I’ll never understand why anthropomorphic animal cartoons like Robin Hood and Zootopia will go to the trouble of creating character designs that are meant to be understood as “attractive” or even “sexy” to the human audience but explicitly avoid showing interspecies romances between anthropomorphic animals. Why is THAT weird but, like, trying to make rabbits recognizably sexy-coded to humans isn’t?

But Future FNAF AU, the robots and AI live among us. Still controversial and highly debated whether they should have any rights as people or not. Half of the time still seen as property and has to be claimed as such on paperwork for tax purposes, when living with their human friends/besties/partners/spouses/found family/emotional support Y/N.
But communities are growing and so is a niche market. Self help books and how-to manuals written by humans living with their Animatronic AI soulmates, books on maintenance that includes the care of the AI’s mind and feelings too, how to guide them through understanding the world and its humans and how to best keep their mechanic bodies in tip top shape.
Psychology books on robot care and trauma.
And equally the animatronics start writing too, for the sake of giving sources for the animatronics like themselves.
