I don't pray and I'm not religious, but sometimes I vaguely hope that there's some Powers That Be who may grant things that people hope for if they deem it right. Unfortunately, they're trickster gods.

I don't pray in some sense of "I deserve these good things to happen to me because I have been good", but more in a "pls permit the conditions that would let me do this, I promise watching me do it would be so fuckign funny"

🩷Meet the Pixies💜

A quick and dirty intro to all of the pixies I play on this blog that can and may be updated with time. (Keep in mind this is a blog with 18+ themes and mentions of torture and vore so peruse at your own discretion.)

Nibbler

The self appointed leader of the pixie group who’s older and smarter than the rest by half; a basic ground pixie drone with mismatched eyes and a gold fang. Father to skipper. Known for his sass and living vicariously through other folk; height envy and a total pred stuck in a prey body. Cinnamon roll flavored.

Flicker

The prissy matron queen of the motley hive, she still acts more on instinct than logic but still lets her will be known and tends to have the final say. She’s a larger than average mystic queen, with a day and night form and a flavor akin to the sweetest grapes.

Tricksee

A few tools short of a shed, Tricksee isn’t the brightest crayon in the box but he’s the most open and loving pixie you’ll ever meet. He specializes in making fast friends and, as his name suggests, performing tricks to impress and delight! A glowfly pixie with a blackberry flavor.

SweetBee

A typical honeysquee pixie drone, he tends to keep to himself and isn’t one for mischief like the others. A diligent worker who focuses on gathering food and making shelter out of lost things he finds along the way. Can be playful but is mostly the voice of reason. Honey flavored, sweet as sugar~

Dipper

An excitable little champ obsessed with learning about the world and trying new things, he’s the least likely to get in any awkward situations but he’s also the most likely to lay down his life to save a friend in need. A fancy chocolate caramel truffle baby.

Skipper

The youngest of the hive just barely out of his teen years with a baby face, he’s the all too curious and rebellious son of Nibbler and Flicker. The most cowardly as well as the most curious, his motto is to do it scared or not at all! A cinnamon roll flavored cutie.

Truffle

The newest member of the hive, a rogue queen seeking shelter. She’s a nervous little bean and doesn’t feel like she fits in, mainly because Flicker bullies her every chance she gets to assert dominance. A milk chocolate strawberry valentines truffle flavored babe.

Bluey, Cherri, PurPur

The hiveless lollipop triplets, born and bred in a candy store to be sold, they woke up one day and chose violence to escape and find their own ways.

fun behaviors to give dragons that aren't feline/canine based

cause as much as i love dragons purring and roaring i wish there was just more variety in how they would act

clacking their teeth together to show contentedness/happiness (budgies)

using tails as a defensive weapon in a whip like fashion (iguana)

twitching to express that they're not a threat to members of their species (hognose snake)

feeling calm when eyes are hooded/covered (birds of prey)

head bobbing as a threat display (anoles/bearded dragons)

flattening neck or sides to appear bigger (snakes/lizards)

mantling over food to protect it from hatchmates (birds of prey)

wiggling neck as a courting maneuver (budgies)

audibly grinding teeth as a warning (macaques)

maintained eye contact as a challenge (gorillas)

pounding wings against sides as a threat (gorillas)

slapping other dragons with their claws when their personal bubble is invaded (seals)

hoards used as a site to impress mates (birds of paradise)

snorting when undergoing heightened stress (horses)

making repeated loud noises with surroundings to establish territory (woodpeckers)

loud constant arguments with other dragons when roosting (bats)

building lairs that cause a domino effect of change in the land around them (beavers)

slapping their tails against the ground/water as a warning (beavers)

wiggling tail tip to attract prey (various animals)

wiggling tail tip as a warning (snakes)

plucking or scraping off scales as a sign of stress (parrots)

raising spines/frills as a response to danger and carrying on with their usual business as they believe they're protected (lionfish)

and im not saying canine and feline behaviors are wrong or bad to give a dragon (people wouldn't write dragons with those behaviors if they weren't fun in the first place!) but i feel for creatures that are mythological giant winged lizards that you can do more and get experimental with it. often the more unfamiliar behavior the more dragony the dragon feels
