This is so important.
Okay, but if Raz is canonically wearing some of Sasha’s old clothes in Psychonauts 2 now, that really just reminds me of that old Memory Reel from the first game where Milla is wearing the dark-suit-and-sweater combo and Tim and Scott joke in the commentary about how she was wearing some of Sasha’s clothes… maybe that’s just a thing Sasha does??
If you’re part of his little pseudo-family, he doesn’t care, clothes are just clothes, and if you need them more than he does, they are yours.
Going from "we're the voice of peace, and bit by bit we will change this world" to "dragons are waiting for us to learn how to get along" is such a downgrade.
Can someone explain to me what the heck pastamonsters is/was? When I look at the tag it seems to be mostly Jeff drawn in like a very specific style and I'm obsessed with it, don't get me wrong, but I need to know just what the heck this whole pastamonsters thing means.
T.I.A, from a clueless fandom veteran
I saw a post that @nightfury-2001 reblogged about an interpretation on what Toothless drew. It made me curious as to what others saw, and I eventually came upon this:
Thoughts?
jeff the killer would listen to every problematic band he knows. mindless self indulgence especially. some of you guys aren’t ready to accept that tho.
i mean this dude is like what 13?? boy just learned what slurs are of course he’d listen to msi. don’t be a coward.
Wait what app is that? How do you know your reading time?
Soo... how's that chapter going for you?
not done yet
Never really paid attention to Hiccup's face in this little part here. I've always watched Toothless and his reaction to the idea of finding more of his kind. Heartbreaking stuff, that.
With that being said: that facial expression on Hiccup is PERFECT. There's something so sad about it. It's frustration and desire, but it feels most like a confused yearning - why hasn't this worked yet?
This is the one thing that keeps getting away from both of them; all their exploring, all their charting the world together, and they haven't found another Night Fury yet, not even on accident. Hiccup Haddock, the dragon lover and conservationist he is, isn't just worried about potentially finding Toothless's family. He's not only sad because his friend has no kin -- he looks worried here. Troubled.
There's an entire species out there that's completely unfindable. And he just doesn't understand why.
And after he makes this expression, his very next sentence:
-"So, what do you say? Just keep going?"
Because, really, what else can they do?
.
The most frustrating and confusing scene of the movie, rewritten and in screenplay form.
Brought by yours truly. Enjoy~
When thinking about scenes in the movie I could potentially rewrite, this one was the first to come to mind. It was so anti-climactic and felt so stale, I knew I had to give it a shot first.
I really thought that Toothless simply inching towards Grimmel in the film seemed so out of character and, honestly, just like a really bad move. Light Fury flying TOWARDS the danger she smelt was stupid as all get out, so of course I had to change that.
I think I took a big risk in having Toothless be the only one captured. I'm not sure how much I like the concept, though I'm proud of how I executed it. I feel like I improved Toothless's attack and brought back some of his true character in having him FLY at Grimmel, not just stalk towards him.
There are things here I'm not too happy with myself, but at least I can confidently say I believe that I breathed some life and tension back into this scene.
