Hey @impossiblerebelblaze, @turquoisemagpie, And @belladonnachaos. I’m A Very Small Blog On Here, But

Hey @impossiblerebelblaze, @turquoisemagpie, and @belladonnachaos. I’m a very small blog on here, but my friend really needs help to take care of her cat. I hear and see so much good from your communities, so I figured it’d be worth a shot to ask you all for help. Even if you just reblog this, it would mean more people can see it, and my friend could get the help she needs. Anything you could do would be amazingly appreciated.

Just to press my luck farther, @therealjacksepticeye and @markiplier, if you guys could lend any support, We would both be unimaginably grateful.

Hello, my name is Danica and my cat Tiger really needs your help.

Last Tuesday Tiger became very sick and was acting strange and after several vet visits, we discovered he had accumulated a wad of hair in his stomach and developed pancreatitis. He’s already undergone 2 surgeries and has been under 24-hour watch at a specialty vet but the costs are much higher than we’d thought and we’re doing our best to make ends meet but the longer he stays for the surveillance he needs to recover, the more difficult it is. Tiger is my life. He’s my sunshine and he’s saved me so many times. When I cry he runs to my side and on the days I don’t feel like life is worth living and it’s not worth getting out of bed he’s always beside me. I don’t know what I would do without him or where I would be, and I would do anything to help him like he’s helped me. All funds would go to his hospital bills and treatments. We’ve made due with what we could but the numbers are increasing on the daily for help he desperately needs. So all donations will go to pay off his costs over the last few days and any future costs. I’ve set the goal lower than the current costs I need to pay for any overflow will still be going to help him. As for anyone reading this and offering their help with either a donation or a share, I would be forever grateful, it would truly be a blessing and any and all help would be appreciated. It would really mean so much to me I would be eternally grateful if you could help me save my cat.

I'd love to help get a game like this off the ground. I loved the first game and have been dying for a sequel

Anybody wanna make a Fanmade TWAU S2?

Ive had this idea sitting with me for months now…

I thought like this could be a 2d visual novel with point and click aspects, because development wise it aint mind-killingly-hard, and since thats sorta what the og game was. But hey i aint limiting it to just those two genres.

I even wrote like a third of a script but im no amazing writer (more like a visual arts gal) so i have a couple of ideas.

Basically, i think its wrong that there are fans who waited all those 6 years and will get nothing out of it. I wanted to make a game for the fans by the fans. And maybe if this game is any good we’ll inspire some official company to pick up the series.

So I just wanna see if people are up for it in general, and if so then we can do application stuff for like artists, writers, programmars, musicians, and if possible but really not a must voice actors.

If this post does get a response, and u wanna be notified when (if) applications start then just comment saying that u wanna and I’ll tag u once the official post is up. But for now just wanna see what the response is, so ya.

This is surprisingly relivant to me right now because my new boss is the type to do this

Since once in a blue moon I actually discover a decent rule for adulting, and since I know I have followers a few years younger than me who are just entering the workforce, I want to tell you about a very important phrase.

“I won’t be available.”

Imagine you’re at work and your boss asks you to come in on Saturday. Saturday is usually your day off–coming in Saturdays is not an obligation to keep your job. Maybe you were going to watch a movie with a friend, or maybe you were just going to lie in bed and eat ice cream for eight hours, but either way you really, really don’t want to give up your day off.

If you consider yourself a millennial you’ve probably been raised to believe you need to justify not being constantly at work. And if you’re a gen-Z kid you’re likely getting the same toxic messages that we did. So in a situation like that, you might be inclined to do one of three things:

Tell your boss you’d rather not give up your day off. Cave when they pressure you to come in anyway, since you’re not doing anything important.

Tell your boss you’d rather not give up your day off. Over-apologize and worry that you looked bad/unprofessional.

Lie and say you’ve got a doctor’s appointment or some other activity that feels like an adequate justification for not working.

The fact is, it doesn’t matter to your boss whether you’re having open heart surgery or watching anime in your underwear on Saturday. The only thing that affects them is the fact that you won’t be at work. So telling them why you won’t be at work only gives them reason to try and pressure you to come in anyway.

If you say “I won’t be available,” giving no further information, you’d be surprised how often that’s enough. Be polite and sympathetic in your tone, maybe even say “sorry, but I won’t be available.” But don’t make an excuse. If your boss is a professional individual, they’ll accept that as a ‘no’ and try to find someone else.

But bosses aren’t always professional. Sometimes they’re whiny little tyrants. So, what if they pressure you further? The answer is–politely and sympathetically give them no further information.

“Are you sure you’re not available?” “Sorry, but yes.”

“Why won’t you be available?” “I have a prior commitment.” (Which you do, even if it’s only to yourself.)

“What’s your prior commitment?” “Sorry, but that’s kind of personal.”

“Can you reschedule it?” “I’m afraid not. Maybe someone else can come in?”

If you don’t give them anything to work with, they can’t pressure you into going beyond your obligations as an employee. And when they realize that, they’ll also realize they have to find someone else to come in and move on.
