“My parents are very selfish and I have to thank them for that because I’m selfish enough not to have children. Because they were so self-involved, for most of my life I’ve wandered around like a kid lost at a mall just screaming “mommy!”, “daddy!”. I didn’t talk to my father for years but it solved nothing ‘cause I was living in the anger. At some point you’re just gonna have to realize that they’re not going to be the parents you want them to be. That window has closed. You’re going to have to accept them the way that they are and learn how to parent yourself.“

Dos
1. Talk about things that interest others, and not just things that interest you.
2. Share the conversation. Don’t talk over others, interrupt others, or seek to be the centre of attention.
3. Be interested in what other people have to say. Ask open questions, and try to find out more.
4. Notice when people do well, and make the effort to praise them for it. Try to be an affirming, and encouraging, friend.

6. Think before you speak. (Sometimes it’s better to say nothing than to speak your mind and upset or offend).
7. Learn how to ask for what you want and need in a non-threatening, and non-defensive way. Don’t react; and don’t pick needless arguments.

9. Look out for others – and be a trusted friend
10. Back off, don’t dominate, and give your friends some space.

5. Don’t try to control other people, or to make them do what you want them to do.
6. Don’t talk, or gossip, about others.
7. Don’t make jokes at others’ expense.
8. Don’t demand perfection – allow your friends to be human, and to sometimes make mistakes.
9. Don’t be sensitive and quick to take offense.
10. Don’t be mean or stab others in the back.
What are your top beauty tips?
Start out perfect and don’t change a thing. Always accentuate your best features by pointing at them. And conceal your flaws by sucker punching anyone who has the audacity to mention them.
Great heroes need great sorrows and great burdens, or half their greatness goes unnoticed. It’s all part of the fairy tale.

We mostly agree that Will is very similar to Sarcean — he can’t tell the truth to save his life, he’s sneaky, calculated, smart, and we can’t forget his thing for blondes. But if that’s the case, how similar is James, simply personality-wise, to Anharion? How does that impact the story? James is capable of so much spite and anger and viciousness, especially at betrayal, what does his almost romantic feelings at the memory of Sarcean mean?
