I seriously need endos to fuck the hell off, what i go through daily isn't fun quirky little game you can decide to play, it is a fucking trauma response and i actually have to waste tons of my energy not to cause any more unreversible damage to the other alters. Having other people in your head isn't fucking funny, they're not just "friends you can have inside jokes with". It's tiring. It's debilitating. It's not knowing what will happen when you're not in front. Is having the others getting potentially exposed to danger and being unable to do anything to protect yourself and/or the body. It's others hating you for doing exactly what you were formed to do. The shame, the guilt, the self hate you constantly have to carry around that came after years and years of terrible trauma. It can sometimes be fun but the main point is it's a fucking disorder. I can't stand you guys fucking de-medicalising it so that you can enjoy a fake ass romanticised version of it. I hope my traumas hit you all at once. I hope you split a pre self-consciousness me. I wish all the worst to y'all
Hii Iāve recently discovered that weāre a system and was wondering what your favorite thing the person you like or your friend you mentioned has done for you!! Iām kind of scared to tell our friends but your blog gives us hope
hey! welcome to the community! one of the best things one of our friends have done to accommodate us is by doing their own research themselves! i am absolutely blessed to have them, haha. they have also made sure to respect our boundaries, including not interacting with particular alters such as littles due to our own hesitance, and other forms of assistance!
if you have supportive friends, itās definitely great to tell them about it! we were apprehensive at first as well, but they ended up being one of our most supportive people. :) something i recommend is allowing them to ask questions and explaining the basics! and if theyāve already heard of systems before, especially from ācringeā posters, make sure to re-educate them and point them to more informational places or sites to correct any misinformation.
of course, they wonāt understand, at least at first, but the important thing is they are willing to learn and try and understand, even if they cannot at first.
figuring out that the trauma holders werenāt lying to you when you discover physical evidence of the trauma occurringā¦ā¦ā¦ like bitch i thought you were saying that shit for shits and giggles?
as a system, we agree on nothing, except for one thing. *yelling, in any form that can not be obviously seen as playful (and even caution on that)* is never okay if not behind closed and locked doors, and even then, we prefer not to yell in any capacity as it only harms others- especially when internal arguing occurs. weāve seen what discourse between people, especially those you love, does to a person from a first-hand perspective.

ill answer this one for our collective ...... our stress, exhaustion, and pain has decreased drastically due to our system. we're all here for each other, both on our good, and our bad days. we're here to listen to each other when no one outside will, and we are here to spread positivity and love throughout our system and take the brunt of the blow for each other so we can keep on going. we do playfully banter a TON, but in all seriousness, we genuinely all keep each other alive.

We'll go first. If it wasn't for our system and the ability to relieve each other from fronting there's no fucking way we'd be half as functional as we currently are with the excruciating level of pain we're in. So god damn thankful I don't have to do this bullshit alone.

my fandom is actually composed of quite a few plural collectives- and many of the fandoms we're in (besides a select few) have creators who are outwardly plural friendly and have supports for plural collectives (eg. pluralkit). so, id say in my experience personally in the few inbetweens ive interacted with my own fandom, its mostly been fine, besides the few outliers here and there, along with some strange ships id rather not think about again... - sun ā

We've come out to roughly three parties about our plurality in which we were in a covert space. 1. Our immediate family. They didn't take it too well- Well, they kind of did. It's just that they didn't really understand and made several hurtful remarks and eventually straight-out claimed that we were faking. So, I think either way it probably would've turned out like this, due to the nature of my family, but to perhaps recommend more research on plurality (EVEN MORE. We still recommended them but it was less direct), might've changed that outcome. 2. One of our closer online friends-- They brushed us off. I have to admit, the one who came out about it was extremely rushed about it, and it was definitely a mistake on our part. We eventually grew apart. I believe if we had more experience in that department could explain more thoroughly, it probably could've turned out different. 3. One of our real life friends- This one was recent, as you saw us yapping about it. It went very well. We took a moment aside to explain our situation, and they asked questions and we answered them. They also said they'd do some research on their own time? (What did I do to deserve you........) Overall, for those who wish to come out to others, it's very important to be completely open to questions, suggest research in their time if they wish to learn more, explain clearly and directly about what it is (especially since a lot of people may be completely unaware of its nature other than the typical stereotypes), so making sure to knock those out of the park are very important. - blurry
