Adrien Won't Go Speechless

Adrien desperately banged on the door of his padded cell. He needed to get out, but the nightmares were so intense, so surreal, so horrifying. Every couple of minutes, his mind would flash back to the desolate wasteland coated in the remains of Paris, holding the ashened corpse of Marinette and donning the unnerving white suit. He banged the door one last time before sliding to his knees and letting out a couple of tears. Plagg watched all of this from Adrien’s shoulder, a mix of pity and anger coursing through his mind. This was ridiculous! How could Gabriel do this to his own son! He had half a mind to atomize this entire building, but the power of the unsuppressed Cataclysm could destroy Adrien and Kagami along with it.

Suddenly, one of the walls to the room started to crumble. Plagg quickly jets to find somewhere to hide and Adrien looks at the weakening wall with concern. A fist made of smooth black crystal crashes through the wall, completely destroying it. Two blue feather daggers flew out of the resulting cloud of smoke at the speed of bullets, one of them impaling the camera in the upper corner, and the other impaling the camera in the middle of the alliance robot.

Recognizing the daggers, Adrien stood up and called, “Felix?” 

The cloud of smoke cleared as if on cue, revealing Argos stepping in through the hole. Behind him stepped a 9 foot tall humanoid figure made of smooth black crystal with no hair and a singular white eye on the center of its face. It wore what Adrien recognized as a gi similar to that of Su-Han’s, but blue and white instead of red and black. 

“Hello, cousin. I’m sure you’re happy to see me.” Argos said. 

Adrien looked at Argos with wary eyes as he asked, “What are you doing here?” As soon as the words left his mouth, the nightmare came back, bringing Adrien to his knees as he clutched his head. Argos rushed over to him and kneeled down next to him, putting an arm over his shoulder. “I’m here to get you and Kagami out of here.” Argos explained as he brought Adrien to his feet. 

Adrien began, “No, no I can’t go. Father-”

“Adrien, your father locked you here without a second thought. He took you away from your friends. He’s taken you away from your own true love. That man is despicable.” Argos scolded.

“You don’t know what he’ll do.” Adrien retorted.

Against all better judgment, Argos blurted out, “Adrien, your father is Monarch.”

Adrien’s eyes widened as he stuttered out, “W-what?”

The nightmares began intensifying again. Argos explained everything that’s been going on behind Adrien’s back, that his father has been the menace of Paris the entire time, that he’s the reason Nathalie is on her deathbed, that he’s been doing all of this to revive his mother, that an army of Miraclonized soldiers are attacking Ladybug at this very moment, and the one that shocked him the most, that he, Felix, and Kagami are sentimonsters. That’s why he felt like he could never disobey his father. That’s why he’s felt like a slave his entire life. 

Adrien’s eyes narrowed as he clenched his fist in anger. He tried to stand up but the nightmares intensified again. He looked at Argos and slid off his ring. He handed it to Argos and said, “Take thi-Take this to Ladybug.”

Argos asked, “What, why?” Before looking down at the ring and realizing what it was. Argos’ eyes widened as Plagg floated down next to Adrien and asked, “Kid?”

“I’m not strong enough to fight off these nightmares, but Ladybug is. I won’t be of any use out there or anywhere. I might as well stay here.” Adrien said.

Argos extended his hand to take the ring, but after a moment of hesitation, he changed his mind, instead closing Adrien’s hand around the ring and pushing it into his chest. “The world needs Chat Noir just as much as it needs Ladybug. I’m going to go get Kagami, but you need to fight the nightmares, you need to transform.” Argos said before turning to the sentimonster standing in the corner.

“Helio, follow me.” Argos said. The sentimonster nodded and the two began walking out of the room. Before the sentimonster left the room, it locked eyes with Adrien and gave him a supporting gaze with its singular eye. 

It then left the room, leaving Adrien and Plagg alone. Plagg said, “You heard him, Adrien. Transform. Please.” Adrien whimpered, “I’m sorry, Plagg, I ca-AAAAAAAAAAGH!” The nightmares got even more intense and surreal than they were before. Pain spread through the entirety of his head. He clutched his hair and closed his eyes, trying to bear the pain. Soon, it subsided and he opened his eyes to see that he was back in the wasteland, standing on the top of a building and looking down at the chaos. He saw himself kneeling down on the ground, holding the same ashened corpse. Confusion filled his mind as he looked to the right and saw a giant ripple of sea water making its way through Paris. 

Here comes a wave meant to wash me away, designed to start pulling me under. 

He watched the wave wash over the other him and coat the rest of the destroyed city.

Broken again, left with nothing to say, my voice drowned out in the thunder.

He blinked and found himself at the front steps of Francois Dupont. Adrien reeled back in shock as he watched himself running up the steps of the school. The other him stopped halfway and turned around to look at…Nathalie!? And then Adrien realized that this is one of his memories. As the familiar argument ensued, Adrien turned to see Master Fu laying on the ground. It felt good to see Fu again, he’d never even heard any more of Fu after Miracle Queen.

Try to resist, but I’m just isolated.

The other him ran down the stairs to go help Fu, and Adrien smiled. He was forever thankful for this moment. The moment that began the legacy of Chat Noir and granted him that small taste of freedom.

I can’t assist, so forget me and let me drown.

With another blink, he was taken to the front room of the mansion. His home. 

I wait in silence, hope on the horizon.

Adrien slowly trudged up the steps. He tried to feel the guard rail, but his hand just went right through it. He continued trudging as he looked at the picture of him and his father at the top of the steps. 

Let it be, don’t riot. It’s too late, just go lay there speechless. 

He walked towards his room door.

It’s paining, I feel my weak heart aching.

Adrien phases through his room door to spread his gaze across his wide and spacious bedroom. Many would’ve called this place heaven, but especially now, it and the rest of the mansion felt like another prison.

I hear her screams, m’lady. It’s my fate, so I’ll wait here speechless.

He blinked and found himself inside of the school. He saw another him walking to class with Nino, Marinette, and Alya walking with him.

Every order, arrangement, contract. 

Another blink and he was standing at the back of his full and lively classroom, watching the other his classmates talk excitedly. 

Said from the mouth of another. 

He slowly looked over the bright smiles of his classmates, and stopped when he saw the radiant shine of Marinette’s beautiful expression. 

Every scream from the selfishest quest.

He blinked and found himself in his father’s work room, facing the portrait of his mother.

To fruitlessly bring back my mother. 

He ran his hand across the painting.

Would she be proud of what he’s doing?

In the blink of an eye, he was taken to another memory, one of a much younger Adrien holding his mother’s hand while she laid on the bed and stared at the ceiling. 

Would she believe that this was for the best?

He was then transported to the top of another building, staring down at an undestroyed Paris. He looked to his left and saw Ladybug standing next to him. He looked down at his hands and realized he was Chat Noir. A cloud of smoke erupted from the bottom of the Eiffel tower and Ladybug started swinging towards it. A smile spread across Chat Noir’s face as he ran and leaped over the rooftops.

I can’t be silenced, can’t keep up this abiding.

He vaulted across the sky, feeling like he was walking on clouds.

Can’t tremble when he tries it. I will rise, no more crying speechless. Speechless!

He landed on the ground in the middle of a crowd of humanoid figures made of solid black energy. They rushed at him and started to battle them all.

So I’ll bleed, like those he came before me! I’m half of what the world needs! 

With one final attack, he knocked the last of the figures to the floor. The ground beneath him started to crumble.

Better late than to lay here speechless!

The ground crumbled, causing him to fall into a pitch black void. He twirled his staff above him to slow his descent. 

You can’t order me around, and I won’t back down and comply!

He landed on some invisible platform. 

I will take these rusted claws and cut these frayed and wethered ties!

Suddenly, all sound cut out as Chat Noir turned around and eyed a levitating blue string. It ran for miles and seemed to be connected to nothing, but something inside him knew what it was. It was a physical manifestation of the magical bond that linked him to his father, or rather, his father’s ring. His eyes narrowed as he held his hand up in the air and roared out, “Cataclysm!” 

Instead of the normal black bubbles, a solid mass of black energy formed in his palm. It grew, and twisted, and changed shape around his hand until it formed sharp claws radiating with destructive black light. He stared down the line swinging his claws at the string.

Hear the echoes screaming out!

The claws impacted the string and severed it completely. The moment the string was cut, Adrien was blasted back to real life. It felt like a myriad of strings had been detached from his body. All except one.

Plagg looked at Adrien with concern and anticipation. The young Agreste stood up, raised his fist in the air, and roared, “Plagg, Claws Out!” 

I won’t be silent! 

The kwami flew into the ring just as another Alliance robot rolled into the room. Green lightning crawled across his body, forming into his suit. Except it’s different from his normal suit. There are sharp silver accents over it, as well as thick black and neon green boots and gloves with clawed tips. His normal belt was replaced by what looked like a utility belt with a gold cat’s head shaped buckle, and attached to the back of this belt was a wider black rectangular tail-like attachment with a golden circle and neon green tassels at the end of it. 

Out there’s a life without you, and I’ll find it! It’s my fate, I won’t wait here speechless! Speechless!

Chat Noir raised his hand in the air and yelled, “Mega Cataclysm!” A pillar of black energy erupted from his hand, piercing through the ceiling. He lowered his hand, and the beam along with it. The beam acted as a sword as he pulled it in a circle and cut the building in half horizontally. 

I’m breaking, my freedom I’ll be taking, I’ll be there to help my lady! 

The top half of the building crumbled to debris. Chat Noir pulled out his staff and vaulted himself through the destroyed roof.

Cause I know that I won’t go speechless! All I know is I won’t go speechless! Speechless!

He vaulted into the skies as Argos and Kagami watched from the roof of a nearby building.

Yes, omg it all works! I’ll admit, Felix were one of the few characters that I couldn’t quite figure out, but idea that the white reflects him wanting to take back control works perfectly.

I totally agree with everything you said about Chloe, but now that I think about it, the yellow could actually hold some significance too. I think the yellow jacket was there mostly to foreshadow her becoming Queen Bee, especially when combined with the stripes on her T-shirt (Alya also has a similar thing going on with her orange shirt). Funnily enough, there is a bug called the yellow jacket wasp, so you could also argue that the that fact that she wears a jacket specifically could foreshadow her eventual akumatisation into Queen Wasp and Miracle Queen too.

Either way, I think for Chloe the yellow could represent her desire to be a hero, with the white and black informing both her general attitudes towards people as a civilian (like what you mentioned) but also her motivations behind being a hero. Chloe has no qualms about using her power on other people, such as when she paralysed the person driving the train in “Queen Wasp”, reflecting how she likes to have power and control over others, which is symbolised by the white stripes on her t-shirt. The bee’s powers are also inherently controlling, literally being based of the concept of subjugation. However, she is also motivated by love, as evidenced by that moment in “Mayura” when she sees that all her family have been akumatised by Scarlet Moth. Seeing her loved ones like this distracts her and sends her off-kilter, to the point where it is eventually what gets her re-akumatised in this episode once they overpower her. With all this in mind, you could argue that she wants to be Queen Bee so she can both wield power over others and protect the people she loves.

Also, looking back on Heroes’ day, the fact that all the akumatised are red could even symbolise some twisted loyalty to Scarlet Moth?

So a year or two ago I saw this amazing post on tumblr about colour symbolism in Miraculous (I really wish I could source it here but I can’t find it anywhere I am literally kicking myself right now). Anyway, it is an incredible theory and once start seeing the connections you can’t stop. The basic idea is that the some of the colours that characters wear or are associated with symbolise their general motivations. The theory focuses specifically on the colours red, white and black. The meanings kind of evolved as more people reblogged but from what I remember the basic gist is this:

Red= duty / loyalty

White= control

Black= love

I think they actually said that black was romance, but that definition is just a little too limiting in my opinion and broadening in it out allows you to make more connections. I am also broadening out red as well to include loyalty for the same reasons (besides duty and loyalty are also pretty similar, so it’s not that much of a stretch).

Anyway, I bring this up because I saw the post at some point during season 4—definitely before the release of season 5 anyway, but looking back on the latest season just made me realise that oh my god they were so right. So, I’m just going to show you some of things I’ve noticed when it comes to this theory, especially surrounding season 5. (Buckle up guys, this is gonna be a long post).

But before I get into all that, I just want to mention that the placement of the clothing also informs the meaning behind the colour. This was also mentioned in the original post too I believe, but I can’t remember exactly how it worked so I’m just gonna put my own spin on it based on what I noticed.

So when I say the placement of the clothing I’m really just talking about whether the colour is the top or bottom layer of clothing—jacket vs. T-shirt, blazer vs. shirt etc.. The bottom layer is the character’s core motive, with the top layer being more secondary. A lot of the time the secondary motive informs the core one, so it kind of becomes the means with which they achieve their core motive. For example, a character wearing a red coat with a black T-shirt could be interpreted as loyalty or duty coming from a place a love—they do what they believe is right because of the people they love etc.

Ladybug / Marinette

Ok, time to put this theory into action, and what better place to start than the main character? Ladybug’s costume is pretty straightforward: red with black spots. The red obviously represents her duty as a hero, her main motive when in costume. and the spots could either represent her love for Paris or if you’re a Ladynoir shipper, her love for Chat Noir, it could really go either way.

Her civilian outfit is where it starts to get interesting though. Marinette wears a black blazer with a white top underneath. With the white as the core motive and the black as the secondary one, this indicates love from a place of control, and this is backed up by the events of show. Marinette clearly does love Adrien but she can also be very particular about how she approaches her love. She knows every detail about him, such as the schedule she has in “Copycat”, and feels the need to control every detail when she tries to confess to him, such as Operation: Secret Garden in “Gigantitan”. This controlling nature is only solidfied in the episode “Derision” after Kim pranks her on their date. “I should’ve had a plan […] I’ll never tell another boy that I love him before I know everything about him” (11:53-12:04).

Chat Noir / Adrien

Chat Noir is also pretty simple when it comes to colour symbolism in the show. His suit is all black, indicating that his main motive is love. In earlier seasons this most likely symbolised his love for Ladybug but now that he is with Marinette we can assume that it symbolises his generally loving attitude, whether it be towards his friends, family, maybe even Paris itself.

His civilian clothing also points to this same idea, with his T-shirt being black. Adrien also has a white over shirt, but rather than this representing some need for control, I’d argue this more so symbolises Gabriel’s control over him, which of course, does inform a lot of Adrien’s actions. Gabriel’s control pushes the black down another layer—it suppresses it. Instead showing off his colours proudly like he does as Chat Noir he has to leave them cloaked under a white surface, trying to navigate his core motive of love while being unable to fully shake off the white. Think of the many times when Gabriel has kept him away from his friends, like in the episode “Bubbler” where he wasn’t allowed to have a birthday party, or in “Revolution” when Gabriel ships him off to London for the next school year.

Interestingly, this isn’t the only instance where a white top layer indicates control thrusted onto the character wearing the colour. Kagami also follows a similar pattern sporting a white blazer and a controlling mother. She also has both red and black in the bottom layers so make of that what you will.

Another thing to note is that many of Adrien’s modelling outfits are fully white, such as the one in the fragrance ad or the angel outfit in “Simpleman”, representing the complete control Gabriel has over him when he is modelling. Correct me if I’m wrong here, but the only modelling outfit that is not white (apart from the stock photos like the ones in the mansion perhaps) is the one that he wears in “Queen Wasp”. Instead of fully white this suit is fully black, and it is topped off with a black pigeon hat, a hat that Marinette, who is in love with Adrien, made. Additionally, this is the episode where Gabriel almost gives up being Hawkmoth because of how Adrien was attacked by Style Queen in the previous episode. He is less controlling of Adrien and more loving in this episode, even go so far as to hug him in his first public appearance since Emilie’s death, and the black suit reflects that.

However, the idea that Adrien’s all-white clothes represent Gabriel’s control isn’t even just limited to modelling. When Chat Noir is akumatised in “Chat Blanc” his suit also becomes fully white.

In season 5, the Alliance rings are also closely linked to the colour white. The Adrien and Kagami avatars wear all white, indicating the controlling nature of the alliance and the fact that The two of them have no control over how their image is used. Even the virtual space that the avatars exist in is an empty white void, reminiscent of the padded rooms the two are placed in during the season 5 finale, rooms which are used to confine and control the two.

The only time when the Alliance interface is not white is when it changes to red. There’s two times this has happened as far as I’m aware: in “Revelation” when Hoaxer enters the Alliance rings and feeds the people fake news, and in “Confirmation” when Gabriel creates fake footage of Ladybug and Chat Noir kidnapping Adrien and Kagami’s avatars. In both of these scenarios, someone is preying on the public’s loyalty to the alliance rings and their sense of duty to get them to do their bidding.

And look, I know I’ve been straying away a from Adrien a bit, but I also just want to mention that the colour white is often associated with the rich and powerful of Paris in general. This is most clearly seen in “Emotion”, where the VIP party’s dress code is literally all white, reflecting how all the people in that room control Paris.

Gabriel

Speaking of rich and powerful, Gabriel also draws from the colour triad. He does have a few layers that aren’t one of these three colours but his very bottom layer is a white shirt, which isn’t a surprise really, we just went over how he is controlling with both Adrien and the alliance rings. He also has a striped red tie symbolising either his loyalty towards Emilie or the fact that he believes it is his duty to bring her back to life. The white stripes also indicate control, probably to reflect the way that he will do anything in his power to bring Emilie back, like using the miraculous wish, because he is incapable of accepting that sometimes things happen beyond your control and all you can do is move on.

In season 5 he wears all white as his obsession with the wish—his means of complete control, takes over. It could also represent how he’s become even more controlling of Adrien despite pretending to be more loving, (because again, he literally ships his own son off to a different country). Interestingly, in the episode “Destruction” he is inflicted with a cataclysm, a black cataclysm, which could be a visual metaphor for his love for Emilie literally destroying him, which is a really cool in my opinion.

Lila Rossi

Lila is definitely the most interesting character to analyse under this theory, because not only do her clothes draw from the colour triad but even her name does. According to nameberry.com, Lila means night (ie black) and Rossi means red in Italian. She also wears a red cardigan with black underneath—duty or loyalty from a place of love. If we take Lila claims at face value then this makes sense, like in the episode “Chameleon”, when she catches a napkin with her sprained wrist to protect Max, all the while saying things like “I didn’t have a choice” (i.e duty) and “Why wouldn’t I Max […] you’re my friend” (i.e love) (5:40-42 and 5:47-50). But of course, Lila is a liar which means that everything from her name to even the clothes she wears is a carefully constructed illusion.

In the episode “Confrontation” it is revealed that Lila has actually been juggling two fake identities: Lila Rossi and Cerise Bianca. Now this is where it gets really interesting because Lila’s second identity also draws from the colour triad too. Cerise is a shade of red similar to that of cherries or rubies and guess what Bianca means in Italian? That’s right—white.

This can mean a few different things. Perhaps her Cerise persona is more noticeably controlling. Lila’s name directly reflected her clothing, with her first name indicating the the bottom layer (the core motive) and her second name the top layer (the means) so if we apply the same logic to Cerise then maybe her name indicates that this persona’s motives are control from a place a duty, in other words being bossy and controlling because she feels like it’s her job to lead and help everyone.

Another interpretation could be that these are Lila’s true motivations, especially with her being named after the colour white, and if you really want to stretch it, then you could also argue that the red indicates loyalty to herself; she controls everyone because it exclusively benefits her.

it could also be interpreted as somewhere in between. Instead of it being solely Cerise’s fake motivations or Lila’s true motivations it is rather a step closer to the truth. The loyalty to herself theory is, like I said, a stretch. If anything, her true motivation is probably just control for control’s sake, and in this Cerise persona her true colours are shining through a little.

I couldn’t really find a natural place to put this but I also just want to point out here that when she was akumatised into Hoaxer she still had the red and black colour scheme that she does as Lila because she’s still using the same tactics that she does as a civilian, pretending that all she does is out of love and duty. She does also however have splashes of white on her belt, tail and ends of her hair, so maybe that also symbolises her true colours showing through too.

I’m honestly curious to see if Cerise’s clothes will change in season 6 to reflect her name, especially with a lot of the other characters getting new outfits too. Either way I think it’s really interesting how both her fake identities are based off of these three colours.

The great thing about this theory is that it’s not just confined to these four characters. Plenty of more characters also wear these colours, such as Kagami, who I briefly touched on, Emilie (and Amelie by extension), Tomoe Tsurugi, even Nathalie. The only reason why I didn’t delve into these characters is because this post is getting pretty long and I think I’ve made my point, but really, I’ve barely scratched the surface here. There is so much significance with these three colours, they are literally everywhere.

Cause my last post did so well (thank you haters and stans 🫶) I thought, why not make a post about their delusions and bs. So let's talk Felix (this is for the stans 😘):

• "Emotion": he commited terrorism, was happily spreading fear and ceased innocent people from existance cause they were human and he doesn't like humans, a crime based on pure hatred - basically magical genocide (for a lil comparison check Magneto and his view on humans/mutants)

• "Pretension": Felix stalks and kidnaps Kagami, thinking it's just fine. Starts being interested in her romantically cause she's senti. He never cared about her before, only after finding out did he start caring - this plus fact above confirms he's racist against humans. No, Colt's abuse against him doesn't justify anything. Recreate the scenario in your head if it was with black and white people. Oh and on top of this, Felix makes Kagami feel sorry for him so she gives him a chance, which in the end works. Basically little guilttripping. But she also gets together with him cause he looks like her ex, for whom she still has unresolved feelings for so all in all Feligami is not only underdeveloped (has no build-up) but in a way also disgusting

• "Felix": His introduction and we already get to know he never cared for Adrien, in fact bullied him since they were little. The small amount of time he's there he invades Adrien's privacy on his phone, sends a hate message to his friends, hoping to break up their friendship, further pretends to be him to mess with his cousin as much as he can, SAs Ladybug so, again he can mess with Adrien and make his crush hate him, and puts camembert under Adrien's pillow just because. And ofc also steals Gabriel's ring cause his mother wanted to have it (who already never cared for them and only visited to get the rings back). Definitely respectful towards Gabriel AND Adrien and if he cares for his cousin so much, shouldn't he know Adrien has a right to those rings too? (Literally his amoks) Oh and in the end, he pretends to feel sorry - he doesn't a little bit ofc. Lovely boy 🤪

• Multiple eps in s4: Snoops around the Agreste mansion just cause he can - he literally has no motive other than snoop around and maybe find some dirt cause why not? If it wasn't obvious already gonna say it again - disrespectful af move. Imagine if one of your relatives or friends decided to basically break into private sections of your house.

• Season 4 finale: Decides to pretend to be Adrien, NOT for his benefit but his own which in the end he exploits by betraying Ladybug's trust and dealing every miraculous for the peacock with the villain. For all the heroes and whole Paris knows, Monarch won. He will defeat the heroes and make his Wish and dominate the Earth. "Lucky" for them plot armour exists and that Gabriel "only" wanted to bring Emilie back otherwise it would've meant the end of the world. And Felix helped without any bother or remorse 😃 Gonna say it - s5 would look different if Felix didn't exchange every miraculous for one. Hell, there's a chance Gabriel might've not gone mad!

• "Representation": After everything he's done he has the nerve to go to Marinette, not even directly(!), and ask her to help defeat Monarch so that HE can have a happy ending with his girlfriend. His motive wasn't "Monarch needs to be stopped cause he's the villain and people need to be safe" but "Monarch needs to be stopped cause I want ME to be safe with MY girlfriend" - can you smell the selfishness here?

• He claims to care so much for his cousin but as mentioned, he bullied him since they were kids, but he's senti so now he cares oh and now that Kagami is his girlfriend, he had every reason to try breaking Adrien and Kagami out of their lockdown in London. He literally lives there. But he didn't.

• Guess what? The writers and the fans want to make him out to be a hero but he isn't and never was. In fact he never even AT LEAST apologized to Ladybug after everything he's done, for betraying her for example 😃

So on a final note - you can't excuse him. These are things he did. It's canon. You can't twist around anything. If you want to try and excuse him, ask yourself "are you REALLY a fan of the character if you can't accept their wrongdoings? Or do you just want your fav character to be a perfect angel?"

For everything he does he has selfish reasons. And that's his character, accept it.

Colt's abuse doesn't excuse anything. Like the saying goes "it's an explanation, NOT an excuse"

In fact, by the narrative's standard it definitely doesn't give you the right to behave like a jacka**, see Chloe who never got a redemption cause "she was too far gone" and this scene:

Rose: "Don't be mad at her. She's this way because her mother left her when she was young."

Mylène: "So did mine! And you don't see me having fun bullying Marinette."

And for sure it doesn't give anyone any right to wield a miraculous, quoting Astruc: "Mean people don't and will never deserve a Miraculous"

Another interesting fact Astruc once revealed was about why Felix was later switched to Adrien as the love interest for Marinette. With his words, "he's a weak character with cliché psychology" - can't believe it but I agree with Astruc. Felix definitely works on cliché psychology. Ofc it's hilarious cause they write him this way but oh well, their mistake and the fans' blind spot.

Apparently Felix was also too dark and too mean for Marinette but guess that doesn't apply to Kagami 🙃

Can someone explain to me Marinette's grand idea of letting Felix keep the peacock?

• Stole all the miraculous, handing them over to the villain. If Gabriel was out for world domination he would've played part in helping him reach his goal and thus basically ending the world

• Terrorized whole Paris, making everyone disappear, something not even the main villain of the show did all 5 seasons long. And he did that in 1 day. He was literally singing a happy song and dancing while spreading fear. If that's not something a maniac villain does

• Kidnapped Kagami and thought it was okay. Only likes her cause she's senti - he's basically racist (granted Marinette probably doesn't know this but we do and every other point should be enough for her not to trust him)

• Bullied Adrien since they were kids, which can go as far as putting camembert under his pillow and sending a hate message to his friends just cause he can, thus invading his privacy on his phone. Pretends to be him just cause he can too ofc for selfish reasons

• If all these weren't bad enough, he ASSAULTED Ladybug just to mess with Adrien. Sure he cares for his cousin : D

• Chances are if he betrayed her once, he might betray her again. Will put nothing past him

• Literally lives in London. Should he fly to Paris every time something's happening?

So why not give back the peacock to Nathalie? She's healthy again, on the good side, she's responsible and trustworthy, she read the Grimoire so knows more about any of the miraculous than anyone on the team, she's an ADULT and granted they seriously need one, she already has experience with the peacock and Duusuu likes her, has combat skills and they're more than impressive (slay queen) and she's smart af. Plus SHE'S RIGHT THERE!!!

Miraculous and the parents dilemma: How is it MLB only seems to present bad parents and barely any healthy families? Like, most of the teen characters have bad parents, on top most are single too so they can't even have at least one good parent they can find comfort in

Adrien: Gabriel isn't exactly "father of the year" and let's not act like Emilie was that holy mother everyone makes her out to be. She never let him exit the mansion either (as an example). Anyway she died so. The grandparents? F*ck you Emil, Millie, don't act like you're better, Johnny and Gabrielle - so far chill but did they really not care how their only son just died recently? Thank you Nathalie for showing how a parent should be

Sublime: Severin is actually chill and supportive (good parent points to him) while Caroline pushes her daughter way too hard. Plus they are divorced and cursed their daughter with this whatever name (how did they get it approved lol?)

Sabrina: Roger is kinda overprotective and he basically lets her daughter get bullied by the one person who she thinks is her friend. Also single parent

Chloe/Zoé: Audrey is basically a narcissist, can't even remember her daughters names, Andre doesn't really give a sh*t about Chloe, his parenting style is "gifts and money are enough", Zoé is basically an affair child. We don't even know her father's name, only that it's a certain Mr. Lee (well, that helps lol)

Luka/Juleka: Anarka and Jagged - not a good mix. Jagged is basically an absent father and too much into the "rock n roll lifestyle", and Anarka doesn't seem to care too much about what's happening in her children's lives

Marinette: Sabine and Tom are completely oblivious to the stalking activities of their daughter or like almost any activity for that matter. Don't even get me started on Tom's parents (Roland, you're in the "f*ck you" club too)

Max: We didn't see too much of his relationship with his mother but she seems chill (only cause she basically has like no screentime). Appears to be single parent too

Alix: Alim, where do I start - huge favoritism problem. Never acknowledges his son, one could say he hates him, while plays favourites with Alix. Also single as it appears

Felix: Colt was definitely a true sunshine. Amelie basically cheers on her son's terrorist acts and manipulates him into stealing the twin rings back from Gabriel (not like him and Adrien are family or anything plus those contain his amoks you beanhead) so yeah, great parenting right there : D

Alya: You know what? Her parents seem to understand parenting duties

Kagami: Tomoe, prime example of abusive and demanding mother. She's so bad, her daughter almost commited s*cide. Single or killed her husband, I'm taking both options into consideration

Mylene: Her mother left her when she was young. Fred actually is a good parent and cares for his daughter but barely appears anyway

So....are the writers allergic to healthy parenting? What do they gain with giving almost all the teens horrible family lives?

At this point I'm writing this out of the memory I have cause I refuse to rewatch MLB cause honestly I don't need that kind of suffering again, I suffered enough

(But do I have to post about it even though it's released out of order? Well,it depends based on my emotional state of feelings. So,yeah. If you don't want to get exposed with all of the spoilers,please,control yourself. Ok? Cool.)

In my last post about Felix,I literally angry on his action in Strike Back.

But now,when I think again(& because Emotion is already aired),I might a little bit too harsh on Felix.

So.....,here's my opinion on Felix(Flairmidable/Argos)so far.

I still hate him. I still hate him for his action in Felix & Strike Back but in Emotion,my hate on him has become more tolerable.......a bit.

Why do I saying that?

Because his motives/intentions was good. If you watch the episode,yk what I'm talking about. But,there is a caveat,his action on how to do it was more on the villainous side. Ik that he just want to freed himself as well as Adrien & Kagami(if you're totally believing with the sentimonster theory) but by wiping out the people with just a snap of fingers and openly saying to Ladybug that he want the Miraculous just to make his wish....is not a good move for a good intention.(Plus,he's very sus)

But I'll give credit where it's due because he still love his mom and he acknowledged that not all of them are monsters(as what Amelie said earlier). Plus,his motives are more of heroic side. So,I will give it the benefit of the doubt even though it's still unclear which side he should be place. Also,he acknowledged that he shouldn't be carried away with his emotion just to make his wish a reality(which led to the saddest scene in the episode).

So,overall,I will say that,in my opinion,he might be a bad guy(or 'boy' in this context) but a bad guy that you can sympathize for and can related to even though the actions/moves were wrong in any context whatsoever. So,that's why I'm legit to looking forward for his next moves.

(On the unrelated side,Argos is fucking slay. I'm not joking,I love Argos's outfit and he literally slay it. He's a legit finesse character,swear to God.)

Did anyone else notice that Felix is the only holder with his back to the viewer?

I don't want to distrust him, I want to believe he's made a full heel face turn and is a good guy now, but this is just a little suspicious to me! I hope it's just him being edgy and not foreshadowing!!
