another brilliant addition to this for those who headcanon that regulus’ animagus was a black cat:

After having Minnie and Poppy for a few years Sirius and Remus talk about getting another cat. James overhears them talking about it one day and immediately runs and finds a tiny black kitten, gets a name tag made at a pet store, buys it a star themed collar, and then breaks into their flat and just leaves the cat.

Sirius and Remus come home at the end of the day and there is just a black kitten sitting in the middle of their hallway. They think it’s Reggie and Sirius starts talking to it like it is him and asks him what he wants, and to change back, and ‘why are you still a cat it’s been hours’ and ‘when did you get a collar??’

Remus figures it out about 30 minutes in but it takes Sirius literal hours before he is calling James on the mirror and James just laughs so hard. (Harry is in the background yelling ‘kitty!’ at the top of his lungs)

Sirius and Remus had two cats, a small mostly white kitten named Poppy and a grey tabby named Minnie. Sirius was the one to bring them home one day and to Remus’ surprise they were the first cats that ever let him pet them, they actually seemed happy to be around him, and Remus soon realized that while he thought he was a dog person, seeing that he was in love with a man who could turn into one, but soon realized that he was a cat person when he sat down to read with a cup of tea and Minnie laid right next to him and purred as he pet her.

Sirius loves calling them different nicknames, like instead of Poppy he calls her ‘Madam’ and buys her little bows and even went as far to dress her up as a nurse for halloween one year (Minnie was obviously forced into a witches hat). He calls Minnie ‘Professor’ whenever he sees her with Remus as he is reading and Remus secretly thinks it’s adorable.

Sirius insists on constantly taking pictures of the cats and Remus, as he thinks Remus with a cat on his lap is one of the cutest sights in the world, and one year made them have a photo shoot to make kitten Christmas cards. He sent one to McGonagall and Madam Pomfrey and both of them have it hanging in their offices at Hogwarts.

Neither of the cats like Peter, but Harry and Lily love them, so much so that one of Harry’s first words was ‘kitty’.

James thinks it hilarious that Sirius named them after McGonagall and Pomfrey. When he found out he laughed for at least an hour about it.

They can’t have kids, and while helping raise Harry is amazing, getting to come home to two cute cats that they get to call their own makes them feel like a big happy family.

im on season 11 of spn and i love how sam and dean are basically friends with crowely the literal king of hell and have yet to ask about how their dad is doing/if he is still in hell/is he a demon??? they have had him at their beck and call for how long and haven’t even brought him up

sometimes i convince myself that i could survive the apocalypse or a long term lockdown or something by hiding in my tiny single dorm room without having to leave but then there are days like today where i tried to hid in my room and do nothing but quickly found myself wandering aimlessly around campus with no plan to go anywhere specific or do anything in particular just bc i could not stand another moment of being trapped in that room. i feel like this is a perfect analogy for what it feels like when i get stuck in my head and start to spiral with negative thoughts. i tell myself i can hid from them or stay stuck in my little bubble of a brain, until i can’t and i have to do something to get out of it or ill go crazy. maybe this makes sense, maybe it doesn’t, maybe im just feeling poetic today but like I couldn’t stay trapped in my room, i couldn’t keep this thought trapped in my head.

y’all know the art style that’s very smudgy? like it’s oil pants most of the time and it’s general shapes and colors but usually the people in them are faceless/lack details. that’s what my gender is. just faceless smudges of the human body, especially when you can’t tell if they are specifically female or male. yea i am just an oil painting.

it makes me happy to know that brosonas is a universal cit experience. as the cit director my campers the past two summers would wear hats with their tucked under them and called themselves the bros. for our closing campfire skit they sang baby by justin bieber as bros and even picked alternative names for their brosonas that mirrored their camp names!

they have this! it’s called girl scout camp! all you have to do is join a staff and i assure you at least 80% of the staff members are adult lesbians! hope this helps!!!
