As the title states, this is what I’ve learned. It is all based on my experiences, opinions, and personal knowledge. Most of it comes from my grimoire. What Is A Curse? A curse is a type of spell a person can cast on you. It can cause misfortune, health issues, financial issues, relationship issues, even in some cases death. What About Hexes & Jinxes? I also want to define hexes & jinxes before we get too into this. • Jinxes • Temporary, can last hours, are just meant to cause a bit of bad lack but nothing too serious, are for a bit of fun or to teach someone a simple lesson. • Hexes • Also temporary, but have greater effects, they’re a lot more curse like in that they can teach more vital lessons and can cause things like sickness. • Curses • Permanent, can cause death, they’re for the worst, nastiest people, and the most intense situations. In other words, they’re all negative spells. Just 3 different levels of them. The main difference is curses are permanent, the others are not, and a jinx certainly wouldn’t cause death or permanently effect someones well-being. Are They Okay? I used to wonder this myself and have seen TONS of people ask it. It’s a matter of morality. I can’t tell you what to believe or think. It’s about you and your path. How Do I Know If I’m Cursed? There are symptoms, I’ll go over all the ones I’m aware of. • Bad Luck/Misfortune • Lack of motivation • Nightmares • Bad Omens • Personal items going missing • Plants dying • Fatigue • Health issues/sickness • Financial issues All and any of these things can happen, they will come along suddenly and have no other explanation other than a curse. How To Test If You’re Cursed Okay, you’ve identified you’ve got some of the symptoms, you can’t find any other reason or suspect someone specific has cursed you. The next step is testing to be sure. Here are my personal favorite ways to test for curses. The Egg Test Break an egg, what you find inside will give you insight. • Blood • You’re cursed • • White clots/chunks • There is no curse, but there is something clotting you or your life up • • Broken yolk • There is no curse, but you have inner turmoil and need to work on it • Divination Test Ask whatever forms of divination you may have if you’re cursed. Deity Test I don’t do deity work, but I also imagine it’d be an option to ask your deities if you’re cursed. What To Do Next? Alright, so you’ve looked at the symptoms, they’re unusual for you. You did the tests, you’ve come to conclusion you’re cursed. Now what? • Cleansing Cleansing is one of the foundations of witchcraft, use your favorite forms of cleansing to cleanse your space. This is a default for many witchy issues or situations anyways. But it’s a good reminder. • Crystals Use crystals as sources of positivity, luck, healing. To combat the symptoms of the curse. Also any crystals you can keep near you for protection will help too. • Salt bath This a method of cleansing yourself, it may get the curse off of you. It may also help if you found something unusual in your egg (that is if you did the egg test). • Warding This is another thing that’s very common and simple, but effective, ward yourself and your space to make sure nothing else that’s bad or unwanted gets in. • Deities You could ask your deities to help remove the curse or ask them what you should do about it. • Other witches Ask other more experienced witches what their experiences with curses are and they they recommend, get some feedback. Posts like this are nice but so is talking to someone and hearing their experiences! Here’s some types of spells you could use to help you! Spells • Return to sender spell • Protection spell • Remove curse spell (of course) Edited 6/24/2019 I’m sure I’ll add more to this in the future. I hope someone learned something! Enjoy! Have a lovely day (right after I just went on about curses and death for quite a while) 💖
Since y'all blew up the last spread i made for deity identification, i made another one 💫✨⭐
Crystals have many different purposes that vary person to person. Some people have them because they are rock collectors, some have them for their healing properties, some have them for their spiritual properties, it varies person to person (or witch to witch).
They help raise our vibrations so we can interact with the spirit world, they promote calming, they assist in meditation, they clear spiritual blockages, and so many other things that I cannot begin to cover
The world is our toolbox, and crystals are simply another tool
How one finds the perfect crystal will differ person to person, but this is how I find the perfect crystal for me. Feel free to try my method, or try something else, and find something that works for you.
Personally, crystals are not a priority in my practice, so I don't put a lot of pressure on myself to learn them all. I learn what I am interested in first, and learn about more crystals after.
When I am picking out crystals, I always do so in a local metaphysical shop and not online. I like to be able to feel them, feel their energy, and inspect them to make sure they are real.
Sometimes, I have visions of crystals, and those are the crystals I look for. My most recent experience of this was envisioning a red and black spotted pendulum, which turns out is Red Dalmatian Jasper! I guess the biggest tip for finding the perfect crystal is to go with what you are drawn to, and then researching it (but please research before purchasing, you need to know what energy you're allowing into your space).
Well, after you buy it you should cleanse it in some way, I have a whole post on protection which discusses ways of cleansing. Cleansing gets rid of any negative attachment or energy on the object, this ensures nobody's bitterness from the shop or where-ever follows you. After cleansing, you need to charge it with your energy, a pet's energy, sunlight, moonlight, whichever is most appropriate for your stone. Once it is charged, then you can use them for meditation, divination, clearing blockages, etc. I have used crystals without charging them before, they just have weak energy if you don't charge them in my opinion.
(CAUTION: NOT ALL CRYSTALS CAN BE IN THE SUN, TOUCH SALT, OR BE IN WATER. RESEARCH WHICH ONES SO YOU DON'T RUIN YOUR CRYSTALS)
So different shapes do different things in the spiritual world, the shapes signify what the crystal is best used for in my opinion. Here are some common shapes and their meanings:
Sphere: used sometimes for scrying, emits energy in all directions
Heart: Sending love across space
Tower, pillar, or Point: Amplifying intent
Pyramid: Brings your intentions into the universe
Cube: Grounding
Meditation Stone: Stone gives skin/person energy through skin-to-stone contact
Pillars or Tower: Can charge other crystals
Egg: Fertility, stability
Wand: Used for healing and rituals
Baneful Spellwork positive post
There are so many valid, reasonable, understandable things that would warrant a practitioner casting a baneful spell against someone else.
Your biggest ally in a baneful working: GIVE YOUR SUBJECT AN "OUT"
a change in behavior, a sincere apology, returned items. Whatever your reason is for your working, give them a way to break it themselves.
Pavlov that fucker into righting their own wrongs. "If you're honest, genuine, & kind, things will start to go your way again. If you continue in your malice, your life will fall apart."
In my personal practice, I don't follow any bastardized karmic retribution, or a rule of three. I believe that the Universe is a perfect balance of positive & negative forces, and it isn't fond of anything throwing that balance too far off kilter.
Without a "breaker" built in, your spell will eventually start to backfire. And it will backfire in the direction it came from.
To enchant an item is to infuse it with magical energy. This energy can come from a variety of sources, including celestial bodies, elements, crystals, herbs, or even yourself.
Some individuals use the words “enchant” and “charm” synonymously as a way to describe the process of infusing something with energy, but for the sake of this post and due to my own beliefs, you enchant something and it then becomes a charm. Alternately, a charm can be something with its own innate energy, like a crystal or herbal amulet.
Enchanting items to turn them into magical objects involves more than just intent - you must learn to channel and manipulate energy, and direct it into that item for enchanting to be successful.
Although, the process of enchanting is extremely versatile and there are many ways to do it.
Here are a few ideas on how to enchant items, in no particular order:
Surround the item with crystals of corresponding intent
Surround the item with herbs of corresponding intent
Place the item in a jar filled with herbs that represent your intent
Place the item in front of a candle and meditate on your intent
Anoint the item with an oil, charged water, or crystal elixir of corresponding intent
Hold the item in your hand(s) and visualize it filling with the appropriate energy
Hold the item in your hand(s) and speak or sing your intent aloud
Craft a symbol to keep near the item in an envelope or sachet
Sew, stitch, or carve a symbol into the item
Write your intention on paper and keep in an envelope with the item
Pair the item with a corresponding runestone or tarot / oracle card in an envelope
Take the item and put it in a box with other items that represent your intent such as crystals, herbs, talismans, amulets, etc.
Bury the item in soil with herbs and/or crystals that match your intent (please don’t put salt on your lawn though, unless you want dead grass)
Pass the item through incense smoke that matches your intent
Pro Tip: Time your enchantments with the appropriate planetary hour, day of the week, time of day, or lunar phase to increase your chances of creating a successful charm.

When is energy most powerful?
Hi I am really confused on what is shadow work and you can work on it
Could you please explain it to me
Only if you want tho
Thank anyway ❤
What is Shadow Work?
Shadow Work is a way of consciously confronting your Shadow Self to achieve personal and spiritual growth.
We all have a Shadow Self - it is what we can't clearly see in ourselves. What is hidden to us, what we deny and repress - the 'dark side'. You cannot and shouldn't even try getting rid of your shadow side. It is necessary and not at all bad or evil. But when you ignore it, that is when problems start to come up.
What you should do is get to know your shadow self. Explore, learn and understand your shadow behaviours because it can lead to a much better mental health, overall growth, spiritual awakening, higher energy levels and authenticity.
Our shadow - or the things we repress and try to hide - often comes from childhood trauma and unfortunately, many people don't even realise theirs or they choose to ignore it, because that is much easier. Those could be addictions, restrictive mindset, toxic habits and much more. Only you can recognise your own shadows and actively work on them.
That is what Shadow Work is for. Answering all the uncomfortable questions and facing unhealthy behaviours in ourselves. It is hard work and can take a lot of time, but it is absolutely necessary if you want to become the best version of yourself. So start as soon as you can.
