Maybe some Myth x Lucette angst? "092. Die for you"?
092 - Die for you
'I would die for you.' Why was that sentence deemed so romantic, used as a declaration of love, when the reality about it was so terrifying?
Myth had never said these words, never indicated anything in that direction. They both hadn't known, what exactly was going on between them. Unsure, how to define it, fearing how pushing it further may change it into something suffocating.
She had never said these words either.
But during that one moment were Alcaster had managed to break free from the fight where Karma and Fritz were trying to subdue him, set in his decision to make the reason for his coup failing disappear-!
Lucette had only noticed what happened when the blood was already soaking through her clothes and Waltz was pulling her away so Rumpel could go about his work.
And now, she was damned to wait, listening to weak breaths, hoping he would wake again and not just stop breathing at some point.
Myth and Lucette sibling like interactions please?
I wasn’t quite sure what to write on the matter, but in the end I went for ‘older sibling being stuck with supervising a younger sibling‘
Myth wasn’tsure what was happening right now. He had just been looking for a quiet placeto study and the garden seemed like a good choice! It was a warm day, but too cloudyto be nice and people were fearing the rain and so they were trying to stay inside. And no one ever thought about looking up, so climbing onto the tree had madethe whole situation even safer.
He hadn’texpected the maybe ten-year-old princess to be hiding between the hedges and-after having seen him climb up- trying to follow him in a similar way. Notwanting to risk his queen’s wrath he had grabbed her and pulled her up, whenshe slipped.
“Alright, princess, you managed to follow me,” he admitted calmly, forcing back aheadache at seeing the girl smirking triumphantly. “But do you also know how toclimb down?”
The smileslipped and the girl glanced down, before looking back at him.
“…help?” sheasked quietly and Myth was sure, somewhere, someone was laughing at him. And lettingher stay up here to learn her lesson would displease his queen…
Letting outa sight, he resigned himself to be unable to study for until he managed tofoster the girl off onto someone else. Beware her climbing up another tree andbeing stuck up there again and being too prideful to ask someone else for help.
019 - Snow
Myth had a split opinion on snow. Yes, it was pretty and shiny and watching it fall had something serene to it. Something calming.
But that was only the case when you had the possibility of warming up somewhere, of changing into dry clothes and having a safe place to sleep.
Before the queen had taken him, Myth had dreaded the arrival of the snow. It was a sign of the cold weather to come, of snow sticking to fabric and melting, turning warming clothes cold and wet, needing ore layers to stay warm and some of the hiding places tuning uninhabitable.
Years later, clothed in thick coats or behind windows with a fireplace warming the room, Myth watched the snow with indifference. It was there, it would go away. The only danger it brought him now was hiding slippery ice patches, blocking paths or someone daring to throw snowballs at him.
hii jdjsksks so happy to see this blogg love mythros so much <333 if you have the time, could you write a drabble about mythros’s interactions with varg/fritz ?
Well, here it goes.^^Just a bit of Varg in this one.
Myth wantedto curse. Preferably Alcaster into oblivion. Pity, he needed the man’sresources or he would arrange an accident. Or a sickness, depending on thecircumstances.
As it was, heneeded to make due. Like always with the man. A bit more common sense or a bitof foresight past the tip of his sword would do the man some good, then hewouldn’t need to clean up these kind of messes.
Clack. Clack. Clack.
He glared atthe source of the sound and the black haired young man gave him a smile thatwas more showing teeth than smiling. But then wolfs didn’t smile, only baringtheir teeth at possible threats.
But Vargstill stopped clacking the cane against the floor and Myth turned away to lookat the map again marking another area off.
The soundrestarted.
“Can’t you goand bother Alcaster?” he finally snarled. He could force obedience with theleash he had built into the curse, but Alcaster was doing well enough aboutagitating the wolf and he didn’t want to be the first target if the curseshould fail him.
He would havepreferred using a more tailored curse, one that couldn’t be broken by accident, but Alcaster had bound his hands on the matter, by only calling him in afterthe convincing failed. And then there had bern no time! And so afairytale curse needed to do, casting eased by the template his queen hadworked into the Crystallum.
Well, depending on the princess thought on the curse and her attachment to theknight, he could at least claim that it kept the boy from getting killed. Pitythat even memory spells took preparation and he had been in no position tosimply let the knight disappear for a few days.
“He told meto go and bother you. He wants to know about the princess he can’t remember.”The personified curse smirked.
The livingmenace should remember the princess just as well as every other cursed.
But thenAlcaster couldn’t even recognize that his son was happy with his lot in lifeand the chances of him joining the coup resulting small.
And from thesmirk Varg knew that Myth knew that the curse knew everything.
Myth glaredback at the map of the town.
He hadapplied a tracking spell to the princess’ hairbands, but either all of themwere in the palace, he had missed some, whatever had happened had stripped thespell off or she was in a blind spot.
“Varg, comeover here. You can make yourself useful,” he said.
“More usefulthan just running around with letters?” the man asked mockingly.
“Not moreexciting, but yes, more useful. Give me the cane a moment.”
Object inhand Myth turned it to access the lower end and called upon his magic.
The slightstrain on his strength was calming, the task taking over his mind and taking uphis concentration.
Uponfinishing, he handed it back and then walked around the room setting a few morespells, creating a net pattern on the ground in the process.
“Walk thestreets and make sure to use this annoying habit of yours to clack it againstthe ground,” he instructed, “Every time you do-” he clacked it into the ground“It’ll create a mark.”
A pointappeared on the pattern.
“What’s thatfor?” Varg frowned at the point.
“It’ll createa map and show me the areas were my tracking spells aren’t working. There can’tbe many blind spots. And if the princess is actively hidden from us, it’ll atleast show where she is not,” Myth forced himself to stay calm. Telling thewolf the truth should keep shenanigans down.
Varg hummedunder his breath clacking it on the ground multiple times, as if testing thesound.
There wasno visible effect on cane or ground, but the point seemed to brighten a bit.
“Well, betterthan being coped up somewhere. I know where the exit is,” he said and strolledout.
Myth heardthe clacking of the cane distancing itself until a door closed.
Finally!Hopefully he showed more manners if he did find the princess.
010? Honestly I can’t choose, I love them all
And here is it. ^__^
010. Breathe Again
Being ableto breath normally again… nice. Myth could still recall the feeling of wantingto breath, trying to breath, but beingunable to, restricted by ropes too tight, cutting into the skin of his throatand almost completely blocking his airpipe.
Stupid Hunters.Stupid humans! They should all justgo and die!
The boyglanced down, checking the surroundings. The forest was empty and quiet. Climbingup here had been difficult, still dizzy from the long lack of air, but it hadbeen worth it. People rarely looked up, even when looking for someone. Andthere were no fruit trees anywhere near where he was, so there wasn’t even areason why someone would be looking up in this area anyway.
Jumpingback to the ground, the boy started moving away from the settlement. Now thathe was outed as a witch in this area as well, it was better to get the hell outof the area, before they decided to pick the search up again. He would need tojump a few settlements, to make sure, no one recognized him, but that wasn’tthe first time and he had enough experience with that already.
Keeping an eyeout, he pondered why so many deaths the humans inflicted on them had to do withbreathing. Gallows, if used wrongly, choked you. The fires may choke you beforethe burns kill you. Sometimes they drowned the witches, nothing to clean upwith them being dust and no wasting of resources either.
Maybe theydid that, because there wasn’t any blood to cause a mess then. Shrugging, he madesure to keep a steady pace. No reason to let these bastards catch him again. Hehad gotten lucky this time. He couldn’t count on always being able to take abreath again in the morning air of the day after the one when he got caught.
71! (and with our dear Lucy if you would)
71 - Obession
Sometimes Myth couldn’t resist looking at the princess, like he looked at the portrait of his queen.
Imagening her looking at him and him alone.
She looked so much like her mother as well, the same hair, regal composure and a grace befitting her standing.
And utterly beautiful as well.
Myth knew better than imagening any kind of relationship with his queen. She was his teacher, his mentor, his savior as well. But she was also married -if only to gain access to the royal resources- and didn’t bother with any kind of familial relationships outside her daughter.
A daughter who was slowly maturing into something looking enough like her mother that it was easy to not feel the disgust for her, he had initially felt upon learning of her contact with Waltz and still different enough that he was very aware that she wasn’t his queen.
But she would be a queen at one point as well…
Myth was hoping she would be his by then, an allowance from her and a reward from his queen at the same time.
He hoped his queen would allow that…
drabble on myth cursing fritz?
How it may have happened…
Myth eyedthe bound young man, who was glaring at him with a defiant expression. Right.Alcaster and his inability to share plans with his allies, when the allies inquestion were supposed to be involved in the very same plans.
Making him disappearwas not possible, the boy was too high profile and the princess would noticeand want the disappearance investigated at least. God only knew why Alcastercouldn’t notice some common sense and notice that his son was happy where hiswas an wouldn’t join any coup. Committed to his oath and duties.
“You know,Fritzgerald,” he finally said calmly, “You shouldn’t take that personally. Thiswhole mess is not happening, because you’re defiant or anything. Just becauseyour father is unable to use his eyes for more than reading paperwork and lookingif his knights follow the orders he makes.”
He wouldlove to do something more… tailored, but personal curses took time to prepareand the Fairytale curse was… easy to cast with it imprinted on the Crystallum, even allowing weak witches to cast a curse. As it was, he had enough power toinfluence how the curse would manifest beyond the tale chosen and add a fewextras.
Preparingthe curse, the magic started to glow above his hand. The knight’s eyes widenedand he started struggling against the ropes.
It didn’thelp him at all, the curse hitting him straight on, body slumping down.
AttentivelyMyth watched the first black fog starting to manifest around the male, gettingthicker, wavering around and finally completely enveloping the body.
When it disappeared, the hair was black. And, Myth noticed absently, he would need to obtain a fewclothes for this one. Well, easy enough to get. Just a nuisance that Alcastercouldn’t have given him the heads up. He could have things prepared alreadythen.
Yellowisheyes gave him a piercing look over and Myth glared back, not willing to give thisnew predator a sign of weakness and yank the leash already. That was lastresort. A permanently chained up beast would be useless and he had no patience forit.
A growl anda grin showing teeth and Myth raised an unimpressed brow. “You’re a human, wolf.If you want to run free, you should befriend yourself with the idea of behavinglike it,” he said coolly, “The name you’ll be using to interact with people isVarg. Remember it.”
HopefullyAlcaster really had something to keep this one occupied with. Myth had no timeto play babysitter!
can we have 028?
Enjoy. ^__^
028 - Anguish
The worldwas unfair. Myth had known that since the Hunts. This was simply the worldtaking it a bit further.
How couldthe traitor dare?!
As it was, there was nothing, Myth could do. Nothing outside of staring at the crystal encasedform. Wondering about her status was maddening. Was she sleeping? Aware of hersurroundings, unable to move or make herself known? Was she in pain? Did sheeven notice that time passed?
Having theonly person willing to support him was maddening! He still could remember her last words, promising sweet rewards for hisloyalty, but until then-
The fear of being found. The traitor returning, finding the cure to his curse. The traitor finding him, killing him for realthis time.
The pain uponlosing to him during the rebellion had been real, physical. Knowing that he couldstill turn back up while he was bound protecting the queen-!
It gnawed athim. Kept him awake. And while the wounds healed, there was still the dangerand the worry and nothing he could do outside of waiting and preparation.
It drovehim mad. But there was nothing he could do to stop this anguish.
Well, I’m still alive!^^
Even managed a small side project in four chapters, where Lucette gets reincarnated as female Tony Stark and Myth as Loki.
It’s completely uploaded over on Ao3.
If you're still taking Dabble Requests maybe "014. Smile" for Myth x Lucette? (I ship it so hard. I have no idea. I'm sorry.)
Nothing to be sorry about.^^If you like the pairing, you may wanna check out my fanfic Bloodlines over at Ao3. It has a slow start, but builds up to that pairing.
014 - Smile
There was a smile on her face. It was strange to think that it was directed at him. For him. Caused by him. He couldn’t remember how it started exactly, a random spontaneous act on his part. A slight against the king, who had just ended another rant against witches.
And somehow it had ended with him gaining something for himself, not a whim of his Queen, but a decision of the princess by herself. She had been angry, when he had told her truth behind locked doors, but he had weathered her anger, her fury and in the end it had softened into something else, built on stable foundations instead of a card house to crumble down as soon as another person folded and told her the truth.
She was his, as he was hers. More hers than his. The truth about him was more disastrous than the truth about her, which wad widely known.
And as long as no one told her the truth, she wouldn’t bother thinking about telling them the truth about him. And until then, her affections and smiles, small as they were -but genuine, how did he deserve this?- were all his.
Hey so read the rules on request and wanted to ask exactly what aus we can ask for? Are there any aus related to CP that we could probably request?????
Oh, god, I am just seeing how long I wasn’t doing anything for this blog...
My definition of AU is pretty broad. Different setting as an example in a different time/scenario/place etc. (If you’re really curious about what people can come up with, go onto the official Disord server and ask for the Dance Dance Refolution AU. But please don’t make me wrinte anything there. I don’t know that kind of setting wnough to write something up there.)
Ask whatever you like, as long as it roughly makes sense and involves Myth. Myth is my only real condition there.
PS: I am alive and did even work on a bigger projekt! Whoever wants can go over to AO3 to the Cinderelly Phenomenon category. There is a slow-build fanfic in progress with a Lucette/Myth pairing.
