’s holding back maybe the same reason why I am too.

Wednesday arrives it’s the day of your joint memorial service. Teachers and students have been all over the gym setting y up chairs and bringing in flowers. And before you know it, it’s time to start. The other ghosts are already sitting down with you and Wally. The doors open and students and staff pile into the room and then you notice your parents and your sister Mary. They look like they haven’t slept at all, even from a distance you can tell. Mary is quiet which is not like her she’s normally the loud 14-year-old girl who loved horses and music you’ve never seen her sad until now. You don’t even realise but you have been crying ever since your family walked into the gym. Wally sitting beside you puts him arm around you to comfort you. Wally’s parents are next to arrive, and they look just as devastated as your parents. The gym was filled with all your favourite things. Your favourite flowers, books you love, things with your favourite colour and endless photos of you and Wally around. There were footballs and other sports Wally loves, posters of his favourite music groups. All the special things of you and his life around the gym.

The room goes quiet as Mr Smith heads to the stage. “Good morning, everyone, today is going to be tough as we mourn and celebrate the lives of Y/N and Wally Clark. If you could turn your attention to the projection screen, we have made a photo montage of them.” Photos of you and Wally are shared on the screen along with music. Photos of when you two were young all the way up until your last photo together which happened to be 2 days before your deaths. Tears fill your eyes as you run out the room not being able to handle it. it’s your own memorial, you’re not meant to see it but because you are stuck in this ‘in between’ you must witness not only your own pain, but also your family’s and even Wally’s. You leave tears still streaming down your face and air struggling to get to your lungs you just walk as for as your legs will take you before you can’t walk anymore and you drop to the floor, put your head between your hands and bring your knees close to your chest as you sob.

“Hey Darling.” Wally says as he finds you. He crouches down next to you and puts his arm around you. “Well, I guess it’s my turn to be the mess and be embarrassing. I knew it was going to be hard but that-“ you can’t even finish what you are saying as you choke on your words. You feel a lump at the back on your throat. “It’s ok darling, we can get through this. No one besides the other ghosts the sat through their own memorial before” He whispers. Wally has always called you Darling for as long as you remember but now something makes you feel different. Not in a bad way but maybe in a good way. Before you know it, your memorial is over, and you can see your family in the hall as they make their way to the parking lot. This may be the last time you see your family that is until Mary starts high school, so you follow them, just to be near them. You try to speak to talk to them to let them know you are ok… well okish but they can’t hear you. They get to their car and leave. Overwhelmed with emotions you drop to your knees sobbing uncontrollably. Maybe it was time to try to share and talk about my emotions with group.

You take minute to stop crying, you and Wally head back inside. “Wally is it ok if I just have some alone time?” you ask as you make your way down to the teachers’ lounge seemingly where all the other ghosts like to hang out. “I don’t like the idea of you being by yourself when you have been in such a state. He replies. “I will be ok, nothing bad is going to happen, I’m already dead. You silently laugh. “At least tell me where you will be so if I need to, I can check on you. Wally responds. You can tell he’s emotional too. “I’ll be in our spot on the roof, I will be ok I just need a minute to myself. You know how I get when I get overwhelmed. Wally nods as he walks to the teachers’ lounge, and you head in the opposite direction. You get to the roof, and you expect yourself to burst into more tears but to your surprise you don’t. you just sit there quietly watch the world go by, something you need to get used to since you don’t know how long you will be trapped here.

Part 6

Wally Clark x fem reader Y/N

Summary:

It’s time for the homecoming dance and you meet a new ghost named Tommy. And reality of your death hits you both as the school is organizing a memorial.

You and Wally reach the teachers’ lounge and you spot Janet, Rhonda and the other ghost who hasn’t said anything except stare at you which you find unsettling, but it could be just his way to cope with new ghosts. “Hi, uh we have some more questions, and we are hoping you can help us?” You ask the group. Janet gets up from her seat “I can try to help but like Mr Martin said we don’t know what causes us to be in this “In between” phase we just are.” She adds. “The more you dwell on your past and how you are stuck here the harder it will be on you. We want to figure our way out of here, to cross over but a big part of that is letting go of your past and embrace that you are here.” Not knowing how to respond to that You and Wally just stare blankly at her and each other. “Right so we just have to accept we are stuck here for how knows how long so we can eventually figure out how to cross over?” Wally says. The other ghost who has blonde hair and a tan who honestly looks like a model straight out of a magazine, is still staring blankly. “Ok blondie, you are starting to creep me out. Why are you just staring?” You ask him. He finally responds. “Sorry, this is all new to me too. I died not that long ago. I was a Junior when you were freshman you properly don’t remember. I’m Thomas but you can call me Tommy.”

You and Wally continue to ask questions to the others until you can hear loud music. The dance has started. “Well, I don’t know about you guys, but I wanted to check out the dance and get some delicious punch they have every year.” Janet says as she gets up and starts to walk to the door. “Y/N and Wally if you want to join, go to the theatre there’s a room under the stage they have a bunch of old clothes if you want to dress up. Tommy and Rhonda follow seemingly also going to the dance. “Well, what do you say Y/N you want to go to the dance with me?” Wally asks as it’s just the two of you left in the room. “We’ve got nothing else to do so why not.” You respond. “But I want to look cute if I’m going.” “They can’t see- you know what never mind let’s go.”

You and Wally leave and walk to the theatre and find the hatch that leads to the room under the stage. Dozens of kids from your year start to pile through the doors all dressed up. You get to the drama room and find a bunch of clothes to wear. You spot a blue frilly dress your size and shove it on as Wally finds an old suit that looks like it’s been here since Janet was here. You exit the room and head to the gym. Entering the gym, you immediately see a photo of You and Wally together with a banner underneath that reads “Gone too soon” Seeing that you and Wally both look at each other as the situation of it all sinks in. you and him are well and truly dead.

“Ugh, I can’t believe the hot jock died. I was going to ask him out.” Amy said to her friends as they enter the gym and see the photo of You and Wally. “That nerdy friend of his had to die the same day as him to steal his moment because those two have to share everything together.” Karen one of Amy’s bitch pack laughs as they enter the dance. “Ignore them, come on lets at least try to have some fun.” Wally says trying to lighten your mood seeing how hurt you were at their comments. You take his hand and walk further in the gym. Wally drags you on the dance floor. You were hesitant at first but then he reminds you they can’t see you. So, you do and dance like literary no one was watching. Just as the dance is about to end, Principal Smith takes the stage. “Can I have everyone’s attention? I want to say that for those who were close to Wally, and Y/N I know it must be hard to be here. This dance is our way to honour both which is why they are both this year’s Homecoming King and Queen.” You both take the stage as if they can see you and you and Wally place the crowns on your heads. Principal Smith gets a photo of you and Wally up on the stage and places the crowns on top of the photo. “Don’t forget students that the school will be closed until Wednesday, and we will be having a memorial service for both of them and as far as I know their parents haven’t set a date for their funerals.” Mr Smith said as the dance dies down and reality hits you. Your family. They must be devastated. You just want to see them, but you can’t. Sadness washes over you as Wally turns and gives you a hug for support. You think to yourself this may be greedy, but you are glad you are here with Wally. Because you can’t imagine doing this alone.

Part 5

Wally Clark x fem reader Y/N

Summary:

You and Wally experience your first group with the other ghosts and get some answers to some questions you have until you are interrupted by people setting up for the homecoming dance.

“Ah you found us. Welcome to the Split River High afterlife support group. Have a seat and let’s get started.” Mr Martin said eagerly. You and Wally sit in the middle of the circle, Rhonda on one side, Janet the next side. “Ok so who would like to start- “Yeah I do” Wally says interrupting Mr Martin. “So, we are all dead, but we can still do things that we used to be able to do but people can’t see or hear us, and we can’t leave this place?”

“Yes. We don’t exactly know why we are stuck here let’s just call it the “in between” but we are. I have been here for 25 years and still haven’t worked it out I’m afraid.” Mr Martin explains as you and Wally sit and stare blankly at him neither of you not knowing how to respond to that. You are about to ask another question when Janet chimes in “I’ve been here for 23 years, I fell down a flight of stairs and broke my neck. Mr Martin was already here.” Stunned is all you can think about. These people or should I say ghosts have been trapped in this school for 25 years not knowing why you can’t leave is crazy. “How did you die?” Rhonda asks looking directly at you. Before you can say anything another ghosts’ chimes in. “are you guys dating? You have the same jacket on and died the same day makes sense if you were together when you died.” The ghost next to Janet not revealing his name but you could tell he died during the drug phase of the 70s just by looking at him.

“Actually, Wally and I are best friends. Our moms are also best friends, and we were born five days apart. Wally gave me his old varsity jacket when the team upgraded in sophomore year, and I wear it to all of his games.” You say trying not to share too much about you and Wally’s friendship. “As for how we died, Wally got tackled really badly by the other team and his neck snapped and I got hit by a car that was speeding in the parking lot.” You share with the group. “Wait that’s how it happened? It happened so fast I didn’t even feel it. That must have been scary to watch.” Wally says to you softly trying not to show his emotions to the group. Just as you were about to respond you are interrupted again but this time not from another ghost it was a bunch of people entering the gym getting decorations hung and placed around. “What is happening?” you ask turning around and seeing more people file into the gym. “It was your homecoming yesterday, right? Well today is the dance.” Janet answers. “No fucking way they are still having the dance after we died. Did we mean nothing to people at this school?” Wally yells before walking off and starts yelling at everyone in the gym. “I’ll talk to him and try to get him to come- ““No need Y/N group will finish early; they might not be able to see us, but they will get in our way.” Mr Martin says as he interrupts you.

Wally is pissed. He’s still trying to get someone, anyone’s attention but nothing. “Wally, hey its ok let’s go talk somewhere.” You say ever so gently trying not to anger him anymore. Without saying another word, you see tears stream down his face as you embrace in a hug. You and Wally walk down the halls away from the others to talk. “It might have been too late to cancel the dance, Wally. It cost a lot of money for the school, and it could have been just easier to continue on.” You say to Wally as he has finally calmed down. “Yeah, I guess so. Man, I’ve been such an emotion wreak lately, haven’t I? Talk about embarrassing.” Wally admits looking away. “Hey, look at me Wally.” You say touching his chin to lift his gaze from of the floor and on to you. “Don’t be sorry. We are going through a lot right now it’s understandable you will be emotional. I am too but we are not in this alone. We have the others who will help us. To answer the questions, we have. You aren’t alone Wally. You will never be.” You say as you embrace in a tight hug. As you do you feel the butterflies again in your stomach that are only there when he embraces you. This crush is going to get more complicated now, but you still can’t tell him yet. You don’t want to risk your friendship and he needs a friend now more than a new relationship. Besides you wonder, he might not love me back in that way. “You really know what to say when I’m like this don’t you Y/N I love you. What did I deserve to have a best friend like you?” He responds after you release from your hug. “I love you too Wally. I’m lucky to call you my best friend. Now come on let’s go find one of the other ghosts and we can ask as many questions you have.” You say as you take Wally’s hand and walk down the hall into the teachers’ lounge since that’s where you figured they like to hang out.

Part 4.

Wally Clark x fem reader Y/N

Summary:

Its your first full day in the spirit world or as Mr Martin calls it, the “in between” and Wally isn’t coping with your new life. And you attend your first Split River High afterlife support group wanting answers to the endless questions you have.

The sun beamed through the library waking you up even though you didn’t sleep much as the events of yesterday replayed in your mind over and over again. You sit up and notice Wally wasn’t in the library. Concern washes over you not knowing where he went. You get up and do a quick scan of the library making sure he really wasn’t in the library. You exit and you can hear voices. Other ghosts.? You noticed walking passed the art room was a guy sitting at the pottery wheel never looking up once. “He’s a looper. Stuck in the same routine you did the day he died.” Rhonda said behind you causing you to jump. “Could you not do that? You scared me half to death.” You puff holding on to your chest. “You are already dead. Do I have to explain myself to you again? I thought you were the smart one.” Rhonda sasses back as she once again has a lollipop with her. “What’s a looper? Wait never mind have you seen Wally?” you say. “The meathead jock that died the same time as you? Yeah, I saw him on the field. He clearly not understanding he can’t leave this place.” Rhonda responds. Before you can say anything, she left. Clearly, she’s going to be a handful.

Heading towards the field once more you see Wally scream as he’s clearly frustrated you see him run to leave and then just before your eyes crash right back on the field where he died. You walk over to him calmy and he lays on the ground still full of anger. You lay down next to him to try to calm him down. “Wally, I know this sucks but it’s going to be ok.” You say softly. He doesn’t respond just yells and then cries. Something you’ve only seen a handful of times. He was the type of guy not to share his emotions. “Shush its ok I’ve got you.” You say as you roll over to give him a hug. You and him just lay there not saying a word as emotions build up. You are patient and wait for him to be ready to talk about it. “I can’t believe this Y/N.” he finally speaks after laying there sobbing in your arms. “I know. We can get through this it will be ok.” You say back not actually believing in your own words. You have been this close to Wally before but this time it feels different. Butterflies swirl around on your stomach as you hold him. “Whatever this is Wally, we can figure it out together like we always do.” “Yeah, I guess you’re right. Thanks for always calming me down and always saying the right things, you are a great friend.” Wally says softly. There’s that word friend again I know that’s what you and him where, but you can’t help but feel a pang in your heart. Maybe he truly only sees you as a friend and nothing more. You and Wally remain on the grass of the field still holding each other not wanting to let go anytime soon. Well, that was true until you feel rain droplets fall on your soft skin. You both get up and make a run for it. You look at wally and he think it too. If you are well and truly dead, how can we feel things like rain? still hold objects like we did before? How are we hungry and tired too? None of it makes sense. But you know who the answers might have you are looking for. Mr Martin. You and Wally don’t say anything as you walk back to school. Both of you confused and wanting no needing answers. “The only one that can give us answers is that Mr Martin guy. He said something last night about group. Maybe we go there and try to figure out what the hell is going on.” You say as you notice that you and Wally are suddenly dry. You and Wally continue to walk around not seeing anyone you decide to go to the gym since you can’t think of anywhere else there would be a ghost meeting. And as soon as Wally opens the doors to the gym in the corner you see Mr Martin, Janet, Rhonda, and a bunch of other ghosts you haven’t seen before all sitting in a cir

Maddie Nears

Maddie Nears

Maddie never really died. At least not as a teenager. One night she went down to the boiler room and woke up a little later as a ghost. For weeks she tried to find out who had killed her, only to realize that she wasn't dead at all. When someone has to choose between life and death, few people feel as torn as Maddie.

She missed her friends. Simon and Nicole were actually more, the three of them were one heart and one soul. She wasn't just interested in watching black and white horror movies with them or passing the time in the breaks between lessons. She had a firm plan for the future, she wanted to get out of Split River, away from here, away from all the shit in small-town America.

But she also wanted a happy family and knew she might never get that. She loved her mom, she really did. But watching your mom fail every time while the kid has to play the adult is hard. That was perhaps the only good thing about it: that her mom was trying to get sober.

Well, not the only good thing: the first person to contact her when she was a ghost was Charley. She almost regrets being so harsh to him at first, but there was never any bad blood between them for long. If Charley had been in her year, they would have been friends, Maddie is sure of it. He helped her, she wanted to do something good for him. Hence the letter. And because she can't stand it when her friends suffer. Sometimes she wonders if she has some kind of savior syndrome, but fuck it, she thinks to herself. If it helps my friends...

Rhonda's and her relationship is harder to assess. They both regularly exchange literature. Maddie shows her the joys of the gothic genre, Rhonda gets her excited about the beat poets. When it comes to movies, the two have completely different tastes and spend hours and hours discussing them without reaching an agreement. Movie nights have never been quiet since.

She is the first to gain Mina's trust. Sometimes, when everything gets too much for her, she goes into the auditorium and watches Mina as she cat-like lays cables on the spotlight struts. The two don't talk much, but the silence makes them comfortable. Dawn only leaves a dull feeling after she crosses over. It's strange not to see her sitting in her usual spot. But Maddie can't help but feel a warmth, too. Warmth she hasn't felt from the sun since she became a ghost.

Since she became a ghost, she sometimes has unbearable headaches that make her see black. Wally is the first to notice. When they are sitting in the library and her headache starts, he waits 5 minutes, then takes the book out of her hand, sits next to her and starts massaging her head. She regrets that she never told him how grateful she was. When she was out with Wally, she laughed for the first time since she was stuck as a ghost in Split River High School. She doesn't even notice her feelings for Wally at first because there's so much going on. Looking back, she knows it was slow to start, but by the time she realized it, she was so deep into it that it seemed sudden.

So who could blame her for being attached to the afterlife?

Wally is unhinged this season.

“You’ve been here four years babe, try forty”

“Where can we find a bazooka?”

“Why didn’t you break the glass?”

“Maybe she was like a secret brew master. Like making prison hooch”

“Oh my God Rhonda can you please take her back? You wake it you buy it”

“Out of the closet or the pottery room?”

Charley: like body shots?

Wally: ooh I miss those

Best Friends Club

Wally's chatting with Maddie and Charley before school, has his arm around your shoulders as you focus on your phone, laughing and joking and smiling wide until:

"Holy crap, Jake Tremblay just asked me to go out Friday," You announce, pretty eyes wide, blinking in shock at everyone.

Wally goes still, smile sliding off his face as his stomach drops and his heart ups and lodges itself in his throat. God, this hurts.

See, the thing is, you're Wally's best friend. And while he has his arm around you—is always reaching for you, hand on your back, arm, shoulder, whatever—it's never been anything but friendly. Best friendly. Because you and he are f r i e n d s. And it sucks. Royally.

Why? Yeah, no one needs three guesses to figure out that Wally's been in love with you since Grade 4. That massacre of a puppet show the kids put on for their parents during Spirit Week. You and Wally spent the entire performance using sock puppets to have a dialogue about who'd win in a fight: Goku or Sailor Moon. Didn't even notice the blood vessel about to pop in Mr. Toast's temple when things really started to spiral.

Wally only comes down to earth when you say his name for what must not be the first time, everyone's eyes on him. Yours, especially, beautiful and concerned as you stare at him expectantly.

"What was that?" He asks, feeling simultaneously dumb and unable to function.

You repeat, "I asked you what I should say..." and turn to face him fully. Still close enough that your body heat soaks through his hoodie. Fuck, how can he say anything negative when you're giving him that sweet, earnest expression? Seeking advice from someone you trust implicitly.

Against his better judgment—or maybe for it—Wally slaps on a smile and says, "Yeah. You should go for it."

This isn't the first time you've been asked out. Of course, those last few times you didn't look so keen on accepting the offer. When you turn back to your phone, Wally's face immediately falls. He doesn't look at Maddie or Charley, can't handle the pity he knows he'll see in their eyes.

Everyone in the circle knows about Wally's crush on you (fuck, it's so much more than that), but apart from insisting he talk to you, no one points it out. You're the only one who hasn't caught on, Nicole having informed Wally that you giggled over popcorn, what are you talking about? Wally's always like that, when everyone was at the APEX for a midnight screening of some scary movie Wally couldn't have cared less about.

And, sure, Wally is 'always like that': Goofy, charming, flirtatious; standing in line at concessions for you and holding your bag when you go to the bathroom... What you don't seem to grasp is that Wally isn't like that with anyone else. And now you're saying 'yes' to Jake Tremblay and Wally has to muster the strength not to punch a wall.

‗•‗

Simon closes his locker only to jolt backwards. Wally appeared out of the fucking ether, what the hell? He has his forehead pressed against the locker beside Simon's, shoulders slumped, looking all-in-all miserable to exist.

"Yoouu okay?" Simon ventures, raising a brow.

Slowly, Wally turns his head and nothing else, eyes puppy-dog sad and lower lip pursed in a pout, "No." And then, after turning to face the locker again, "She said yes to Jake Tremblay."

"Dude, I've told you a thousand times, talk. to. her." Simon says like a mother insisting Wally clean his room.

Pointed, "Oh, you mean like you talked to Maddie?"

Simon takes a moment to reevaluate his life before, in a placid, neutral tone, declares, "I regret this friendship."

"No you don't." Wally says, but he's still glooming into the locker. "What do I do?"

"Aside from talk to her?" Simon shrugs helplessly. How's he supposed to know? He and Wally have been paddling the same sinking boat for approximately the same number of years. "Do you...wanna threaten Jake?" Simon asks in a pitch similar to that used when asking children if they want to go for ice cream after a tantrum.

Wally seems to seriously consider it but glumly decides, "No. I want her to be happy." A heavy sigh. "Even if it's not with me."

"This isn't going to make you some kind of martyr, you know."

"I know."

Simon doesn't think Wally does know, but fine, he'll play along. "Maybe it'll go so bad that she swears off dating forever."

"A guy can dream," Wally mumbles as he straightens, and, Jesus, he looks like every puppy in the world just got kicked and he was forced to watch.

Simon can see beneath Wally's utter despair to the gears turning in his brain. Can sense what ill-advised plan Wally is cooking up (because this isn't the first time he's done something stupid to ensure you're safe). In an effort to, a) avoid criminal charges and, b) make Wally feel better:

"What if I happen to be in the same place at the same time? I could keep an eye on things for you." Simon suggests and he already wishes he didn't say anything.

Wally brightens, "You'd do that for me?"

"Apparently..." Simon says, questioning himself. "Look, better me than you, right? Otherwise, it'll be exactly what it is and she'll never talk to you again."

"Why? What would it be if I do it?"

"Stalking, Wally," Simon states as he heads into History, Wally at his heels.

"Hey!" Wally protests, "It's not like that!"

Taking his seat, Simon just gives Wally a pointed stare, "Buddy, I know you read those BookTok romances, but following your BFF on her date with another dude isn't a romantic gesture. It's creepy a-f."

"But...you'll do it for me?" Wally wants to confirm, his eyes all wide and pleading.

Simon sighs, thinking this is a terrible idea, but seeing Wally so sad breaks Simon's heart and he can't bring himself to take back the offer. "...Apparently."

‗•‗

Friday comes. It's all you've been talking about since Monday and Wally has had it up to here with Jake This and Jake That, and if he hears one. more. thing. about Jake, Wally's going to burst into a million pieces of ragehate and take the whole school with him.

But he smiles and nods and teases you like he would in any other situation, bumping your ass with his hip when he finds you at your locker at lunch. You don't even need to look to know it's him, simply continue to shove your backpack in your locker and grab your jean jacket.

"Diner?" You give him a sunshine smile that Wally returns, almost forgetting about your date and Jake and how you're not actually Wally's girlfriend.

Not in this lifetime, his brain reminds him bluntly.

His blood stings.

Over lunch at the diner down the street, you outline exactly what Jake has planned. Dinner at the Italian place beside the Arcade (it's fucking Olive Garden, Jake, do better) and then—Jesus, really?!—stargazing on the roof of the old cigarette factory. An organized thing. The planets will be in some kind of super rare alignment or something, and local enthusiasts have banded together to share their telescopes.

"No offense, but since when do you care about the planets?" Wally wonders as he dips his fries into your ketchup.

You shrug, "I mean, it's something to do, right? And you're always telling me to 'branch out and try new things, dorkface'," You exaggerate the last part in a parody of Wally's voice before continuing as yourself, "so, why not astronomy?"

"Because it's outside and you hate outside things before May." Wally chuckles and shakes his head, "You're gonna get cold and complain and steal Jake's hoodie like you've stolen five of mine."

Wally loathed the idea of you stealing another guy's anything, but he smiled through the jealousy. Perhaps a little too intent on smearing more fries through your ketchup as his knee bumps the underside of the table in quick, nervous intervals.

Oh, he is not doing well.

He instantly notices how you've gone still, how you're studying his expression, words, behavior like a zoologist at the gorilla enclosure because Wally can't fucking keep his cool when he's forced to think about you being cozy and cute for someone who isn't him-shaped.

Wally keeps his eyes on his plate for a few moments; long enough that you gracefully change the subject and ask Wally what his plans are for tonight. As if they don't involve hanging out with his phone while he obsessively waits for Simon's updates throughout the course of your date.

"Nothing special," He says, patting himself on the back for keeping his voice even, "just hanging out at home."

‗•‗

It's 8:43PM when Wally's phone lights up with a call. As promised, Simon kept Wally abreast of every. single. thing. you and Jake did on your date. From flirty conversation over unlimited breadsticks to shifting to one side of the booth to split dessert.

It's only been an hour and a half since you and Jake were seated. What on earth could Simon have to tell him that couldn't be texted?

"Don't freak out—" Wally promptly freaks out "—but something happened."

Wally shoots up in bed, where he's been whiling away since he got home from school, and is immediately on alert. Heart pounding, blood pumping, ready for war.

"What's going on? Is she okay?"

"Oh. She's fine." Simon reports. He sounds like he's hiding, voice a harsh whisper just loud enough for Wally to hear. "Jake might be in a permanent body cast for the rest of his life, but she's totally fine."

Wally breathes a sigh of relief, although he's still confused, "What happened?"

Simon clears his throat, "She's probably going to call you in, like, a minute, so you have to act...just...be cool, okay?" And then, finally, he reveals, "Jake tried to stick his hand under her skirt. And I mean, he went for it. Full grope from behind."

At that moment, Wally sees fucking r e d. He's off the phone and in his car faster than a bullet, tearing out of his parents' driveway with a screech. Burns rubber around every corner; breaks several traffic laws; and pulls up just as you're about to get into an Uber. There's no sign of Jake. Unfortunate, since Wally has a surplus of adrenaline thrumming through his veins, and the only cure is beating the guy's face to a fucking pulp.

You look confused for all of a second before your face crumples. Wally shoots out of the driver's seat and hurries toward you. Gathers you in his arms as soon as you're within reach, and holds you as you shake. He rubs your back, soothes you with soft words; managing to simultaneously shoo the Uber driver away with a polite nod and a gesture.

"Are you okay?" He asks after a minute. "Do I need to kill him?"

"...No," You mumble into Wally's chest. "I already did that."

Wally grins, though it's sad at its edges. You shouldn't have had to.

"That's my girl," He murmurs into your hair after he places a comforting kiss on your head. "Come on. I'll drive you home."

You go without resistance, even allowing Wally to fuss over you and buckle you in. As he settles behind the wheel, he glances at you again and realizes, "Whose jacket is that?"

You press your lips together and stare at your lap, "I got cold... Besides, after what he did, I think I earned it." You end firmly, folding your arms.

"Did you take it before or after you kicked his ass?"

"After, duh." You say like it's so obvious, "We were inside before. But I didn't want to wait for my Uber in front of everyone who saw what happened. So...I made him give it to me."

Wally barks a laugh as he takes your hand, holding it in that platonic way, fingers not laced how he wants them to be, but he'll take what he can get. Your knuckles are scraped where they made impact with whatever part of Jake you punched. Wally smooths the pad of his thumb over them. Gentle. Loving.

"Where to, sweetcheeks?" He asks, "Home or ice cream?"

"Home." You decide with finality which makes it hard to swallow around the lump of disappointment in Wally's throat.

Call him selfish, but he hoped you'd want to let him comfort you. Regardless, he does as he's told and pulls away from the curb, pulling a uey to head toward your house.

‗•‗

On Monday, Wally finds Jake in the boys' locker room after swim practice, his black eye looking like it needs a twin. Wally punches Jake hard enough that even he sees circling birdies.

He shakes his hand as he leaves without a word, hardly feeling the pain through the smug satisfaction warming his belly.

‗•‗

It's the next weekend when you invite Wally over for a casual afternoon kick back. Games and snacks and Domino's on the menu for dinner. You're feeling better; spent the week oscillating between tense and weary, but that sweet sunshine glow you normally have is back when you answer the door for Wally.

You lead him to the basement, everything already set up: coffee table pushed aside for the nest of blankets and pillows on the floor, bags of gummy worms and twizzlers (Wally's favorite) and those Canadian chips you like piled on the floor beside cans of Dr. Pepper and Coke Zero.

Wally wore his cleanest sweatpants for the occasion, matching your chill vibe. And damn those low-slung yoga pants and that fucking tight-as-sin tank top, no bra because you love to drive Wally crazy.

"Ready to have your ass handed to you again?" You joke as you get comfortable on your side of the nest.

Wally claps back, "Hah! You haven't won in three months, sugarlips, what makes you think today's the day?"

You just smirk and hand Wally a controller, "I have a plan." And that's all there is to it. You don't elaborate, don't hint, don't give Wally any indication whatsoever what this plan might be.

Fishy...but effective. You're already in Wally's head. Hmm, maybe that's the plan? Wally shakes himself to attention and starts the game, grinning like a shark as he gets the lead right off the bat.

Just as he's about to cross the finish line, "So much for your pla—" when the world suddenly tilts sideways. He can't finish his thought, barreled over by your weight crashing into him as you grab the controller right out of his hand.

You squeal victoriously, the sound rebooting his brain, and he realizes what just happened.

"Hey!" He tries to grab the controller, but you hold it up and away from him, big smile on your face as the screen announces Wally came in dead last after his car smashed a wall he could've easily avoided. "Not fair!" He wraps his arms around you and flips you onto your back; presses his weight into you as he uses the advantage of his longer limbs to snatch the controller back.

Apparently not taking this lying down, you band your legs around his waist then surge up, somehow summoning the strength of five Wallys and rolling him onto his back again. Stunned, he stares up at you as you wave the controller victoriously.

"You were saying?" You chuckle, smug as ever, slightly out of breath.

Oh, but Wally isn't done yet, miss ma'am. He snaps his hands up, clamping his fingers for the controller which you arch your back to hold away from him, crying out when he takes advantage of your off-balance position to knock you backward. Once more, he has you squirming beneath him.

He grabs one wrist and then the other, transferring both into the grip of one of his large hands while he plucks the controller from you with the other. That's about the moment he realizes, uh-oh, he can feel your breath on his lips. Your face is such a beautiful shade of pink, and your thighs are on either side of his hips. Wally's body is completely flush against yours. All of him. Every. Last little bit. of him.

Wally should move. Definitely. He should move right now; just get off you and pretend everything's normal and you're not gazing up at him like that and his lips aren't so fucking close to yours, and the air hasn't been sucked out of the room that no longer exists around you and him because there's only you and only him and fuck. Shit.

"Wally~?" You say, voice a whisper tinged with something that makes Wally's cock twitch. Heat, maybe. Or need. You swallow, the sound audible, and, oh fuck, Wally watches your eyes flicker to his mouth then back, like you're finally on the same page, like you want it, too.

His hand flexes around your wrists, body settling more firmly on yours, and he stares at your face as he rocks his hips, just once, experimental, just to see what you'll do. He knows you can feel him, stiff and hardening further, all his inches against the heat of your pussy through your thin as fuck yoga pants.

Your reaction almost explodes Wally's brain. That sweet little whimper, how your eyes glaze over and your lips part; how you mimic the action with one of your own, sending sparks of electricity through Wally's nervous system.

"Fuck," He chokes out, grip loosening around your wrists, but not letting go. He drops the controller. Instead uses that hand to brush his fingers across your cheek and down the slope of your jaw. His breath mingles with yours, the heat in him rises, his heart beating a frenzied tattoo in his chest. Is he really going to do this?

"Please," You say, so soft, so perfect, that, yes, Wally is absolutely going to do this.

He gently bumps the tip of his nose against yours, smiles in wonder that this is really about to happen, and then slowly, to give you a chance to turn away if you don't want this, he leans in, stopping only to tease, "One more time, princess." His voice low and husky.

He feels you tense and then release before whispering, "Please, Wally..."

That's all he needs to lean in and kiss you for the first time, his lips capturing yours with years of hunger and desire and fucking love. So much love it threatens to go nuclear if Wally doesn't share the burden right this minute.

He moans, grinds his hips against yours, his cock throbbing against you, God, he needs you so badly. Has needed you so badly since he first discovered how his dick works and probably even before then. He lets his hand roam down down down, then up under your tank top, fingers caressing the soft shape of your breast.

You keen and arch into the touch, and, holy shit, he can't do this slow. Next time—please Jesus, let there be a next time—he'll do this right. He'll do candles and rose petals and Barry Manilow, but right now, he has to know what it feels like when you come around his cock.

His kisses turn urgent, his movements more hungry, and you match his crazy like a mirror. His shirt first, thrown behind the TV, then yours, tossed somewhere near the coffee table. Wally takes a second to admire your bare chest, licks his lips, and then descends, starving for a taste. He sucks your nipple, twirls his tongue around it, moaning as if it's the best thing he's ever had in his mouth.

Which, as soon as he peels your yoga pants off and resituates himself between your spread-wide thighs, he knows isn't true. This is the best thing he's ever had on his tongue. He spears it in and out of you, moaning and panting as he kisses your pussy deeply, brings one, two fingers into the mix; pumping into you over and over until you shake and beg and arch so fucking pretty for him.

"Fuck, baby, I need to feel you come," He groans, shoving his sweatpants and boxers off and throwing them somewhere to find later.

You agree enthusiastically, reaching for him as you hook one leg over his hip, the other over his shoulder—fuck, were you always this bendy!?—and cry out like a heavenly chorus when he drives his cock into you. Fuck, God, his eyes roll back in his skull, it's the most incredible feeling, an indescribable euphoria flushing through him from scalp to soles.

"You feel so...big, Wally, oh my god," You gasp when he begins to move, and doesn't that just rub his ego the right way?

He genuinely can't even find the brain cells to reply, too busy losing himself to the sensation of being inside you, finally, so much more intense than any and every fantasy he's had of you and him entwined like this.

"Baby," He moans, hips pumping faster, fat tip hitting your sweet spot over and over and over until he feels you tighten around him, hears you gasp, and then moan in ecstasy.

He wishes he could last, that he could keep going until you come again, again, again, but he's waited so long for this and it's overwhelming, he can't do it. With one, two, three more quick thrusts, Wally tenses and then groans, grinding his release into you; leaning down to take your lips in a feverish kiss.

As you and he recover, he rests his forehead against yours, releases your wrists—oops—and cradles your face in one hand, his most precious girl a vision in the afterglow. You shift, your hands on his jaw, and you're looking at him like the sun, moon, and stars.

"How long?" You eventually ask.

Wally doesn't need you to clarify. He knows exactly what you mean.

"Grade 4." The confession is terrifying and freeing at the same time.

He watches you absorb the information, nod, and then your eyes meet his when you make your own confession, "Grade 3. Ms. Houette's class. You made a joke about seagulls that was so lame it was funny."

Wally about short-circuits. He begs your finest pardon, but what was that? "Grade...3?"

"Grade 3."

"...are you saying that I could've been loving on you—" He emphasizes with a roll of his hips, winces from oversensitivity, "—since before I even understood what that meant?"

"I'm saying I've had a big, stupid crush on you since Grade 3." You say, innocent and solemn, "You take that however you want."

Wally chooses to forego the existential crisis and simply enjoy that he has you under him. There's a lot of time to make up for and a lot of fantasies Wally wants to bring to life, which you and he do with gusto until your parents get home and call down a hello.

It's only later, after stammering greetings and life updates over pizza, when you're snug as a bug in Wally's arms on the couch in the basement, dozing to the third Harry Potter movie, does Wally begin to mentally prepare for the speech of a lifetime that he knows Simon is going to deliver.

He already hears Simon's voice in his head: "I told you to talk to her—"

And Wally huffs a quiet chuckle, strokes your hair back, and kisses your forehead. Because, yeah, he should've. There would've been no pining, no pseudo-martyrdom, no Jake Tremblay.

It really is invaluable advice.

If only Simon would take it himself...

fin.

You Belong With Me 💙🏈📖

Wally clark x fem reader slow burn story

Summary:

After you witness Wally’s death you are confused, overwhelmed, and lost. And then tragedy strikes again. Then everything in your life as well as Wally’s changes and you met some new faces…

Part 3:

As you leave the field everything around you is a blur still in shock. Your mind is going a million miles a minute trying to come to terms of what just happened. You just want to go home and rot away listening to yours and Wally’s favourite song on your Walkman.

“Sweetie, could you go start the car? I need to head to the bathroom before we go home.” Mom says ever so softly knowing how fragile you are. Without saying anything you nod and grab mom’s keys, put on your Walkman and walk to the car park. You begin walking to the car music blaring through your headphones as you look down to adjust your Walkman in your pocket. Unbeknownst to you a car is speeding in the car park. A senior showing of his new car speeds in the parking lot and then BANG instantly collecting you. You get fling over the car and land directly on your head.

You slowly open your eyes and things are all a blur. All you see is the dark night sky and red and blue lights. You slowly get up; you see a big crowd in the parking lot all huddled in the middle and looking down at the ground almost as if they were looking for something.

“Y/N? Y/N” you hear your name being called in the distance. For a moment you thought it was Wally. You get up and walk over to the crowd of people and you try to make your way through. You squeeze past people, but they pretend you’re not even there. You make your way to the centre and see your mom screaming and crying and she’s holding something. You look closer and realise it you. Confusion instantly washes over you. How are you on the floor there when you were standing right here. “Mom, Mom I’m right here can’t you see me?” you say frantically. All the sudden the voice you heard before is right behind you. It was Wally. “Wally, what the fuck I just saw you die, how are you here?” “I don’t know. All I know is that I was playing the game then I woke up and I saw you and everyone over me in a circle. Then I saw 3 other people that I have never seen before talk to me and said I was dead.” Wally said still confused and worried. “Wait if your dead and my body’s over there and I’m here does that make me- “

“A ghost like me. Yeah.” Wally said as he cut you off. The world around you becomes a haze as you revel with the news that you are dead. That you now are a ghost and so is Wally and a bunch of other ghosts? “Huh what? I was just there listening to our song how could I be dead?” Another man with two girls walk to you and he extends his arms. “I know you two must have a lot of questions, come with us and we will talk about it.” The man in the suit that looked something your Uncle Henry would wear. “I know you guys must be scared; I was too when I first found out I died. Trust me it gets better.” The girl with red hair said as the other girl next to her with the paper boy hat didn’t say a word as she directs you and Wally back into the school.

You and Wally and the others walk into school as the man introduces himself. “Hello, Mr Martin. I like to formally welcome you both to your new life or should I say afterlife” Both stunned to what Mr Martin just said. “Hi, I’m Janet and this is Rhonda.” The girl with the red hair says as she holds her hand out to shake which both you and Wally do. “I suppose we don’t need to give you a tour since you went to this school” Mr Martin laughs clearly trying to break the silence. Neither you nor Wally laugh.

“Um yeah hi, nice to meet you all but what are we doing here? If we are dead, aren’t we I, don’t I know supposed to be you know in heaven?” You snap back at Mr Martin as Wally just stands there quietly. “That’s the thing with this school we have no idea why we are trapped here, we just are. If you try to leave the school grounds you get, put back to where you died.” Mr Martin explained ignoring your snappiness. “No, that ridiculous what do you mean we are stuck here?” Wally expressed as he pushes his hair back with one hand and the other on his hip. “It means quarterback if you try to leave school some force, we don’t know about pushes you back to the place you died” Rhonda snarled already bored of the conversation. She walks off down the hall towards the teachers’ lounge. “Ignore her, she gets a bit cranky when she has to explain what has happened to us to new people.” Janet says as she turns to you. “Wait others? There’s more ghosts?” you express. “Yeah, I know it’s a lot, but you will be ok.” Janet says as she starts to walk down the all the same direction Rhonda went.

You and Wally are confused as you look at each other in shock. This is really happening, you and he are dead, there are other ghosts that haunt your school, and you can’t leave the school grounds because some force will send you back to the spot you died. “Well, I’ll let you get settled, its already late and I have to prepare for our group session tomorrow” Mr Martin says and walks away before either of you could respond.

“This is bullshit, they can’t tell us what to do. I’m leaving this place. Are you with me?” Wally raises is voice with furry. “Wally, I think they were telling the truth that we can’t leave.” You respond calmly not wanting to start a fight between you too. “We need to figure that out ourselves. I don’t trust them, not just yet. Please Y/N, come with me.” He looks at you eager for you to respond. You not knowing what to do you agree with him. He’s right who’s to say they are telling the truth about all of this. You had to make sure of it yourselves. “Ok Wally, I’m with you. But maybe you should change into something else besides your football uniform” “I think I have some sweats and my varsity jacket in the boy’s locker room.” Wally says and you and he start walking in the direction of the boys’ lockers. You wait outside and wait for him to change. Once he’s finished you both decide to head to the main entrance of the school and try to leave whatever nightmare you both woke up in., he takes your hand as you reach the end of the school property. You both at the same time walk across and… bam you are by yourself starting up at the sky in the school parking lot. Great just great you thought they were telling the truth that means Wally is on the football field you get up and run towards the field and you see Wally was already running towards you. “Well, I guess they were right, we can’t leave. This is so fucked” Wally expressed as you finally met. “It’s ok Wally, I’m scared too but I think we have to learn to trust those guys. By the way they are dressed they look like they have been here for a while.” You respond back and worry washes over you still in shock and in disbelief that this is happening. “Ok your right. Let’s go back inside and find somewhere to rest because I sure as hell I’ve got a lot of questions for them.” Wally says in a calmer tone then before.

You both head back inside and then Wally remembers something. “Hey Y/N, you said before the homecoming game you wanted to tell me something, what was it?” “Oh, umm it doesn’t matter I was just going to ask if you wanted to go to the diner after the game for some ice-cream before we went back to your place.” You respond back. That was the quickest you’ve ever come up with a lie before because now is not the right time to tell him your feelings when you both are so vulnerable right now. He nods not saying anything as you continue to walk around the school trying to find somewhere to rest… wait do we even need to rest if we are dead? You keep that thought to yourself as you and wally head to the library remembering there’s couches there.

Wally clark x fem reader slow burn story

Summary:

It was finally the big homecoming game, and you were about to tell your best friend that you are in love that is until tragedy strikes leaving you heartbroken

Part 2:

It was finally Saturday which means tonight’s the homecoming game and the day you tell wally you are in love with him. The day went by like a blur and you were getting ready for the big game but not before a phone call from Wally.

“Hey, Y/N you ready for the best homecoming game of your life!” Wally expressed basically screaming through the phone. “Geez Wally that was loud, and yeah it’s going to be a great game” you said shyly hoping Wally wouldn’t notice that your voice is begging to shake. “Sorry Darling, I just hope I will do my mom proud” he expressed as his tone changed. “Of course, she will be Wally. After the game I want to talk to you I have something kind of important I want to talk about” You replied. “Yeah, sure thing, meet in your spot?” Wally said a little curious to what you want to talk about. “Sure, Wally, I’ll see you there.” You responded as you hang up to phone stomach full of butterflies so nervous but knew you were ready to admit your feelings to him. You get dressed in black jeans, a blue sweater and one of Wally’s old lettermen jackets he gave to you and went downstairs to meet your mom and Sister to leave for the game.

You arrive at school and head to the football field and get your seats. You see Wally on the filed stretching, and you lock eyes. You feel the butterflies in your stomach ease as soon as you see him. You held up a thumbs up and mouth ‘You got this” and just like that the game starts. Yelling and screams surround you normally making you uncomfortable but you didn’t care you were there for Wally and that’s all that matters.

The first half of the game went quickly and its already half time the Devils are winning, and you can’t help but feel this overwhelming sense of happiness as you see Wally score a touchdown. The crowd is full loud and screaming with joy of such a great game, and you can’t help but to also join in too -something you never do but this time felt different-. As the cheerleaders finish their cheers the players head back on to the field.

“Clark has the ball and he’s running fast looks like he’s wanting to get his first touchdown of the game. He’s almost there and BAM down goes Clark, that tackle looked bad” The game announcer yells over the PA system as the crowd goes quiet. You start to immediately feel dread wash over you and you feel numb. “This isn’t looking good for Clark he’s not moving” The announcer continues but all you feel is worry as his team and coach surround him and you see the coach hold up the time out signal. More worry washes over you. You jump out of your seat and bolt onto the field not caring if you will get yelled at. You run like you’ve never run before until you reach him lying on the ground lifeless. “We need a medic stat” Coach yelled as the team all gasp and are in shock. You get on the ground, hands on his chest wanting to feel he’s breath. Nothing. “Wally, Wally can you hear me? I need you to wake up please wake up” You cry as tears stream down your face struggling to breath. You feel the medic lift you up to check on him. The medic looks him over and says “I’m sorry but he’s gone. His neck is snapped it would have been instant” Numb all you feel is numb as you watch Wally, your best friend maybe even the love of your life on the floor dead. You fall next to him again and scream out in pain. Sobbing and barely even breathing properly “I… I was going to tell him. Why did this have to happen why” You can’t keep it together his team and more people crowd around you. You feel your mom hug you from behind. “Oh, my sweetheart I’m so sorry.” You turn and give her a full hug and you look around wondering where his mom is. “Where is Wally’s mom?” you say confused as you thought she would be with you crying over him. “She’s over there talking to the medics and waiting for the cornier to come.” Mom replies softly. You look over and you see his mom in tears as she talks to the medics. Mom though hesitant tries to get you off the field “No mom, I don’t want to leave him please, let me stay with him until the cornier gets here.” You tremble as you take his hand still warm. Without saying anther word your mom gets up and leaves you there with him. You don’t even notice that the team is gone already. The game is over, and everyone is already making their way home. Still in shock over what happen in your head you tell yourself. “I can’t believe I never told you how I felt, I should have a lot sooner. The pain of losing you is consuming me. I don’t know how I will carry on my life without you by my side. I love you, Wally Clark.” More tears stream down your face and don’t even notice the cornier has arrived to take Wally. “Goodbye Wally” you say as you choke on your words never thought would have to those words ever. You walk to your mom still crying and numb.

You Belong With Me 💙🏈📖

You Belong With Me 💙🏈📖

It's here! My first ever fan fiction story is live! Part 1 is below and I really hope you enjoy it. Im also still learning stuff so bear with me as I figure it out :) Wally Clark x fem reader Y/N

NSFW: eventually there will be smut but i will share which part has it in advance. This is a slow burn story between Wally and Y/N like really slow but trust me it’s worth it 😉

Story Summary:

You and Wally, best friends since birth, you decide to confess your love at the 1983's homecoming game. After a tragic accident, you remain with Wally and other ghosts for eternity. 40 years later, you decide it’s time to finally admit your feelings until someone else asks him out.

Part 1 Summary:

You and Wally have been best friends since birth thanks to your moms also being best friends. You and Wally are experiencing senor year together talking about your future at collage and talking about the big upcoming homecoming game. After keeping a secret from him since Junior year, you decide to tell him after the game.

Part 1:

You and Wally have been best friends since birth. His mom and my mom are best friends, and we are even born 5 days apart. Wally had always been there for you even though he was sometimes annoying, but you wouldn’t have it any other way.

Fast forward a couple of years and we are in our senior year of High school and absolutely dreading collage. Not that you weren’t a good student or anything you were always top of the class. You knew what you wanted to do and that was to become the next best-selling Author. You had a passion for literature and been dreaming of becoming the next Angela Carter. You just dread change always have and always will. Wally on the other hand already had a scholarship for football his mom is so proud, but you could tell deep down that he was holding something back. Something he hasn’t even admitted to himself.

You were sitting on the bleachers reading your book and watching Wally and the football team practice for the big homecoming game on Saturday.

“Y/N did you see what I just did? That was gnarly!” Wally yelled as he came running over to you, all sweaty and gorgeous. Unbeknownst to Wally you have had feelings for him since Junior year of school, but you were too scared to tell him. “No Wally, sorry I was reading, but I’m sure it was good” you said as butterflies exploded in your stomach. You have no idea how you’ve kept yourself together around him for so long.

Wally sat in front of you in the bleachers to have a drink from your water bottle because you always carry one knowing he always forgets his. “Good? Y/N that was the best play the coach as seen! You have to take a break from reading and watch me, please?” He gave you that look, the same look that he’s always used to get you to do whatever he wants. “Ok fine. I can’t stay much longer it’s getting late; you know how my parents get when I’m late for dinner” you say putting your book in your bag. “CLARK! Get your butt back on the field” The football coach yelled at Wally landing all eyes on you. “I’ll see you later, ok” Wally said as he got back onto the field.

You sit back and begin reading again until you are distracted once again. “He’s never going to love you Y/N. The quarterback and a nerd that’s tragic. He will eventually drop you and want to hang out with me instead” Amy snares as her and her bitchy friends laugh clearly trying to hurt your feelings. “You know what Amy; I don’t need him to love me like that I know he does.” You reply back confidently. “Besides Wally doesn’t like girls with a big ego like yours.” As you get up to walk away you can hear Amy and her friends gasp at you and you can’t help but to let out a little giggle.

As you leave the bleachers you can see Wally at a distance and hold up your hand into a phone near your ear singling you will call him later. You see him nod and walk to your car. As soon as you get home you are interrupted by your little sister, Mary. “Did you finally tell Wally you are in love with him already? You guys will be like the ultimate power couple of all of Split River High!” You sigh “Mary geez can you talk quieter? I don’t want Mom and Dad to hear” You sling your bag on the bottom step of the staircase. “Oh sweetheart, we already know how you feel for him.” Your mom chimed in from the kitchen. “I the only one who doesn’t know is Wally himself” She added. Lovely just lovely, somehow everyone knows about my crush. “Wait. How do you know? Did you say something Mary?” You said annoyed at your sister. “Sweetie, it’s so obvious how you feel. Its cute. Two best friends since birth developing feelings and falling in love. Now that’s a romance story I would read!” Mom said giggling with Mary. “Ok cool I’m going to wash up and we won’t talk about this more” you slurred leaving the kitchen to head up to your room.

You thought as you entered your room. Maybe it was time to admit your feelings to Wally. He could feel the same was as you did. Or worse he doesn’t, and you ruin your only friendship you’ve ever had. The thing about yourself you liked to keep to yourself. Got all your schoolwork done and wouldn’t dare be seen at a party unless it was one that Wally through. You and him are the complete opposite in the social scene but you somehow worked not because you were desisted to be friends by our parents by because you and him got on so well. Screw it, I’m telling him after the homecoming game. You thought to yourself as you walked back downstairs for dinner.

Wally Clark was the Split River Devils’ best running back. He also was the only reason you’d waste your time at a football game. Since your freshman year you hadn’t missed a game. You were always there in the stands cheering him on even though you were pretty sure he had no idea you even existed.

Wally knew you existed, in fact he relied on you as his good luck charm. He had heard your voice cheering him on above everyone else. He didn’t know you then but he searched for you in the stands after that first game. Thankfully you always sat in the front row and he had to force himself not to look at you from the sidelines.

There was something about you that pulled him in. He hadn’t talked to you afraid that he’d mess it up and you’d be gone. He needed you at the games, you were the only one constantly giving him encouragement. His mom rarely commented on anything good so it was a nice change.

He made it his mission to get to know you. So after his first game as a senior he had managed to work up the courage to talk to you. He quickly changes out of his uniform and left the locker room to hopefully catch you before you left.

He checked the stands and then quickly ran to the parking lot catching you walking to your car. You had drove the two hours to the away game by yourself and he wasn't letting you drive home by yourself. "Hey Y/N wait up!" He ran to your car as you had opened the drivers side door. You turned around to see Wally standing a few feet from you out of breath and wearing his signature letterman.

"Um hi. Great game! What can I do for you Wally?" you fumbled out awkwardly, twiddling your thumbs. "Did you drive all the way out here by yourself?" Wally asks curiously. You chuckle nervously "Um yeah I guess I did." "Can I ride home with you?" He asks politely giving you that award winning smile.

"Yea of course! Let me make sure my passenger seat is cleaned out!" you smile walking around and opening the door moving your bag and a few other things to the back seat. He waits for you to round the front of the car and get seated before closing your door. He tosses his bag in the back seat before situating himself in the passenger seat. "You didn't wanna ride the bus back?" you ask as you pull out of the parking lot.

"Just didn't think it was safe to let you drive back home this late and I wanted to get to know my number one fan." He teases you. You giggle and your cheeks turn rosy. "Your number one fan huh? Getting a bit of an ego are you?" you tease back. He smirks at you taking in your side view, admiring your fluttery lashes and the cute Devils gear you are wearing. "Aren't you though? I've seen you at every game." Your face gets even more red as you glance at him.

"I do enjoy football and you might be apart of why I enjoy it." you shrug. His smile widens and he blushes hiding it from you. "Are you hungry? I was thinking about stopping at a diner or something?" You ask looking over at him waiting on the red light to turn green. "Starved actually. I'm always super hungry after a game. To the diner!" Wally rubs his tummy animatedly causing you to laugh loudly smacking your hand over your mouth embarrassed.

You pull into a cute little diner called "Sweetheart Suppers". The neon sign flashes pink as Wally holds open the door for you. You find a booth before ordering your drinks and scanning the menu. You order a cheeseburger and fries while Wally orders chicken strips and tater tots. While you wait for your food to arrive Wally shameless flirts with you and mentions that he has looked for you at every game.

You look at him shocked "Every game? And you think I'm your number one fan? Okayyy." you tease him. He smirks "I never said I wasn't a fan of you Sweets. I am a big fan actually. Been trying to get up the courage to talk to you since freshman year besides for an extra pencil." He rubs the back of his neck nervously. "Well I'm flattered. What took you so long though?" You smile at him soothing his anxiety. "Well I didn't want to screw it up. You are kind of my good luck charm." He shrugs at you.

"I'm your good luck charm? How?" You ask curiously. "Um. This is kind of embarrassing but you are the only one that positively comments on my game play. Coach and my mom only criticize me. I really need your cheering to keep me in the right mindset." He mumbles out fidgeting with his hands. You reach across the table and grab his hand rubbing it with your thumb gently.

"I will be your lucky charm anytime you need Hon. I love watching you play." You smile at him keeping his hand in yours as you eat with the other. "Are you flirting with me Gorgeous?" Wally teases trying to break the tension. You smile up at him. "Maybe? What are you gonna do about it?" you tease. His eyes darken as his tongue drags along his bottom lip. He grabs the waitress to get the ticket and pays for the both of you much to your protests.

He walks you out to your car grabbing your hips as he pushes your back against the door trapping you between him and the car. His hands move from your hips to rest besides your head. He leans in pressing his lips to yours gently at first until you kiss him back. You kiss back, hands grasping onto his shirt holding him close to you. He pulls back resting his forehead against yours breath hitting your lips. "Fuck I want you in the worst way Sweets." He groans out.

You look up at him pupils blown wide and darkened making his heart race. "Maybe we should go somewhere more private then." You practically beg. "I don't think I can wait. Want you now. Can I fuck you in your back seat Princess?" He whimpers pushing his hips against yours. You nod up at him, moving towards the back door. He yanks it open helping you in before clambering in after you. The door closes and he's glued to you. His lips trail down your neck, kissing and sucking as he goes, stopping when your breath catches paying extra attention to that spot. He nips at the spot before smoothing it over with his tongue.

You push his letterman off his shoulders and tug at the bottom of his shirt until he pulls it over his head. He reaches for the bottom of your shirt looking up at you for reassurance before ridding you of it. He kisses your lips before pressing them between your breasts and across your collarbones. Your hands are in his hair and feeling the corded muscles of his back whimpering at the sensation of him and his lips on you.

He sits you up slightly unclipping your bra before gently pulling it off of you. He lays you back down stopping to take in your breasts breath catching in his throat at he sight of your hard pierced nipples. "Fuck Sweets you are full of surprises." You giggle at him the giggle turning into a moan as his lips latch to your nipple his hand groping the other breasts before switching. You whine hips lifting to grind up into his, his hips buck against yours causing him to moan around your breast a shiver crawling up your spine.

He continues covering your tits in hickies as his hand trails down popping the button on your jeans before slipping his hand in them cupping your pussy through your damp panties. "Please Wally." You whine needing him to touch you. He hums against you before pulling back to help you out of your jeans and panties. His eyes lock on your wet folds, licking his lips before pressing a kiss to your mound. He brings his hand to drag slowly through your center before rubbing your clit in a slow circle. His other hand reaches to press into your lower stomach holding you still as he watches your face contort into pleasure.

He continues his slow torture his fingers sliding down to pump into you slowly. You let out a gasp as you clench around his thick fingers. After making sure you are ready for him he brings his fingers to his mouth moaning around them before saying "Princess as much as I'd like to eat your delicious pussy I am gonna bust if I don't get in you soon." Wally whines out. "Fuck me please." You beg him.

He groans out before shimmying his jeans and boxers down freeing his pulsing cock. He look down at you "I think I have a condom in my wallet." You shake your head no. "I wanna feel you. All of you. Please. I'm clean and on birth control." The though of feeling you wrapped around him with nothing in between you does something to him, his hips jerking causing the head of his cock to bump into your clit. A shutter coursing through the both of you.

He reaches down dragging the red tip of his cock up and down your slick before slowly pushing in. You let out a whimper as he groans out bending down to kiss you roughly. He sinks into you inch by inch, his thickness feeling like he's splitting you in half. A strangled cry pours into Wally's mouth. He gives you a minute to adjust to his size the only movement the twitch of his cock. "Am I good to move Princess?" he grunts out. You not your head before he shakes his telling you "Words Princess. Need you to say it." You whine at him needily before he gives you a pointed look. "Wally please fuck me now. Need you." you manage to whimper out before his hips pull almost all the way out before bottoming back out inside of you. You scream out "Wallllly." He grunts into your neck as he keeps the pace up.

He leans back and settles his hands behind your knees bringing them to your chest before plunging back into you. He's so deep you can feel him in your throat. A loud moan leaving your mouth as he leans froward to capture your lips as he drives into you. The only sound is your skin slapping and the wetness of you. He pulls his lips from yours briefly to say "Fuck baby you feel so good. You are taking my cock so well." You whine before leaning up to capture his lips again as your nails drag down his back.

He grunts into your mouth at the burning sensation your nails leave. He moves so one hand is pressing against the back of both of your thighs holding them up as the other wraps around your throat observing your blissed out face before pistoning faster into your cunt. Your eyes roll back, the only sound leaving your swollen lips is a pitiful whimper as he ruins you. He grunts as he feels you tighten around him spasming around his cock.

You writhe under him getting close to the edge of release. "Gonna cum." You say as a broken whisper. His hand tightens as he fucks faster "Gonna be a good girl and cum on my cock?" He says in a deep gravelly tone sending you over the edge, toes curling eyes rolling. You spasm around him, hips jerking as you soak his cock with your cum. He groans out hips stuttering as he thrusts for his last time stilling himself in you as he fills you up. He slowly releases your legs allowing them to settle on either side of his hips before pressing his forehead to your breast bone catching his breath. You run your hands through his hair gently scratching at his scalp in a soothing way.

He leans back after he collects himself pressing a kiss to your lips before gently pulling out of you an empty feeling settling over you. A whimper escapes you as he does. He presses a kiss to you before helping you slip your panties back on. "Do you want to put your bra back on?" He asks picking it up. You shake your head no before allowing him to pull your t-shirt over your head. He grabs his letterman helping you slip it on before helping you pull your jeans up. He then redresses himself before helping you out of the backseat.

You stumble around sleepily and sore causing Wally to chuckle at you. "Do you want me to drive us home Lovey? Fucked you too good." He kisses your cheek and nuzzles his head into your neck. "Yes please." you mumble through the yawn that escapes. He helps you over to the passenger side and helps you get cozy making sure your seatbelt is on before hopping into the driver side.

You are leaned back in the passenger seat turned towards him looking at him through sleepy eyes. "Its okay. I'll wake you up when we get back Sweets. Go to sleep." He says gently resting his hand on your thigh, rubbing it gently. He watches as your eyes drift close admiring how sweet you look all curled up in his letterman after he just ruined you in the backseat. Fuck he might be in love.

I need a guy that I love more than the fictional ones. Until then I will remain pining over non-existent men on Tumblr.
