Ykw, all the deer🗣️🔥🔥
I know that the animation studio wanted to desexualize the female characters in Arcane as much as possible which as a radical feminist I can appreciate. But as a Sevika fan, taking away the chest tattoo boob window crop top combo is actually really fucking unfair to women
My favorite Mel's concept design (she looks like a goddess)
hi, a lot of you need a perspective reset
the average human lifespan globally is 70+ years
taking the threshold of adulthood as 18, you are likely to spend at least 52 years as a fully grown adult
at the age of 30 you have lived less than one quarter of your adult life (12/52 years)
'middle age' is typically considered to be between 45-65
it is extremely common to switch careers, start new relationships, emigrate, go to college for the first or second time, or make other life-changing decisions in middle age
it's wild that I even have to spell it out, but older adults (60+) still have social lives and hobbies and interests.
you can still date when you get old. you can still fuck. you can still learn new skills, be fashionable, be competitive. you can still gossip, you can still travel, you can still read. you can still transition. you can still come out.
young doesn't mean peaked. you're inexperienced in your 20s! you're still learning and practicing! you're developing social skills and muscle memory that will last decades!
there are a million things to do in the world, and they don't vanish overnight because an imaginary number gets too big
Soft Melvika to cleanse one’s soul
( close up on Sevika’s sun charm on her carabiner, she needs her wife with her in spirit always )
started thinking on how silco and sevika would be able to recognize mel’s political tactics and now i’m here
it’s not enough to make posts defending Mel Medarda, i need a gun & IP addresses
Mel crumbs lol
Um... 🥺👉🏽👈🏽 Is anyone open to being a beta for my Melvika fic? It's a modern AU enemies/rivals to lovers(ish) fic where they both run for the same seat in Congress. There is also (eventual) smut.
Here is the synopsis:
Mel Medarda wasn’t used to losing. She was the youngest person to ever make partner at her firm, and in all those years, she’s never lost a single case. That is until her boyfriend Jayce forgets her 30th birthday, and she loses the first great love she ever had. To cope, she decides to tackle the next best thing: running for the House of Representatives. She’s been preparing for this for years, so she isn’t rattled. Until she meets her opponent, the dangerously attractive Sevika Kumar, and she has to reconsider how far she will go, and how much she is willing to give up, to win.
Before the injury that left her permanently disabled in her right arm, Sevika Kumal was unstoppable. She was completely undefeated as a boxer; she had a 26-0 record, with most of her wins being knockouts. She's confident she'll win when she’s headhunted by her friend Celeste to run for the House of Representatives. Politics is a different game than she’s used to, but if it’s like any game she’s ever played, she knows exactly where to strike to come out on top. That is, until she meets the pretty, intelligent, and fairly ruthless Mel Medarda, and has to confront just how in over her head she might be.
Hit me up :)
