Im not good at explaining things, but one of the things that I like to do when using watercolours is just playing around and mixing colours. Mixing greens with yellows and blues to indicate lights and shadows, or mixing brown with blue to make a muted blue/gray and stuff. I like messing around and seeing what happens, its a very experimental medium (which is what makes it so fun)!

I hope that makes sense and helps you, even just a little! Also I feel it important to acknowledge that Im not naturally talented with watercolours, I took an art class for 4 years straight in school and there was always a watercolours unit.

Im posting some more from yesterday, because it was really fun playing with watercolours for the first time since like two years ago.

I previously couldnt find shiori experience chapters beyond 80 (still cant but that not too bad, im reading other stuff), and only now I do find out that I cant find chapters BEFORE 80 either 😭😭 not even the raws

The Pen/Pencil Parallels????

Like how the two of them have abandonment issues what with all of their friends leaving them somehow (Pen's being voted out, Pencil's being voted out or not wanting to rekindle their frienships)

pen is about to lose it: "I just can't lose anyone else!"
liy's there to console him: "it'll be okay"

pencil driving the supervan: "Why should I care about you guys when you clearly dont care about me?"

Like how Pen has friends that are there for him and will let him be vulnerable to express his anger and let it out, while Pencil doesn't think she does and is grasping at straws to maintain some semblance of normal (ie being a leader, but shes so many issues that simply reverting back to "leader-mode" isnt mixing well with her "i cant do back there" minset, leading to her to sacrafice her teammates )
