Dancing With The Devil is my first interactive fiction, but it’s not my main story. It’s what I hope will be a stress reliever for when working on my other stories become a bit too much. I hope to have the intro post out for at least one of them soon! Content Warning is at the end of the post, check it out before interacting/reading. 18+

Twelve years ago you and your band mates were at the height of your careers. Being on the cover of every magazine and headlining the biggest shows, and attending the grandest galas and parties were only some of the perks of being on top of the music world. You were born to be in the spotlight, and boy was it good to be treated and feel better than everyone else.

But life in the spotlight faded pretty fast. Now it’s been six years since you’ve disbanded and your life hasn’t been the same. No more shows, no more getting recognized every time you go out, and no more special treatment. Suddenly, you were no one and compared to how you were living then, well your life is shit.

And honestly? You’d do anything to have the amount of success again. Anything.

Unfortunately for you, a mysterious being approaches you with a deal of a lifetime. The celebrity lifestyle, the success, and the money? You could experience it all again for just one measly price: your service.

And when they call for you to do their bidding, you’d better be ready.

Get ready for one hell of a ride, rockstar.

Customize the MC. (Appearance, Gender, Personality, and Sexuality.)

Customize your…other form. Don’t worry you’ll look scary and sick as shit at the same time.

Have a demonic power that you’ll get to use when you have to, or just when you want to.

Choose your role in the band. Because that’s the thing that matters right now. (No, it actually does, and it’s gonna be pretty fucking cool.)

Rekindle friendships with or romance with any of the five romance options, plus a secret/locked option. Poly routes will be added to the ROs list once I plan them.

Choices shape your route. Do you want to embrace your new dark side or is it all too much for you? Both possible routes comes with their own pros and cons.

The choices you make can also put you and your band mates in some hot ass water (literally), but let’s be honest, you guys probably deserve it!

Multiple endings.

Ava Leveux, F, She/Her, 36, Lead Singer

One of your closest friends still and really the only one you talk to after the band’s split. She’s one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, and between all of you, the one with the most common sense. Which is why she’s very reluctant to go along with the entire “deal” in the first place.

Daniel Mercer, M, He/Him, 35, Bassist

Despite the fact that he’s not actually as talented as the other members of the band, he definitely has the biggest ego out of everyone. Add the fact that he can be quite hot headed, and he becomes one of the most annoying people on the planet. He didn’t really end on the best of terms with the rest of you after the band split, but because he’s just as desperate for attention as the rest of you, he’s back.

Farrow Marsone, NB, They/Them, 39, Manager

Your no-nonsense manager. Not here for this shit honestly. They’re the first and pretty much only one to explicitly tell you that this entire deal is shady, and will come back to bite you in the ass. However after some thinking, they begin to realize that they’ve been out of work for years and your success is their success.

Hannah Landoni, F, She/Her, 35, Guitarist

Though the success isn’t much, she’s the so called “breakout star” of the band. After the split, she’s the only one who’s made bit of a name for herself and at least a little bit known nowadays. Was very quick to distance herself from the rest of you once she rebranded. Once she heard about your plan, she really wasn’t on board with it, but even she can’t ignore the fact that the bit of spotlight that she does have is fading fast.

Ronin Sawyer, He/They, 33, Drummer

One chaotic little shit, and can be quite too much for some people. Constantly giving out himbo energy, and a bit clueless about what’s going on, but once they figure it out they’re all in for it. It’s reckless, impulsive, and it’s sure to cause a lot of chaos. How the hell could they say no to this?

Dancing with the Devil is an 18+ horror themed interactive fiction with a hint of dark comedy. The story will feature strong language, consumption of alcohol, implied drug use, violence, mildly gruesome scenes, optional sexual explicit scenes, hints of manipulation, blood, and dark themes. Possibly more to be added as the story progresses. If any of this is off putting to you, this may not be the story for you. Play at your own risk.
