i have not stopped thinking about this goodreads review for a MOMENT since i read it. it pingpongs in my head at all times. yesterday i walked into the kitchen and i realized i hadn't washed the pot from the night before, and said coldly, "the work of a sad little man who needs to see the ocean." unreal. i know i am changed.
I really enjoyed rereading this series recently with my gf. It's so cute and wholesome, and really good coffee propaganda actually. Also! The audiobook is so fun! I love that the author got to do all the voices 🥰
imagine if you were the angriest, most passionate hater in the universe, and you died(?) and a pagan god-like figure (that you've been worshipping) who is hellbent on revenge possessed your body, but the process of possessing you gave her amnesia, and some really nice people who love you took care of her, so instead of being fueled by revenge she was fueled by love. then she grows out your hair in a sacrilegious way because she thinks you look hotter like that
