When Pokemon Go first started I wanted to be an NPC. I walk my dogs at least three times every day and people would be able to challenge me just like a NPC trainer in the games. I would only use Cat/ Dog Pokemon, and which Pokemon I used would depend on which dog I was walking. Unfortunately, Pokemon Battles weren't available in those early days, so over time I set my sights on a different goal. I decided to become a gym leader who used Cat, Dog, and Fox Pokemon. Anyone who beat me would get "the beast badge", which looks like a fusion of the three legendary Beasts.
Thinking back to Republic City..... If it's a fusion of Earth Kingdom and Fire Nation Which represent China and Japan respectively.
Then maybe Republic City should represent a country that has both Chinese and Japanese influences. Maybe Korea or Hong Kong. Though I'm not sure if you could consider those countries a fusion a China and Japan.
Anyone from there have an opinion?
Personally, I think “Avatar: The Last Airbender” was better than “Legend of Korra” for one specific reason, which I hope you'll agree with.
ALTA was able to achieve its full potential Whereas Korra never got that chance. (Do you agree or disagree. Post your thoughts below.)

I’ve always thought Sokka with his hair down looked like James from Team Rocket. Wonder if they could cosplay as each other.
I've been playing a lot of "Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" and this is my idea of what a "Bionicle Version" would look like. You'd go to the different temples to gather each element, and the Nuva Gauntlet would change color depending on what element you're using.
How big is the ocean on the other side of the Avatar world?
We can find out how big the ocean on the backside of the Avatar world is by using these maps from LoK. According to my calculations, the backside ocean spans from about 140 degrees to 220 degrees, making it 80 degrees wide. This is about a quarter of the globe. To put this in perspective, the backside ocean would proportional be about the same size as our Pacific ocean.
Maps are from LoK S3 ep 2 & 11 respectively.
How would a person actually find out they have the ability to bloodend and if it's possible to know without training to do it.
Of the four bending arts Waterbending is most versatile and adaptable. After all, it is the Element of Change.
Waterbending is also the only element where most people can learn ALL the subtypes. (Provided they spend the time to learn.)
So to answer your first question: Most waterbenders have the ability to bloodbend but also need three things:
A deep understanding of the body and its anatomy, which is usually gained after becoming an expect healer.
Immense bending strength. Bloodbending works by dominating the water and Chi in another person’s body. A bloodbender must be strong enough to overcome their victim's Chi.
The Full Moon. Most waterbenders do not have the strength to overcome another person's Chi, therefore they need the added strength coming from the full moon in order to bloodbend.
All in all, bloodbending is a master level ability which can only be learned by very strong or master waterbenders.
As to your second question: 'Can someone know bloodbend without training?"
Answer: No. Bloodbending requires too much skill to be done by accident. (Just like you can't accidently do Calculus.) It's a skill that has to be learned and developed.
Apologies for taking so long to reply.
Combustion bending is one sub-set of bending I’d love to explore more. I think it’s possible for other firebenders to do a smaller version of it.
Personally, I think Mike and Bryan get too much credit for what was really a team effort. A good team balances out each other's weaknesses. While making Avatar, Mike and Bryan were balanced out by other great writers. However, Korra was mostly made by Mike and Bryan, so any personal biases they might have don't get edited out.
Taking all the glory also means taking all the shame.
I’m so happy to see all these Avatar related animations. This one is of Aang Earth Bending by Renan Nunes.
