Finally, After A Year, I’m Updated My Elves. Here’s The High Elves! If You Have Questions, Go Ahead

Finally, after a year, I’m updated my Elves. Here’s the High Elves! If you have questions, go ahead and ask! :)

In the image, the Elf is a mother, which is why her breasts are enlarged. She is feeding a baby. (I will draw the baby soon!)

There are two other Elf species I still need to draw: Wood Elves & Drow (Dark Elves)

LF Superman biology headcanons

Hey again, folks! I want to hear all of your Superman/Kryptonian biology headcanons! Here are some of my favs I’ve come across so far:

Detecting Heartbeats

One of my favorite headcanons comes from tOOthpasteface: Superman doesn’t just hear heartbeats—he can feel them. This is thanks to a Kryptonian equivalent of ampullae of Lorenzini, the specialized pores sharks use to detect electrical signals in their environment. These pores allow him to sense not only heartbeats but also electronics, electromagnetic fields, and changes in atmospheric conditions.

Photosynthesis

This one is practically canon but still worth celebrating. Kryptonians can absorb sunlight through their cells, converting it into energy much like plants do through photosynthesis. What I love about this idea is how deeply it ties Clark to the sun—not just as a power source but as a lifeline. Plus, there’s so much room to expand this idea: Does he store solar energy in specific organelles? Does his skin change subtly under a yellow sun compared to a red one?

I’m personally just such a big fan of alien biology and wish Clark was more outwardly alien in canon. I’d love to hear more ideas so I can add them to my collection!

Sorry For The Lack Of Posting! Here’s A WIP That I Started A While Ago- It’s My Species Of “raptor

Sorry for the lack of posting! Here’s a WIP that I started a while ago- it’s my species of “raptor folk” (name is temporary). This one is a subspecies of desert dwelling aliens. Any suggestions for species names are appreciated!

I’m not super happy with the design yet as they’re quite like earth animals, so any tips are great aswell!

Elves (Speculative Biology)

If elves were real, what do you think they’d descend from? Personally I find them being a subspecies to be a little bit boring. Please lmk!! I’m considering for my fantasy world

Strider Saddles

Response to @mesmerizms !:

Strider Saddles

In the initial art I did, I was a bit lazy with the saddle drawing, but I’ve made this to clarify some things!

Strider Saddles
Strider Saddles
Strider Saddles
Strider Saddles

Here’s a strider without a saddle, a strider with only a saddle blanket, a strider with a blanket and a saddle, and a strider with reins.

There’s lots of room for different colours and patterns on the blanket, including tassels like the one in the picture! There’s now a saddle horn and reins to hold onto (although I’m not sure how feasible they are), as well as stirrups.

Keep in mind, I’m basing this off of my prior knowledge + some cursory research. I’ve never ridden a horse or any other animal 😅

A Look Into The Environment Layout Of Rahlo, Along With Nine Close Up Species Profiles Of The Native

A look into the environment layout of Rahlo, along with nine close up species profiles of the native plants!

Feel free to ask questions!

Much of Exoton's plant life is characterized by highly specialized root structures, predominantly growing in a vertical, cone-like shape. Most species are derivatives of a key ancestor, the Giant's Needle, sharing a dense, layered root system with a distinctive spiraling growth pattern. This structure provides exceptional stability and resilience, making root trees some of the planet's densest organic formations. Their durability makes them extremely difficult to fracture, even under significant force.

Adult SWAN
SWAN and its cygnets

SWAN 🦢 ✈️  (Strategic Wyvern Aerial Navigator)

"The “SWANS” are biomechanical lifeforms that after years of mimicry adapted to resemble combat jets. Their wolfram-like skin not only is resistant to the toxic and parasitic dangers of the ‘false ocean’ but is nigh impossible to penetrate. While not a real bird they present many similar features and behavior. It's not all too rare to spot them flying in flocks and engaging in courtship

Swans are known to jam signals and strike airborne carriers since they’re an extremely territorial and violent species. First it will race against the enemy (it should be noted their structure allows them to reach enough speed to break the sound barrier) as a sign that they dominate the air space before they plunge the foe into the ground. Competitiveness amongst the species in a similar fashion has been observed to uncertain ends. In spite of all the gathered studies their intelligence and physical feats are still under research but paired with their enormous size and aggressivity is more than a difficult task.

They are rapacious hunters from the skies and encounters are advised against. There’s no current methods to defend against the Swans and in consequence it has obstructed facilities, aviation and transportation."

Very interesting. I love learning about the separate Birg cultures view on different things. And this one looks so fashionable.

Are there albino birgies?

Are There Albino Birgies?

A complete lack of pigmentation does sometimes occur in Birgs, yes!

Sentiments on complete albinism vary by culture; in kakroum clans, a pure white Birg is thought to occur when a cold draft allows a winter spirit to infect a larva. With a snow-ghost in their blood, they attract other spirits and may be agents of misfortune. Southern clans view them in a more positive light, embracing them as born interpreters of weather omens carried on the wind.

Heartland Twowi find them somewhat less uncanny, as large white patches are already a common phenotype in the region. Folk wisdom based on a centuries old practice of fate reading in spots would suggest that they are blank slates, their futures uncertain because the gods didn’t bother to mark them at all.

First Post Ever. WooHoo!!! This Is A Work In Progress For One Of My Characters I Have Been Using In A

First post ever. WooHoo!!! This is a work in progress for one of my characters I have been using in a worldbuilding project and show concept. Her name is Houstan. More on her will likely be expanded upon later, as well as the world building project itself.

Thanks for dropping by though.
