This is a spell to help free yourself from whatever binds you or holds you back.
Materials:
black candle
black ribbon or cord
Light the candle. Wrap the ribbon loosely around your wrists and hold them out in front of you. Say the following:
“I have been bound by _____ (name of the person, bad habit, old job, an experience, or whatever it is that bound you), But no longer willing am I to be, I let it/him/her go and walk away, And so it is that I am free.”
When you have finished reciting the spell, allow the ribbon to slide off your wrists. Dispose of the ribbon somehow – burn it, bury it, etc.
As many of you probably know, I am a very curse-friendly witch. If someone is out to harm me, or is willing to harm the people in my circles, I can and will curse them.
I will not curse people for no reason of course, and neither will I curse the people that have done small, insignificant things. As such, my curses are strong, and usually pretty fierce. I have learned a thing or two about protecting oneself when casting curses, and I thought sharing a few of these things may be helpful to you all :)
This is the first post out of four in which I will be giving advice and personal insight on methods of staying safe before. during, and after cursing. I hope they help you and keep you well!
Set up a nice protection system ahead of time.
Even if you’re not someone who uses curses, it’s a good idea to have barriers and enchantments set up just in case. You never know when you might need them. It’s important to feel and be safe, especially when you’re doing something a bit risky.
As some of you may have realized, there can be backlashes when you curse. This can be caused by a number of things:
the witch you are trying to curse has reflective protection
you made a mistake when casting
someone decided to curse you with whatever curse you placed upon them
You have some unresolved negative energy acting somewhere in your life, and it is triggered by the curse
In all of these scenarios, protecting yourself from harm is a great plan. If the curse does happen to backlash or something goes wrong, it will be diffused and your hide will be saved. I have been hit hard with a reflected curse more than a few times, and all of them happened when I was lazy and decided not to set up protective barriers.
So being protected is nice and all, but it may seem like something that is complex and hard to understand. I’ll break down a method that is pretty simple and easy to follow.
I like to start off my shielding spells with a list of what areas of my life could use some protection.
Things like the self, your home, your career, your relationships, etc. are all pieces of your own little world that definitely need to be guarded. Figure out what you want to place little bubbles around, and write it all down. Keeping the list for reference is something I personally recommend, since I tend to forget, and it could be useful later. Looking at my lists always makes me feel secure.
After you’ve done this, research what type of protection you want to use. Reflective, neutralizing, or offensive are three different types.
Reflective protection just means that whatever curse or energy is directed towards you will be reflected back at the sender. It is usually a bit varied on intensity; the more effort you put into the shielding, the more imminent the reflection will be. But if the sender has a good system set up, they may not be affected at all.
I find that this type of protection is best used if the person you are going to curse will figure out that you are cursing them. I don’t recommend using it for pre-curse protection unless you specify that it must originate from an outside source. It takes a lot of energy, but is worth it for the witch-on-witch curses.
Neutralizing protection neutralizes the backlash/curse directed towards you. Whatever runs into the barrier is made into neutron-esque energy, not really positive nor negative. It works like a shield, and is nice for cursing backlash worriers. I like to use black tourmaline as small neutralizing charms, so that may be a way you can protect yourself. It is my personal favorite pre-curse protection method.
Offensive protection works on the offense; any curses that are trying to reach you are automatically countered with a stronger, more brutal curse. I like to add a reflective protection within offensive protection, since it does twice the damage. But again, be careful and specify where the offense will be directed to.
Now that you’ve got all that information sorted out, you can choose some spells to use! You might even like to blend and mesh a few of them together to create a super protective shielding system, closing all the holes and back doors. Don’t leave room for someone to get to you if you can help it.
Once you find something you believe will work, or have written it out, get to work gathering supplies.
Clean up your house, cleanse anything you feel is holding stagnant energy, and get prepared. I like to take a day of rest in between this stage and the actually protection rituals, but I have done it one after the other in the past, and it does make me feel more focused. (You’ll use a lot of energy, but as long as you feel like everything is good, you should be alright) Burn some sage, scatter salt, and ground yourself. Take a deep breath, and continue.
Finally you can do the rituals!
Spend time and work hard on them. Do the things that make you feel safe, and put all of your protective energy out there to work for you, and get yourself ready to curse. Feel confident in your own abilities as you do this. You are a strong witch.
Here are two protection spell masterposts to give you inspiration:

Take a break. Let yourself cool down so you can curse using as much energy as you want. Do some self-care rituals and surround yourself with invigorating things.I enjoy drinking a lot of gem elixir/moon water during the week leading up to the day I curse (careful with the crystals you use! some are toxic, or dissolve in water). Adding energy to your food is another good idea.
Check your system for breaks or possible weak spots. Reinforce these places with more spells until you feel comfortable. Now you can begin planning your curse and feel safe doing it :)
Hopefully this was helpful and indepth! :D I am writing the other three parts now, and hope to have them out very soon ^_^
This was useful at one point a couple years back.

Just as the title suggests, this is a very simple spell to garner truth from the one who conceals it. This is very straightforward and requires few ingredients, though if you wish to delve deeper and put forth a bit more work, I recommend appealing to Rahab, who can find truth in any matter or a Pomba Gira Cigana.
Salt
White Fabric
An envelope (or bottle)
Solomon Seal Root
Violet Stems
Take your white fabric and cut it into a shape vaguely resembling a tongue and mark thereon the above symbol. While performing the following, proceed chanting the following incantation:
Through the mirror I see – Through the cloud I see – Through the mask I see – Speak it.
Place half of the violet stems horizontally upon the symbol side of the tongue and the root atop the stems, then roll the tongue into a “scroll.” Tie it up and place it into a small envelope that has been primed with powdered Solomon Seal and violet stems as well as enough salt to cover the scroll once within. Allow this to “marinate” for 3 days, as which time retrieve the “scroll” and wear it about the neck as a visible charm. Use the remaining powder to dust the tracks of he/she you wish to be honest with you.
Although candles are a relatively modern part of magic, they are now a significant one. In candle magic, the candle is often dressed before it is burned.
Dressing can include some or all of these steps:
Cleaning the candle of unwanted energies
Filling the candle with the intent of the spell
Carving information on the candle, especially identifying information if the candle represents another person
Rubbing special oil on to the candle
Adding powdered herbs on top of the oil (big chunks will burn!)
Adding additional decorations
In ceremonial magic such as Wicca, dressing a candle may be very ritualistic and have specific rules. Refer to your tradition to figure out the correct steps. In folk magics or intuitive paths, think about your goals for the spell, what the candle represents, and what feels right to you.
Should all candles be dressed? No, I don’t think so. Sometimes a candle is a small sacrifice (of goods and effort) and simply burning it is the right thing to do. If you want to light a candle to honor an ancestor or spirit, I don’t think it needs to be dressed.
Is this list comprehensive? I doubt it. These are just the common ones I know about.
Fire hazard? Magic is a part of nature, it does not defy nature. Magical candles are not less likely to set things on fire. If you’ve never dressed a candle with oil or herbs, do a test run first to see if it will ignite. No candles should be allowed to burn without supervision, so if the spell calls for the entire candle to burn down, consider choosing a small one for the spell. That being said, if you are going to leave a candle by itself anyway, keep it in a big dish filled with sand or water (that is sure to catch the candle if it falls over), at least 2 feet away from all fabrics and walls.
Candlesticks and carvers. The candlesticks or holders that you use will be soaked in the energy of the spells you cast. Give them a good washing to get the wax off and a nice spiritual cleansing to get rid of the ‘leftovers’. Likewise, whatever you use to carve in the candle is a miniature wand that will be imprinted with whatever you send through it. Consider using a disposable tool like a toothpick and throw it away outside.

Sweet, red strawberries are often used in spells for innocent love, friendship and happiness; as well as bringing out the sweetness in a person or situation. On the other hand, the luscious strawberry is a well known aphrodisiac, and can be used to stimulate deeply passionate, and sensual love relationships. As with all magick, the outcome is set by the intention. Used (sparingly) to draw fortunate circumstances into one’s life.
Lucky Charm Spell:
You’ll need:
An iron locket (if possible, other metals are acceptable)
1 strawberry leaf
Chamomile tea (and a towel)
4 star anise
Green salt (grind together sea salt and basil)
Bloodroot powder
1 green candle
Cast your circle, tracing the outline with bloodroot powder: at each watchtower (east, south, west, and north) offer a star anise to each element and place them at each quarter. You may use your own words, but here is an example of how to address each element:
“Air, please blow away all negativity and leave only positivity.” “Fire, please burn a bright light and illuminate me for luck to find.” “Water, please flow like a river and help luck streaming in pure.” “Earth, please grow good happenings and lucky blooms.” In the center of the circle, wash your hands with the chamomile tea. This is to wash away bad luck which may be lingering and to encourage everything you touch to become lucky. Pat your hands dry with the towel if you want. Take the iron locket and rub it down with the green salt to purify it. Say as you do this: “With this green salt, I rub away negativity and leave positivity and luck, and harm it none so mote it be.” Light the green candle and hold the locket in the flame. Say: “With this fire, I create a beacon for luck.” When cool, put the strawberry leaf inside. Rinse off the green salt with the chamomile tea, and meditate, focusing on channeling lucky energy into your new charm. -NOTE- Do not use anything you may be allergic to. Remember to snuff out the candles after the spell has been cast with wet fingertips or a candle snuff: blowing out the candles may undo your magick. It does not have to be a locket: you may use anything metal which can hold a strawberry leaf inside. The best time to do this spell is: Sunday, dawn or noon, in spring or autumn, when the moon is waxing or full. -TIP- Do the spell when it’s raining so you can make the chamomile tea from rain water. Also, the rain can help wash away any lingering bad luck.
