It was only about 30 seconds when he started to get close again. “Close close sir please!” You hug him tightly as you continue to pound him.

Chapter 9: We’ve won for now

Summary: It’s time to finally save the world! Though you stumbled across some unwanted memories and apparently an injection made your second conscious louder? Though Chris is there and he finally helps you in a way both of you want.

You begin to start fighting Wesker as Sheva comes in helping you. You begin to start dodging Weskers attacks as Chris readies up a rocket launcher, you quickly dodge as Wesker grabs it. 

Chris shoots the rocket as it blows up on Wesker. He cowers to the ground as you guys rush over with the injection. To slow. He regains his power as you guys fall back again. Sheva finds another rocket as she hands it to Chris. She hands you one to as you thank her. 

Wesker begins to attack you as you all begin running again. You begin to block Wesker again as Chris launches the missile into Wesker as he grabs it. You pull your gun out blowing it up as you go behind him holding him back as Chris runs up to you both. 

“Do it Chris!” You shout as he stabs Wesker with the injection. You step out the way as he stumbles backwards falling to the ground as he pulls it out. You guys watch him begin to struggle and groan in pain.

“This isn’t over.” He begins to run away as you begin to follow him. You guys make it to a plane as you and Chris hop on. Sheva begins to run as fast as she can. You reach your arm out as she jumps grabbing onto it. 

“I’ve gotcha.” She pants as you smile at Chris. “Almost over.” You sigh.

 “It seems I may have underestimated you both.” You roll your eyes as you guys stop in your tracks. “Uroborus will be released into the atmosphere causing complete global saturation.”

You huff. He rushes you angrily as he begins to purely focus on you. He knocks you to the ground as Sheva and Chris try to help you. With a final punch he knocks you out. Chris and Sheva get even angrier as Chris opens the plane hatch. Chris grabs you tightly holding onto you as Wesker manages to grab Sheva.

Your eyes shoot open as she looks at Chris and you as she gives another smile. She lets go. Your eyes go wide. “No!!!” Chris shouts. 

Why was this familiar. “Inject it, trust us.” You heard voices whisper. What the hell…? You than remember the milky white injection. 

“What’s the harm of injecting it? Only destruction inside your body and outside. Oh well.” 

They do say your minds a scary place. 

“Fuck it.” You grab the injection from your pocket shooting it into yourself. Hopefully the voices were right. You let go of Chris as you grab Sheva tightly. You felt a weird rush of adrenaline as your heartbeat began to get faster.

You begin to feel ill as Chris holds onto your ankle. “I’m taking the three of you with me!” Wesker shouts. “Like hell you will!” Sheva stomps his hand knocking him out the plane. 

It crashes as you groan out in pain. 

You begin to writhe on the floor as your heartbeat starts speeding at an inhuman pace, feeling adrenaline coursing through your body. You flail around as you close your eyes again going back to the hell you experienced in your younger years.

“The only reason I’m keeping you alive is you DNA.” Spencer slaps you as you cry out. “Otherwise your body, your simply nothing to anyone, ANYONE.” He looks at your strapped form. Chains around your ankles and wrists as you cry. 

“Waste of flesh.” He exclaims as the scientist straps your mouth closed. One of them begins to turn the electrocution on as one holds your head still. You begin screaming for help but to no avail, they bring it down to your he-

You hyperventilate violently as your eyes shoot open as a newfound motivation and strength powers you. You wheeze as you raise yourself up. You locate Chris as you seemingly teleport to him. You grab his waist tightly as you give him a smile. 

“Your eyes sir!” Similar to Weskers yet so different. All white, like an Angel. At least that’s what Chris saw. You smile as you help Sheva up. You guys focus on Wesker as you begin to get to higher ground. “CHRIS!” You look over to see Wesker readying his tentacles. 

Chris and Sheva begin to shoot him as you paid close attention to him seeing what the best way to attack was. A seemingly impossible shot to hit for a human, but to you It was like he was going in slow motion. They mange to shoot him enough that uroborus’s core shows. “I’ve got this.” You tighten your fists as you rush into him with incredible speed challenging light. You look at him dead in the eyes as you bring your fist back punching dead through his chest angrily.

“Holy shit!” Sheva shouts as the whirring of a helicopter is heard. You push Wesker away as the rock breaks he falls into the lava as he screams in pain.

Jill sets the latter down as Sheva grabs onto it. “Hurry up!!!!” You help Chris up as it starts to fly away. You jump up grabbing it. 

“Climb Chris come on.” You hold onto him gently as they help you up. “Y/NNN!!” You groan. “Fuck me.” Jill looks at your eyes confused. (Not the right time to be enamored by him 🙄)

He grabs the helicopter tilting you all over. 

You all scream in shock “Use those!” Jill points, Sheva nods at you and Chris as you guys get up to grab them. “Ready partner?” You nod 

“We used to be so close Al, what happened?” You knew, you knew it was umbrella. He was simply doomed from the start just as you were. Maybe in another life you guys could’ve kept the brother relationship.

You guys both launch the rockets at the same time as a huge explosion rings through everyone’s ears. 

You all fall backwards as you guys get away from the volcano quickly.  

“Did we win?” Jill asks shocked. “We’ve won, for now.” You turn looking behind you. You all smile at each other as you hug Jill and Sheva. 

You try to hug Chris but he pushes you away. “Come on Chris just do it.” Jill speaks with a sigh. “I’m sorry in advance.” He lets out a sigh and blushes as he grabs your face kissing you. “We’re they not already dating?” Sheva asks Chris pulls away with a heavy blush as you smile. 

“Bought time.” He rolls his eyes at your remark as he hugs you tightly. You returning it. Almost 3 weeks back and you saved the world and even got a prize.

Chapter 8: Kick his ass!!!

Chris Redfield x Male reader

summary: Self explanatory, you guys are there to kick weskers ass!!!!

“So that’s uroborus.” Sheva speaks “god dammit Wesker, he’s actually serious about destroying the entire planet. “He always was a determined man.” You guys make your way down stairs as you look over to see commotion on the screens. 

“Wait.” Chris walks over tilting his head. “That must be what he’s gonna use.” You spoke as you kept an eye out behind you guys just in case. “Makes more sense. Wesker!” Chris shouts as he points to Wesker on the screen. “There he is come on let’s go!” You both follow Chris as you begin running down the dark hallways. 

“Jill’s calling me hold on.” You pick up the phone as you answer. “How you holdin up pumpkin?” You ask with a laugh as she gives one back. “I’m fine don’t worry about me, there’s something I need to tell you. Listen carefully.” Chris and Sheva move next to you paying attention.

“Y/n you know his strength comes from a virus but it’s unstable.” You squint your eyes as you all continue listening. “In order to maintain a balance he must inject himself regularly with a serum.” Sheva buts in “so if we cut the supply of serum he looses his strength?” “Affirmative, but he just took a dose so it’s gonna be awhile before he needs another one.” 

“That’s not time we have.” You spoke “Listen Excella said the amount has to be precise. So if he injects too much it should act like a poison. I think she used a serum labeled: PG67A/W.” You look at Sheva as you hand Chris the phone. 

You guys begin searching through the case. “Jill, Jill!” You could hear the line breaking up. “Shit.” You hand Sheva the injection. “Chris, this is it.” He looks over as you all nod. “Let’s give it a shot.” 

“Just like he always said, he’s planning to spread this fucker worldwide.” You cock you gun turning the safety off. Of course you guys reach a room that was already going into lockdown because a fire apparently. Just your luck. (Skill issue get good)

“Come on come on!” You shout as you guys rush down the stairs. The floorboards begin to open. “We’ll never win in a fair fight, we need to fall back!” “Agreed!” You guys begin to go the other way. Not being in control, like the old days. 

You begin to sneak down the hallway giggling to yourself. “Oh, y/n!” Wesker speaks with a bright smile as he begins to chase you. You run around and around the outside of the lab as you accidentally run into Spencer. He stops dead in his tracks as he looks at you angrily. 

“I-I’m sorry sir.” You bow down as Wesker does the same. “Take him I’m tired of this.” His assistants grab you as Wesker pleads for them to stop. “Please he didn’t mean it!” Wesker begs sadly. But to no avail you get taken into a dark room.

You shake your head vigorously as you awake in a elevator. “You okay sir?” Sheva asks you nod “sometimes I go on autopilot and zone out for awhile, I’m alright though.” They both look at each other than to you. “Come on.”

You guys make it to room as you ready up your guns as Wesker makes it known he sees and hears you all. 

“You’ve really become quite the inconvenience for me.” You grin “Glad we can agree on something.” He throws his glasses to you as you dodge his first rush attack with a backflip. Chris comes in throwing a punch as Wesker moves to him.

He throws Chris roughly to the ground as Sheva tries to help out ultimately being thrown to the ground. As you ready up for a fistfight Chris tries to shoot Wesker. He dodges as he rushes behind you, before you can even respond he had you in a chokehold. 

You try to rip him off but you fail. He lets out the usual ‘im saving the world speech’ as you roll your eyes pulling yourself down as Sheva and Chris begin shooting at him. You guys get thrown over the edge as the injection falls out of Shevas pocket next to you and Chris. You guys look at each other with a nod.

You sit up as you hand the injection to Chris. “This may be our only chance.” You nod as Wesker flips down to you all. “Things are getting Interesting huh Y/n?” You scoff “did you really think you could defeat me?”

Chris speaks up for you like you used to do for him. “Either way I’m not gonna stop until I’m dead.” You smile at him. “I’ll just have to kill you quickly.” You guys scatter as Chris begins to collect more weapons. “Let’s dance Al.”

Chapter 7: Partners? 

Chris Redfield x Male reader

Summary: You all realize how close you guys are and how much you care about each other. If only on better circumstances.

You guys made your way to another lab. You take in heavy breaths of the stale air. Chris’s heavy boots get closer as he appears next to you. “American air.” You say with a laugh. Chris tilts his head with a confused smile. “Where do you live sir?” You lean against the wall. “Europe actually.”

He nods with a smile. “Mhm, always wanted to go, never got the chance though.” He explains “When we get out of here, do you wanna go on a vacation with me?” You ask with a excited smile. He perks up a bit. “We could travel Europe! Rome, Madrid, Bern, Brussels even fucking London Chris.” You explain with expressive body language.

He smiles thinking about it. “Sounds fun.” He gives a smile as you give a brighter one back. Sheva calls you guys open as she gets the lab door open. “Come on!” She shouts as you all follow close behind.

Warehouse, labs after labs was all that seemed in your path. Finally you guys open a door making your way outside. The light was rough on your eyes. “Over there!” Sheva shouts pointing to Excella and Wesker. “It’s time to put an end to this, let’s go.” You all nod following Chris down the heavy set stairs. 

“This ship is huge.” You say amazed. “Do you think there using it to spread uroborus?” Sheva asks, you think to yourself. “No, it’d give away their position to soon.” Chris says grabbing more weapons. 

You guys begin to hand each other weapons. You smile handing chris your flamethrower. “Take this partner.” You wink as Chris scoffs with a smile. You guys continue to find more crates as you stuff them in your bag. You all of a sudden feel this weird feeling in your stomach as you move out the way quickly. 

All of a sudden a bunch of zombie dogs rush to the spot you were. Guess that’s why. Chris grabs his gun shooting them with ease and precision as Sheva goes to finish the job he turns behind as more mutants come down. 

You look at Chris as he nods, he grabs the first one punching him and stunning him. Chris walks by the second one as he swings his bat into Chris. He lets out a cry of pain as you grab it’s head ripping it off. 

You wipe the crimson of your face as Chris pants. You look behind you to see the decapitated man thrashing. You shoot the uroborus coming out the mans decapitated head. 

Finally you guys make it into another room as you all see Excella. “Ah y/n dont let these freaks hurt me my dear.” She says dramatically. Chris growls at her as Sheva takes the lead. She begins to run as you shoot one of her briefcases knocking it out of her hand. Chris rushes after her as she locks the door on him. 

“She’s tough I’ll give her that much.” You nod as you look at the injections. “Mr. L/n is this?” Sheva asks and you nod. You guys finally make your way out the room breaking out of it as you begin to walk down the hall. You guys make it to another huge warehous. You guys watch as a box opens as more mutants come out. “Isn’t that a nice gift.” You roll you’re eyes.

One electrocutes Sheva as you push her out the way kicking it in its back. 

After killing a few more you guys make it to the elevator catching your breath. “So you’ve made it this far.” Wesker spoke with no emotion as usual. “To bad you won’t make it much further.” 

You guys make it out the elevator to see Excella moaning in pain. “Why when I’ve done so much for you..?” She groans out in pain. “Ah, Chris and Y/n how nice of you to join us.” You hear Weskers voice from a speaker. He gives his usual speech and you can’t help but feel somewhat bad for Excella. 

She thought that they were gonna rein together but she was simply manipulated by him like you were. “It seems you won’t make it much further.” Wesker speaks as you grit your teeth. “Step back.” You spoke putting your hand out as they move back. “Goodbye old friend.” Wesker speaks as the line goes blank.

“Albert!” She shouts as uroborus shoots out of her. “Nasty fucking way to go.” You speak as the other bodies get absorbed into her. You start to tremble a bit as you breath calming yourself “Run! Now!” You all nod and begin to run as giant tentacles try to kill you. Not an ideal 2 weeks back but here we are. 

More zombies more blood more guts, the usual. Chris and Sheva take control as you search everything. You come across Spencer’s notebook. You huff as you put it in your pocket.

You guys make it to a room as the giant mutant octopus sees you all. Chris picks a weapon you’ve never seen up as he takes a shoot. It screams in agony “That’s it hit again!” Sheva shouts as you all run to the other side. He waits till it charges as he shoots it again. “Atta boy!” You shout as you shoot the tentacles in the ground with as much brutality as you can.

It was starting to get tired you could tell. Chris had tentacles that started to envelope him. “Chris I’ve got it.” He hands you the gun as you aim carefully. With a deep breath you aim it perfectly as it lets out a final cry tumbling down as it succumbs. 

Chris gets the tentacles off of him as he looks at you with admiration. Thanks for saving me.” You look at him with a look of anger. “You saved us Chris I just delivered the final blow. Almost all this was you and Sheva I only brought the weapons and blew a couple heads off.” He rolled his eyes as you guys began to follow Sheva.

Chapter 5: Uncovered

Summary: You Sheva and Chris are looking for Wesker. Chris uncovers something interesting about you but he doesn’t mind at all. 

Excella gets into a lavish elevator as you watch it move up. It was keycard activated and you all obviously wouldn’t have one. You all see more zombies from behind as you throw your bag to the ground. Everyone grabs different weapons. You grin as you bruin searching it. 

Chris and Sheva kept shooting in a steady rhythm helping each other out. Sheva’s gun clicks as nothing comes out. “Out of ammo.” And sure enough Chris follows that. He slaps a zombie with his gun as you let out a mean laugh. 

“Move!” You grin as you hold a big gun. All of a sudden flames and flames after flames come out. “You brought a flamethrower sir?” Chris asks with a shocked look “go big or go home Chrissy.” You laugh as all the zombies burn infront of you. 

Sheva smiles as she shakes her head. The once sterile lab was now burning to a crisp. “Alright come on!” Chris yanks your bag as you throw the flamethrower back on your back. You all climb up the stairs lauching more flames at unwilling participants.

Shot after shot. You were shocked no guards were sent down yet. You guys manage to beat Excella to a certain floor. You look up seeing her waving to you through the elevator window. You grimace as you turn your attention back to Chris and then. 

“Excella saw me. She’s gonna tell Wesker get ready for tougher tyrants.” You speak attaching a machete to your hip. They nod readying up for a bigger blow. You guys continue climbing the stairs getting higher and higher.

This was like a video game the higher you all of you go the harder the tyrants were. “Isn’t that fun.” Sheva groans. You guys come across a super tyrant (ugly mf fr). Chris cracks his knuckles as him and Sheva look at each other. They begin attacking the tyrant. You Smile at them like a proud father. 

As your looking around you see a dead decaying scientist. You smile happily as you kneel down searching his pockets. “Keycard keycard come on…” you reach down into all his pockets look for a keycard. Nothing. You think to yourself.

That’s when you noticed his clasped hands were holding something. You hold it up looking at it in the bright fluorescent lighting. As soon as you stand up you se the tyrant fall to its knees. “Come on guys I’ve got a keycard.” 

She cleans it’s off as Chris looks around. He grabs a file tilting his head. What was going on you thought. “What was going?” on was Chris found an umbrella document of you. He read it intently. You were one of umbrellas lab rats like Wesker no wonder you both were friends.

He tilts his head as he looks at a photo of you as a young kid. You had a straitjacket and looked miserable. Apparently you were one of the calmer Guinea pigs. He sighs grabbing a lighter. Life threatening information, could get you fired in a second. Chris would never let that happen no matter how much he knew you didn’t care. 

Apparently you have compatible dna with some tyrants. He throws it to the ground stomping on the burnt ashes. He walks next to you with heavy steps. “Lab experiment huh sir?” Chris asks, you look at him with your usual blank look. “I’ve gotta burn that file.” You turn away from his gaze “already did it.” 

You smile as the elevator door begins to open. It opens to a dark hallway. You all ready up looking at each other making sure your ready. You all nod as you begin moving down the dark hallway. 

Wesker was going down.

Chapter 2: Situations

Chris Redfield x Male reader

Summary: Travelings a bitch, that’s it.

ou’ve always hated the amount of people going to travel. So much people in clusters was so overwhelming.

 You sighed angrily as you went up to one of the employees. “Uh” you pulled out your old badge “Y/n L/n, Jill Valentine said I was bought a ticket.” The lady looks on her computer nodding. “Here you are, your free to go.” You give her a smile as you place your luggage down.

The sun was setting giving the sky a pretty orange hue. You yawn as you begin to sleep in your chair Getting your well deserved nap. You awake to someone shaking your shoulder. One of the workers. “You’re gonna miss your flight sir.” They smile as you yawn walking to the plane. 

Everyone boards the plane huddled together, yelling and chatter was all around. Overstimulation to say the least. You let out a relaxed sigh. Putting your headphones on listening to music. 

You begin to doze off again as sleep takes you with a soft yet firm grasp. A few hours later you slowly open your eyes to a dark sky. You looked at your phone as you changed your time zone. “12 am…” you mutter sleepily. You should be there in a little. You looked down at all the lights. America. You scoff. 

The attendant walks down the aisle and hands you a bowl. Tomato soup, simple yet delicious. You calmly sipped it as the flight began to end. You feel the plane come to a halt as you stand up. You grab your luggage getting in line. 

You take a look around everything it was pitch black. You hear your burner ringing as you put it up to your ear. “Hey sir where are you?” You hear Jill ask. “Landing now.” You say with a loud yawn. “Keys are under the welcome mat, sending you the whereabouts.” You give a hum of approval as you hang up. You walk to the street as a car pulls up. 

“Y/n L/n right?” The man asks in the car you nod. “I’m here to take you to your house S.T.A.R.S sent me.” He shows a badge as you get in. You both drive in silence as you enjoy the quietness of the mid-west. 

You pull up to a nice house. Medium sized, very pretty and nicely decorated. He smiles at you as you wave goodbye. You grab your key going inside. Everything had already been set up. You threw your luggage on the couch immediately heading to your bedroom with your burner. 

You send Jill a text letting her know your there safe. She begins to call you as you answer. “Hey Jill.” You groan. “Hey sir, nice to see you. Just wanted to make sure your actually there and didn’t get kidnapped.” You quirk an eyebrow giving an annoyed look “mhm, hows everything going so far.” “Situations after situation.”  She rubs her head.

 “You look really tired I’ll call you tomorrow at about…. How about 3:00 pm? If you wake up earlier and are well rested just come down to the station.” You nod as you begin to doze off on call. She smiles as she waves goodbye hanging up. You plug the phone in, immediately falling asleep.

This was gonna be ‘fun’.

Chapter 1: Welcome Back

Chris Redfield X Male Reader

Summary: You get a phone call from an old friend about another old friend to an even older friend.

S.T.A.R.S never gave you the best memories. Death pain and destruction. Though it was awful, you met some of your best friends there.

“Making good out of a bad situation.” was what Chris would say. Now here you lay in your bed trying to nap at 37 years old with almost nothing on your plate. It can drive some people crazy to not have anything to do but certainly not you.

You worked for this, everything.

You always felt pure guilt for the others who didn’t make it this far but you couldn’t reminisce on that. Your therapist taught you that. As you begin to doze off you hear an odd ring. A phone?

Your cell phone doesn’t sound like that though. The phone continues ringing as you get around looking for what could be causing the sound. You bend down as you suddenly hear it get louder. You get on the floor as you look under your bed.

Your eyes go wide as you pull out one of your safes. You pull out one with “S.T.A.R.S” in white bold letters and that’s where the ring was most prominent. You think to yourself trying to remember the code. You made it when you were in you’re 20s of course you didn’t fucking remember.

You groan loudly as it continues ringing over and over when it clicks. You put the code in and it unlocks. You rummage through it pulling out your burner from S.T.A.R.S. You swipe answer as Jill Valentine, one of your best friends smiles at you.

“Really, keeping me waiting?” She asks sarcastically. You laugh “This had all my important messages and info. If anyone found this I’d be shot and so would they.” You rolled your eyes with a smile “Good to see you Captain, oh wait that’s right. Now your.. what a…general- No!-Five star-General!”

You nod at her as she smiles brightly at you. “Anyways what makes you call me 5 years later?” You ask rubbing your eyes. Her smile instantly drops to a blank stare. “It’s about Wesker.” Your smile drops to “A little birdie told us you had some ideas about his “fun” plans.” You somehow knew exactly what she meant. “Let me guess, he’s trying to take over the world huh?”

She laughs as she nods. Though your dark stare doesn’t waver not for a second. “We need you’re help taking him down.” She states seriously. “Do you now?” You ask looking at your clock trying to not make eye contact.

Jill and you always were always close you knew she could read your mood. “Mhm, so what’s your answer?” She asks. You say nothing “You’ll be payed a grand amount sir.” You play with your fingers as you quirk an eyebrow. “You know… Chris is still there. I think you’d love to see how much he’s grown and matured don’t you think.”

Fuck she knew just how to get to you. You turn your attention back to her. “What’s the quickest you can get here sir?” She asks getting a pad and pen out. “Depends on the tickets, transportation and delays. Plus I need to rent something.” She nods “can you be here in 2 days?” You think to yourself.

“I’m in Europe Jill this is gonna be a bit, but if I get an early start I could probably be there by nighttime tomorrow.” She smiles writing that down. “How about this, we can get you the tickets, transportation and housing. You just need to get there on time and prepared to get back in the groove, can you handle that?” She laughs in a annoying way. You scoff as you nod.

“Alright sir, Welcome Back.”
