Glad to see you've found my little pocket of Tumblr. I thought it'd be nice to have a 'get to know me' post. I decided to create my blog so that I could connect to the communities I write for, share and appreciate art, and maybe throw out my thoughts from time to time. Unfortunately, while I write a lot, I tend to only focus on one story at a time. I really try not to start works I won't finish. I'm looking forward to posting more in the future, but I find it overwhelming to try and juggle posting multiple stories at once.

I need more punching in Inuyasha. Give me an oc who travels from the modern world who doesn't have powers or a magical weapon, but they've been boxing since they were a kid.

pining is 100000% the most important aspect of pre-relationship fic for me. good-natured whole-hearted pining filled with lovelorn gazing and chest aching and fluttering touches, that’s my top priority. i was put on this earth to watch characters suffer over the profundity of their love for another person. unrequited love is why god made me. characters finding out that their feelings are reciprocated after long months/years of suffering is why the universe was assembled from nothingness. amen.

You know what I really love?

How Inuyasha and Kaede are just like bros. Not even by the end. More like by the middle. Kaede gives him shit. He returns that shit. There's some vitriole in the beginning but at some point Kaede is fucking with him and he's in on the bit.

They commiserate on their common point of sadness. At the end when Kagome is gone for those three years he seems to actually be hanging out with and just chill with her. It's nice.
