thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it 🖤 I looked it up and according to the CO wiki, Simon was born on June 21st which is right on the edge between Gemini and Cancer, and looking at the traits, he seemed more Cancer to me :)) but you're free to pick your own headcanons, Merlin knows the Gemini constellation was more visually interesting, but sacrifices must be made lol

look, say what you will, but aesthetically, i just think baz is a slytherin/ravenclaw and simon is a hufflepuff/gryffindor. i can't accept their both being hufflepuffs. have you never read drarry? do you understand the literary value of having two characters from opposing houses falling in love? the tension! the intrigue! their always being 5 seconds away from starting a fight and 2 seconds away from finishing it with a "make me" followed by a punch or a kiss.

i’ve always loved the sun/moon aspect of simon and baz’s relationship. they were complete opposites yet so similar. “because we match.” i’ve had this drawing lingering at the forefront of my mind for quite a while and i knew i had to illustrate it. the biggest problem for me is being afraid of not having the drawing live up to the expectations i’ve had of it in my mind, but i’m quite (read as ‘very’) satisfied with how this turned out. watch me make this my phone wallpaper.
baz is looking a little grey, and simon’s hair is a bit browner than i intended, but nonetheless, this is completed. done. this is it, chief.

well, in other news, i have less self-control than i originally thought. enjoy. (the simon one kinda looked like draco until i made his nose less pointy and made his hair curly)
i remember i was once reading this nicoxwill fic on wattpad in 2015ish and the last chapter wasn’t coming out. fast forward two years and lo and behold the last chapter emerges. that was a good day. moral of the story is, patience young grasshopper
To this day i still get Wattpad notifications for a Percy/Nico fic i wrote back when i was 12 that now has amassed 92k views. All I remember was that in the span of the first 5 chapters, Nico wakes up making out with his pillow, Nico calls Jason ‘daddy Jason’, Annabeth breaks up with Percy because she’s apparently been in love with Reyna the whole time (which makes ZERO sense), and Nico gets a quest assigned to him in his dreams by Aphrodite telling him to go to Hawaii with Percy for whatever reason. I would delete it, but it’s to the day the most popular thing I’ve ever posted.

did anyone ask for color variations? no. did that stop me? no. the first one is based on carry on’s color scheme, the third one is based on the paperback cover. and the second one? that’s pure self-indulgence because i’m convinced baz would look killer in dark, red tones, plus it has a gothic vampy vibe because i’m convinced baz is a repressed goth kid.

this took way too fucking long, but i’m determined to get better at digital art since i’m disproportionately better at traditional art, namely watercolor. regardless, please enjoy this portrait of my favorite disaster gay vampire wizard boy. i don’t know exactly how long this took, but a rough estimate would be t o o f u c k i n g l o n g. i shall now go back to eagerly awaiting to hold wayward son in my cold, clammy hands, thank you, friends. :)

Carry On Alternative Ending:
It's the Summer before Eighth year again. Baz isn't kidnapped by numptites. The visitings never happen. The political climate is deteriorating as is Simon's and Baz's relationship. Simon and Agatha are still together.
Needless to say, nothing in Carry On happens.
The year goes on as the ones before it, and before they know it, Simon and Baz are having their big fight. Simon has Baz on the ground, and he's holding his swordtip over Baz's heart. Simon can't read his face, though there's a tear slipping down Baz's face. A few feet away, on either sides of Simon and Baz are Penny, Agatha, Dev, and Niall.
"Do it," Baz says.
Simon grimaces, his brow furrowed. He looks troubled. Baz can't understand why. "I never wanted it to come to this."
Simon brings his sword down through Baz's chest.
"I love you," Baz says at the same time that Simon says "I'm sorry."
Simon drops his sword, and collapses onto the ground, just as the sun falls beneath the horizon. Before he knows what's happening, the ground is spinning out from below him and he feels as if he's being taken somewhere.
He opens his eyes and comes face to face with a 15 year old Baz.
They've been granted a second chance.
Nathalie Sancœur's name:
On one hand, Nathalie Sancœur's last name translates to "heartless". On the other hand, it's one letter away from "rancœur" which translates to "resentment", and it makes me wonder... Will she grow to resent Hawkmoth/Gabriel? Will she become a greater villain, or will she turn towards the good side. This is a bit of a stretch, but I really can't help but wonder, especially since we still have so many episodes and seasons to go. Perhaps she'll truly change into a true mother figure for Adrien. What if she discovers his secret? Will she stay silent, or tell Gabriel? Will she get a redemption arc? We've seen scenes with her where she bends the rules for Adrien, but we've also seen her fall deeper in love with Gabriel. Which will she choose?
