Urgent! the deadly cold is threatening our lives. 😢💔

The fierce winds have torn apart the roof of our tent, and heavy rain has flooded everything around us. Now, we live in our torn tent, with my little child shivering in my arms, and my sick mother in law struggling to withstand the biting cold that pierces our fragile bodies.

Every night, I wake up terrified multiple times, placing my hand on my child’s chest to make sure he is still breathing. The thought of losing him tears my heart apart with every passing minute. After seeing the news about children who died from extreme cold, the fear for our lives has become more real and frightening than ever. 😭💔

Your support has been the only reason we have survived the hardest times of our lives, and we will forever be grateful to you kindness. 🙏💚 Thanks to a kind-hearted person, just a few days ago, we were able to purchase a tent that filled our hearts with joy and hope during this difficult time. I'm not okay.

I don't sleep, I don't eat, I don't breathe like other people do.

I just count what's left of me... and wait.

Will I die today? 😭

Will a missile fall on me and end this pain once and for all?

Will I lose my son, still swimming in my belly, searching for a beating heart, a small dream, a chance to survive?

My husband has severe pneumonia, and hepatitis is eating away at his body day after day. His ability to breathe is no longer what it used to be, and his chest pain wakes him up terrified. As for me, all I can do is wipe away his sweat and hide my tears.😭

I watch my loved one wither away in front of me, and I don't have the money, the support, or even a safe place to rest my head. We count his breaths in prayer, hoping he'll hold on for another day... that someone will come... that someone will hear us. 💔😭

@abdalsalam1990 is the same age as my youngest brother. Nader is only seventeen years old and living through a genocide. He has taken the responsibility of working hard every day to reach out to people online and spread his family’s story, in hopes of raising the money they need to survive with the rapidly increasing food prices in gaza, his father Ahmed’s cancer treatment, and eventually save up enough to evacuate so that Ahmed can get the treatment he needs to survive his illness. This is a huge task and difficult work that no one should ever have to do just to survive, and especially not a teenager. It’s so much responsibility on his shoulders, at an age where he should be hanging out with friends, going to school and preparing for his future, not fear for his life every day. But of course he continues to do it because he loves his family and desperately wants to bring them to safety. Nader has hopes and dreams for the future, but this genocide has taken so much from him, and this is his only chance to live the life and future he deserves.
