CotL related Doodles

Here’s a couple of doodles I did that I wanted to share.

Doodle 1 is Calambity’s first husband, Hugre. Hugre, while not Cal’s first follower, was one of the earlier ones and was the loyalty enforcer before Thornono. He and Cal were genuinely in love but Hugre didn’t like the idea of living forever. He also didn’t like the idea of Cal having to be alone so he waited until he felt there was someone who would be able to keep them company.

Doodle 2 is just some self-indulgent NariLamb art. I really don’t know how to draw kissing and I get super embarrassed every time I do draw it :/ I still did want to draw them kissing tho.

LeshyXCat Kids

I decided to finally sketch out Leshy and Alna’s kids!

I’ve been taking a tiny break from art because I’ve been very tired lately :/ but I’ll hopefully be getting back into it.

I don’t have much to say about the art tho.

Traditional Drawings

Hey this isn’t my typical post as of late but I wanted to post something today but I didn’t really have any art ready :/

Anyways I got into collecting these little guys, they’re from the Downy Miracle Night series, and got quite a few duplicates so for fun I drew up some designs in case I wanted to customize them.

The first three we’re drawn in March and the last one was drawing yesterday. The first one, the ruin, is just the ruin from Starbound. In March I got super into Starbound again. The second one, woods fox, I did just because I really like foxes. The third one, milk bone, I did because it’s got sort of puppy ears and such. The last one I didn’t bother coming up with a name for because I really wasn’t feeling it :/ The last pic is just to show what they actually look like.

I don’t have all of the ones from the Miracle Night series, I’m missing 6 but 2 of those are super super rare so I’m not even going to bother. I am still going to try to get the other 4 I’m missing eventually.

He really likes Pikmin so I wanted to draw some Pikmin for his birthday. We even got him Pikmin 3 Deluxe!

Narinder Ref

I decided to redesign my version of Narinder because I wasn't happy with how I was drawing him before. The biggest things I wasn't happy with was his head and clothes.

My version of Narinder has dermatillomaina which mostly affects his arms and shoulders, because of this he usually has bandages over his arms and prefers to wear long sleeved robes.

I definitely didn’t give Narinder dermatillomania because I probably have it and I definitely didn’t give it to him to remind myself to talk to my doctor about it. Definitely.

I showed these off on my Instagram story but I thought it would be nice to share them here too.

I bought POSCA pens yesterday and I was testing them out with some doodles.

Sorry for making you all wait an extra day, I was too tired to type out all of this :/ If your wondering what the second pic is, it’s the path that Calambity and Narinder walked while they were talking.

Anyways, what did I learn over the course of making this comic?

1. I really need to properly plan out my comics so I know what I’m getting myself into.

2. Comics become a lot easier to draw if your characters are fun to draw.

3. I should probably have a reference for each character open while drawing.

Overall I think I improved a lot in terms of drawing out comic and writing dialogue. I’m happy with how it all turned out :3 I do have another comic idea in the works but I think for that one I’ll post all the pages at once so it maybe take a bit and I may disappear while working on it.

Narinder’s Charm (Vampire Au)

Here’s just a practical drawing I did of my VampAU Narinder’s charm thingy.

Practice in the sense that I want to get better at inking in and colouring my traditional drawings. It was very fun, even if I had to bust out my ruler and protractor. It’s especially hard for me to do clean line art traditionally because I have very shaky hands. The second pic is just the drawing with more saturation because I am limited in my markers and pencil crayons. The third pic is just to show what I mean by charm thingy.

I hope you guys don’t mind the filler post as I finish the final page of the Confessions and Apologies comic.

Just one more page to go! I don’t really have a whole lot to say about this page :/ I’ve been really enjoying Ace Attorney Investigations, I love the silly little gay lawyers! I also really like looking at the character art and animations.

Mother of the Lamb

Hey got some art for you all!

This is just a small doodle of a AU idea I had where instead of the Lamb becoming Narinder’s Vessel it’s their mother. But in order for this to make sense I think I should give a bit of backstory and a bit of a timeline.

My Lamb was born in the last remaining sheep folk(?) settlement and lived there for about 7ish years with their mother, father and two older brothers until the Bishops found the settlement, killing the majority of the sheep folk and scattering the rest. Of the Lambs family only their mother and themselves managed to escape. While there were other survivors who travelled with the Lamb and their mother, eventually the two of them were all that was left. On the Lambs 17th birthday they were found by the Old Faith and their mother sacrificed herself in order for the Lamb to escape. The Lamb lives on their own for 11 more years until the day after their 28th birthday they were captured by the Old Faith and eventually brought before the Bishops to be executed.

Now that we have the basics of my Lambs backstory let me explain where this au branches from this. Everything is the same up until the Lambs mother gets captured and executed. Instead of waiting for/choosing the Lamb (not sure exactly how this works yet) Narinder chooses their mother with the idea that she’d have more motivation to kill the Bishops as revenge for the death of her husband and children. The Lamb is still alive and escapes but does not reunite with their mother, believing that she’s dead. Their mother goes on to form the cult and goes after the Bishops but the closer she gets to killing all the Bishops the colder she acts towards not just the heretics but also her own followers. At some point during her crusade against the Bishops, Narinder brings the Lamb to his realm (or is it the afterlife? Idk) as insurance against their mother in case she decides to try to betray him. She eventually defeats the Bishops but upon returning to Narinder she betrays him with the belief that he would kill the Lamb even if she returned the crown. After defeating Narinder, she decides not to kill him but also not to bring him to the cult, instead she keeps Narinder prisoner in his realm. While she does bring the Lamb to the cult, the Lamb is terrified of her and her cruelty towards Narinder and runs away from the cult.

That’s all I’ll give for now since this is a massive wall of text. I probably should have shared the Lambs backstory before so I didn’t have to have two walls of text :/

Explanations

Sorry again for the wait!

I replayed deltarune instead of working on this :/ Anyways just two more pages to go. After I finish the comic I think I’ll adjust Narinder’s design and maybe make refs for my interpretations of Heket and Kallamar, we’ll see.

Guppy Mini Comic

Tada here’s a silly mini comic about Goatwin and Redetan’s child. I guess she’d be called a guppy (goat + puppy) Anyways I promise I’ll get back to the Confessions & Apologizes comic now, I just wanted a bit of a break.

Orobas and Vasago

I really don’t draw these two as much as I want to, especially Orobas, like I have so many cute little comic ideas for these two but then I never get the motivation to do them :/ Anyways, Shamura totally makes all their outfits. When they were first born? hatched? appeared? (Still not sure which) Shamura made them many baby clothes. I imagine Shamura was very excited that their little brother was having kids.

Lambsona (proper)

I mentioned on my Instagram that I was struggling with the colour palette. I ended up combining the Lamb and the Goat’s colour palettes and I gave him Nori’s eye colour. I went with the name Dreamur because of my username and as a tiny nod to undertale. Is he a sheep? A goat? A geep? A mysterious creature of unknown origin? Nobody knows! I forgot to draw the crown but he’d probably wear it as a regular crown.

I’m very tempted to make him my profile pic.

Hanahaki Rinor

Here’s a Hanahaki au Rinor :3

This is a slight variation from a normal Hanahaki au. With this one as the disease progresses flowers will start to grow out of the chest along side flowers growing in the lungs.

In this au Rinor is aware of Jalala’s crush on the Lamb and believing that she has no chance, she decides to hide her feelings and try’s to encourage Jalala to confess to the Lamb. In Rinor’s mind, she’d prefer Jalala be happy with the Lamb than be miserable with her. The flowers that grow from Rinor are roses which is extra painful because of the thorns.

Guppy Mini Comic

Lambsona

I decided to draw a proper lambsona :3

What I mean by proper is that I’ll actually use this as a lambsona. I’ll probably redraw this digitally because I think I ruined it by inking it in :/ But for now here it is. I don’t know if he’s really a lamb or if he’s just a mishmash creature masquerading as a lamb. I took inspiration from my sona Nori because I love Nori, he is my everything :3

Apologizing

Finally Narinder apologizes! Probably not good to self deprecate while your apologizing but it’s been a while so he gets a pass. There’s probably just a couple more pages to go and maybe a few bonus things :3 Anyways my version of Narinder has dermatillomania which causes him to mainly pick at his arms to the point where he usually has to have his arms wrapped in bandages.

I got to say I’m very happy with how the re design for my Lamb is going, before it was a bit of a struggle to get the head tuft thing right but now it’s easy :3 Anyways the Lamb and Narinder are finally going to talk out their feelings yippee!

New Lamb design

I decided to slightly redesign my version of the Lamb because I haven't been very happy with how they looked for a while. I also finally came up with a name for them and finally chose their gender :3 It's very hard not to call this a Lambsona because I do base a lot of my interpretations of the Lamb on myself but I honestly don't fully feel comfortable calling this a Lambsona. Anyways I'm very happy with this design even if it sort of reminds me of Link.

Cowboy

Finally came up with a new design for the Goats Narinder. Although his name is Redetan instead. I don't know if in my au type thing they'd actually meet but they would not get along at all. Narinder can very easily see through Redetans friendly façade and Redetan would despise Narinders moodiness. The irony of Redetans nickname being "Red" isn't lost on me :3

I thinking of doing something special for Cowboy :3

This one I had a way easier time with doing. I had a very clear idea of what I wanted to draw and all that :3 I did start to get a bit lazy with the background and the enemies tho.
