Here's Scarecrow... I'm not entirely happy with him but I did this in a hurry so he'll have to do lol. I had a weird idea of making have a short pointy hat but like,, the edge functioned like a 40s fedora?? Idk if that actually worked but there you go.

I'm definetely a little obsessed with the relation of old horror movies with the fears of society at that time/the current events they were inspired by, and I tried to design Scarecrow with that in mind. Kind of obviously war in the 40s so I gave him a military inspired trenchcoat, but I also heard a take once that the scarecrow idea represents poverty, raggedy clothes and poor farmers and the like, and the Great Depression was fresh in the back of everyones minds at this point. Rationing during the war as well!! I'm using my last brain cell to write this so I hope this makes sense lol. That's it bye :)

Also - to elaborate on to this, I wasn't planning on adding fantasy creatures in the world that this would be taking place in, but damn... it's so tempting to just stick a unicorn in there SO if they did exist they would be essentially immortal, although they could be killed. They'd be smaller than a horse, like pony-sized, but look slightly different, more like a generic ungulate. Their hair would be kind of coarse and bushy and hang over their eyes, they'd also have feathering around their hooves. Their tails would be extremely long and have a floof at the end. I'm thinking they're also omnivores, as I think the idea of a creature symbolizing beauty and purity also having sharp teeth and the ability to eat meat is kind of. yeah absolutely why not! Idk how magical they are but they have some funky abilities I guess 👍

I've been hyperfixating SO BAD this week my brain is actually melting aghshddjdj.... I'm onto something with my princess and knight I swear.......... anyways I got stuck on unicorns yesterday and I already have an unhealthy obsession with the Unicorn Tapestries, so I wanted to make a piece inspired by that with the princess from a previous post :)

I found this picrew with really pretty Regency/Napoleonic era designs, I thought it would be cute if we make ourselves as ladies of the Napoleonic court! (sadly there isn't a male version so it's just for fem-presenting folks I'm afraid)

Above is my attempt at making myself, I need the outfit so bad (yes I am going for a historically accurate hairstyle because I am no coward!!!)

archery outfit for the girl 👍 not 100% sure about it but its there

edit: forgot to explain hehe, this is something she threw together out of clothes in the royal stables or whatever, so it's kind of a mismatched assortment of things. The braces are padded to protect her from the arrows, and the cowl is for pulling around her face in case she wants to not be recognized. Also wanted to include colors because I feel like a lot of people (movie producers........) ignore that ye olde "grimy and greyscale" medieval times was actually very colorful :)

fyi I have more vintage batman villains in the works!! I'm planning on doing riddler, catwoman (redesign), ventriloquist maybe, poison ivy maybe, robin also maybe???? thoughts and suggestions welcome <3
