(Listen with sound!) After over a year working on this it's finally finished! My first full length animatic!! My two lil guys Acorn and Thimble are finally out in the world doin' their silly little things. I'm so incredibly proud of the fact I managed to finish a big project where so many have failed before. (To the point where I had to physically restrain myself from redoing the first bit because I wanted to get this done lmao) I hope you enjoy!
DTIYS for @the-lantern-lights!! If you couldn't tell, I almost never draw wolves so this one was,, a time to say the least. But it was super fun!
I love all 10 feet of my son and he is perfect
ft SeΓ‘vin because I think they would be friends
From the @fusionlads au!!
A few sketches for Thimble's updated design! I don't draw animals a ton, so I'm pretty happy that my somewhat creepy amalgamation of them plus goop turned out okay
Drew a character for a secret santa art exchange. This is Soup (owner is dummie ?) a woman who was cursed with cat ears and is now seeking revenge. Filtered and unfiltered versions included for convenience!
πβοΈπβοΈ for the artist ask!
Thanks for the ask!! Q: When did you start drawing? Do you remember? Beyond the basic everyone doodles to some extent, I started focusing on drawing in the summer of 2020 when I randomly decided to do a 100 day challenge out of pure boredom. Almost managed to do it too!
Q: Do you prefer traditional art or digital to relax? Digital art unless I'm specifically in the mindset to do mindless doodles. Those ones are always the most satisfying with lined paper and a pencil. Sometimes ya gotta go back to the roots
Q: Do you use more warm or cold colors? I think I tend to use more cool colors? It's hard to say, but given the choice I tend to stick around the blues/purples/pinks. Which is technically more cool than warm ig
Q: Do you do warmup sketches before drawing? (Bonus: do you have any to share?) Whenever I do full pieces I'll usually thumbnail a few ideas for composition reasons and stuff, but I rarely do full warmup sketches. Or sometimes I'll do disparate concept sketches for character/prop design beforehand, but those might be hours or days apart from the main drawing. For example, here's some design/expression practice I was doing for a character!

for the wip game, may I ask about Pipe Fields?
Of course! So basically the concept for this came to me while I was on a camping trip with some friends and saw an abandoned front half of a drainage pipe sitting in the middle of a random field as we were hiking. I think that's what they're called anyways, the things you see popping up by small creeks and stuff that just lead into a dark tunnel in the ground.
Point is, I really wanted to draw a post-post apocalypse scene featuring this with maybe some lil mutated creatures hiding in places where it wouldn't immediately be obvious to the viewer. Plus! I've been practicing my backgrounds recently, so this seemed like a good place to try and do one without a direct reference. It hasn't been going... great per se, so I'm taking a break from it for a bit until I'm not insanely busy and I have some more inspiration for it.
She is paying thousands of dollars for this
