Just as you welcomed your daughter into the world you ended up passing out, luckily enough your baby girl was healthy and the doctors amounted your fainting spell to sheer exhaustion although they did need to run some tests on you and etc , kicking Caleb out of the room while doing so .

Caleb’s foot taps nervously hands clenched waiting for the clear to go back in, as he sits he notices Jenna, Tara and a couple of your other friends searching around.

“ hey guys, rooms over here” Caleb waves.

“ excuse me sir , you’re clear to go back In” a nurse politely informs Caleb.

He nods nervously “ thanks so much”

Your friends funnel quickly around him carefully but swiftly running over to coo , and ahh at the baby.

Dad!Caleb always wants to have the baby in his arms. They're so small and delicate. The only place that they're truly safe is in his arms. Most of the time, he'll hold them so lovingly. Other times, he'll hold them like a football.

Dad!Caleb likes to match his outfit to the baby’s clothes. His favorite thing to do in the morning when he doesn't have to wear the colonel uniform is pick out what the two of them are going to wear. They're a matching set wherever they go.

Dad!Caleb added a new locket to his necklace. It’s got a lock of the baby’s hair from their first haircut in it.

Dad!Caleb loves and hates that the baby is exactly like him. They whine when you’re not around. They always want your attention. He understands why, after all you’re amazing, but he also wants to spend time with you too! He’ll get over it...probably.

Dad!Caleb watches the baby’s shows with them. You’ve found him laying on the ground during tummy time staring blankly at bouncing fruit sensory video before. That's when you know he needs a break.

Dad!Caleb hates that he can't be around as often as he wants. He has you facetime so he can see you and the baby whenever he has free time. There's so many close up pictures in his phone of the baby from weird angles. He loves all of them.

Dad!Caleb cries when the baby starts crying to confuse them and make them stop screaming. It usually works. He always looks smug when it does.
