Dive Deep into Creativity: Discover, Share, Inspire
I have no idea what posessed me to do this but
I drew some of my OCs into this random renaissance painting I found on the Internet.
I'll share some information about the painting below!
Here, we see Neil and his daughter Claire. I tried to adjust Neil's face to the colours of the room, but it was so difficult! Not to mention, the dude HAD A BEARD I had to somehow get rid of.
I'm kind of proud of how Claire truend out, and I also like Neil's hair, but his face? Eh. If anyone has advice on how to fix it, please let me know!
Original painting below!
The artist is apernelty called Tostislav Ivanovich Felizen and is not very well known as far as I can tell? Not even Wikipedia of all placed had ANY articles about it. And the only other info I could find thst he has been born and also died in Russia.
Being born in 1830 and dying at around 1904, not being very known, other than I believe for 2 or 3 paintings. All are in a similar style.
This painting is often referred to as:
Young lady with older gentleman at a table.
Which sounds to me like a description rather than a real name. So I believe none was given.
If anyone else finds more info about this artist, please let me know! While his work isn't my absolute favourite, I find the style he has highlights and lighting fascinating, and it served as a good challenge for my skills. Especially the tone of the whole room!
