Painfully Dreaming- Part Two
Bill pushed Ford to the ground and wrapped chains around his arms, legs, torso and neck, cutting off his precious airway. Bill floated down and laid down next to Ford. Ford couldn’t breathe. “You tried to kill me, so I'm going to kill you… It's only fair..”. He started to run out of air. What seemed like his last words were “Help me Stanley…”
Suddenly, Ford woke up.
“Stan…” Ford mumbled in his raspy voice. Stan rushed into the room and sat by Ford’s side. “You ok, Sixer?” Stan asked as he walked into the room. Ford pulled down his turtleneck and suddenly Stan saw it. Bruises. Bruises on Ford’s neck. From. The. Chains.
“Did he-”
“Y-yeah…”
Stan looked furious. He looked like he wanted to scream. “Why that little-”
“Stan, calm down. I-I don’t know how he’s alive, but we need to not worry a-about it. T-thinking about him is going to attract him m-more.”. Stan sighed. “Fine. But I don’t want him going near you, even in dreams.” “They're more like nightmares.” Ford chuckled, then sighed. He still had that same pain in his side, only it felt worse. “Is it starting to feel better Sixer?” Stan asked.
“N-not really… it almost hurts more actually…”
Stan sighed. He got up, and left the room. Ford laid in bed, wondering how Bill was still alive. He knew he wasn’t supposed to think about him, but he couldn’t help it. He turned towards the wall and sighed once again. Stan came back a couple minutes later with a bag of ice in one hand, and some food in the other. Stan set the food on the nightstand next to Ford, while he gave him the ice pack. Ford laid on his back, and he saw him. He was right there. Bill.
“AH!” Ford screamed. Stan looked around the room but saw nothing. Ford peeked his head out and saw he was gone. “What happened, Sixer? Didja see something?” Stan asked, with a worried look on his face.
“I-I could've sworn I saw h-him again...”
“...”
Ford tried to sit up, but couldn’t. Stan grabbed both of Ford’s hands and helped him get up. “Stan… I-I don’t know how he’s alive…”. “That’s ok Sixer. Even if you are the smartest person I know, you don’t have to have the answer to everything.” Ford smiled back at Stan. “Here, I got you some jelly beans. I thought you would like them.”
“T-Thanks, Stan…”
