🌿 Numeron Week | Day 5 | Prompt: "One Thousand Days" (actors au)

That's right, I am bringing these types of au posts back.

Throughout filming for ZEXAL II, the writers' room was said to have been a constant mess. Which, according to internet gossip, was due to a tyrannical producer constantly changing plots and storylines.

In years-later interviews, the actors mentioned that it got so bad at points, there was an entire full episode which got dropped on the cutting room floor.

The episode's script was titled "One Thousand Days" and was a flashback, lore-heavy episode depicting an earlier rendition of Astral and Don Thousand's enemy origins.

Jaime Sinclair (the actor for Astral, may he rest in peace), was known to have kept showing a certain blooper reel from the lost episode while on press-tour.

Apparently, Eric Wills (Don Thousand's actor) kept leaning in very close during certain intense scenes, which would cause Sinclair to break character.

The infamous blooper depicts such a scene; where Don Thousand is monologuing to Astral and ends up leaning too close -- at which point both actors break, laughing. Sinclair is heard saying "I keep thinking he's (don thousand) gonna kiss him (astral)", and Wills responds "Yeah, fuck, I guess he wants to".

oh yes *rubs hands like a super villian* I'm so glad you asked.

They're very different when it comes to music.

Astral likes dream pop and new wave. His favorite band is Cocteau Twins, which is pretty old even for the early 2000s. Yuma makes fun of him saying that type of music was from when his grandma was in highschool.

Yuma likes more trendy stuff like nu metal and punk. His favorite band at the moment is Static X, which made their debut on 1999. Astral says his music is noisy and the lyrics are stupid, but still bought him a cd as a birthday gift anyway.
