Work in progress: Small Rangda Bust
I found some small Presidential busts at the local thrift store and decided to use them as bases for making some small busts of Rangda and some other figures from Indonesian culture.
I wanted to practice working small as a change from my masks because I am considering doing some 1/6 scale figure customs. Consider this a study I guess. More pics as it progresses.
I am planning on adding the hair and adornments later on.
I plan on molding this when it is completed, although, I may have to mold those big tusks separately.

Chibi Predator digital model kit by the amazing Willy Kao. Painted by me using enamel paints.
I had a lot of fun painting this. The details and quality of this figure are truly amazing! It is solid resin giving it a nice, solid little heft. I used tamiya translucent red mixed with smoke to get the blood on the skull and blades. I am very happy with how it turned out. It even has a natural gloss to it, making it look like a nice wet, freshly skinned look.
Figure is available through Kao’s Etsy shop: Digitalmodelkit
Work in progress on a new minor monstrosity specimen.
Trying with this one to get a translucent look to the stomach so you can see the guts through the flesh.

One of my favorites, a digital work of Ganesh. Pen and ink line-work, colored digitally using actual skin textures from elephants.
Under my bed and in my mind, early morning is a strange time to find.
