how the teams would react to finding out about their adorable manager’s traumatic past: karasuno, fukurodani, shiratorizawa, nekoma, inarizaki, aoba johsai 

tw: mentions physical/verbal abuse and sexual harassment 

karasuno: 

- they’ll all be gathered in a circle when you tell them about your past. their eyes are wide open, hanging on to every word you say. as soon as you mention physical/verbal abuse and sexual harassment, their eyes will grow even wider.

- tsukki will have a raised eyebrow, yams will nervously bite his lip, hinata is too invested in you’re saying, noya has his arms crossed, tanaka is ready to fight whoever’s name comes out of your mouth, sugawara is shocked but isn’t showing it, daichi’s in his protective mode, ennoshita is attentively listening to you, kageyama is looking around at everyone else’s facial expressions like ? 

- “y-y/n” noya says. he’s close to tears. “i’m sorry you had to go through all that.” his facial expression changes from sorrowful to a determined face. “but no worries, tanaka and i will protect you until death. ain’t that right?” 

- tanaka immediately nods, flexing his bicep. noya huffs as tanaka crosses his arms, looking around for potential “predators.”

- sugawara will go up to you and gently pat you on the back. “y/n, you know, you can always come talk to us whenever you want. or if you just want someone to hang out with, come to me. i’ll always be free for you” 

fukurodani: 

- “...y/n, i never knew you went through all that.” bokuto says, carefully studying your face. “but i’m proud of you. you got through everything. wow...i can’t even imagine. i don’t want to imagine. i can’t even imagine how rough it must’ve been. i can’t even imagine how tough it must’ve-” 

“bokuto-san, i think y/n gets your point,” akaashi says, gently pushing bokuto away from you. after getting bokuto out the way,  akaashi strolls back to you with his hands behind his back. “y/n...sorry if i’m bothering you. i just wanted to say...i’m sorry for everything you’ve been through. you don’t deserve it; no one does. and uh...want to join us for lunch? konoha’s paying” 

- konoha’s head automatically looks up at the sound of his name. “no i’m not-” 

- “yes you are. we’re all treating y/n today. and tomorrow. this whole week. probably next week” 

- “so basically forever” 

- akaashi nods. “right. y/n deserves it.” 

shiratorizawa: 

- tendou will immediately pull you into a tight hug. “it’s okay, y/n. you’re okay now. you’re safe with us. it’ll never happen again. you were so, so strong.” 

- ushijima will give you a sympathetic nod and look after you whenever he can. he feels hollow inside after learning about your rough past. 

- goshiki will ask if you mind if he were to ask a few questions. he really wants to learn more about you and what you went through. if you don’t feel comfortable, he’ll respectfully back off! he knows how unbottling emotions can help sometimes, so he wants to do that for you 

nekoma: 

- kuroo will be shocked. a heavy feeling will develop in his stomach. he honestly doesn’t know what to do. as much as he wants to comfort you...he doesn’t know the right words to say. will a pat on the head help? 

- “thank you for trusting us with that information, y/n. you’re so strong for sharing it with us,” yaku says as he makes sure that every team member is paying attention 

- “y/n, if you want, you can talk to me,” kenma softly says. his eyes are covered by his hair. the rest of nekoma’s eyes are wide. kenma offering to talk to someone??

- lev will pull you into a tight, tight hug and try to tell you a light-hearted joke in hopes of cheering you up. you got through everything, you deserve to be happy. 

inarizaki: 

- atsumu will get surprisingly emotional. like he’ll be sniffing tears away. especially since he made fun of you a lot in the past....you had to go through all that? alone? ... atsumu’s heart strings have been tugged

- osamu and suna won’t react too much. they won’t openly express and show concern but their minds are racing with questions. how badly were you hurt? are you okay now? what happened? does your past affect you today? did a specific person hurt you? if so, what’s their name and address? 

- kita was really protective and had already looked after you. but now, he’ll go above and beyond to make sure you’re at 100% don’t even worry about food. when you’re hungry, he provides. when you’re cold, his jacket will suddenly be yours

- aran will offer you a hug and pat your back. man, i just know aran gives the best hugs ever. he gives hugs that just say “everything will be okay, i’ve got your back so don’t even worry” 

aoba johsai: 

- iwaizumi will just stand there in shock. you went through...what? he’ll be furious at the world for letting such horrible things happen to such a precious person 

- oikawa’s teasing mode will turn down. he’ll look at you with the softest eyes and gently pat your back. he won’t say anything. there’s nothing he can say to justify what you went through. a few words won’t be able to make up for the trauma. he just wants you to know that he’s there for you 

- matsukawa will give you a gentle smile and try to make a light conversation with you unrelated to your past so you won’t have to think about the past. 

- the whole team will be treating you to ramen forever. they cherish and love you. each member has his own way of showing you that he cares. 

୨♡୧ THE MAN WHO HUNG THE MOON — sakusa kiyoomi x reader. sfw. fluff. dad!sakusa.

the sound of sleepy giggles from down the hall makes a smile tug at the corner of your lips. as you pick up the toys scattered about the living room, you picture the scene; your daughter comfy under her blanket and sakusa squeezed into the toddler bed beside her with a book of her choice in his hands. he’s probably changing his voice with each character just the way she likes, tickling her tummy every time she laughs so that the joyous sound is prolonged. little moments like these, ones that warrant you a glimpse into their daddy-daughter time never fail to make your heart swell.

the noise from the back dies down a few minutes later and the quiet click of a door closing tells you that your husband has finished putting the girl to bed. you’re almost finished cleaning up the toys left behind in the living when sakusa wraps his arms around you from behind, pressing a soft kiss to your temple. he doesn’t give you time to savor the feel of him before he’s gone, leaning down to aid you in tidying up.

you shoot him a petulant look that he can’t see as you reach down to pick up the doll by your feet. you have every intention of tossing it in the bin with the rest of your daughter’s things but before you can, you realize that you don’t recognize it. your eyebrows knit together in confusion as you meet sakusa at the toy bin. “when did you get her this?”

“a few days ago,” he replies upon seeing it. in all honesty, he had meant to put the doll away before you returned home. now that the cat is out of the bag, he might as well be entirely transparent. “and i actually got it for me.”

“like, got it for you so the two of you could play together?” you eye him curiously with your question. you’re sure that’s what he meant but, without context, the statement produces an entertaining image in your head of the man playing with toys even in the absence of your daughter.

“not really,” sakusa admits, and he can see a sparkle of interest swimming in your gaze. the real reasoning behind the purchase is nothing to be embarrassed about but he still hesitates to spit it out. he’d hoped that you would see the result before you could ask about the process.

“sakura told me she likes the way you put her hair in two braids so i bought the doll to practice.” he turns the doll in your hands so that you can see what he’s taken away from the youtube tutorials in the past few days. it’s a lot better than his first attempt but sakusa thinks he could use a few more sessions to hone the skill before surprising sakura with the style.

you survey his work on the synthetic hair. it’s not bad by any means. the braids are a little loose, but you can clearly see all of the effort he’s put in. you glance up to meet his onyx gaze and offer him a smile. “you’re cute. but why didn’t you just ask me? i would have been more than happy to teach you.”

the thought had passed sakusa’s mind when the girl had first told him that she preferred the way you did her hair but he had convinced himself that the task was something he could easily do on his own. it’s not that he feels like he’s above asking for help, though, he does feel like you’re busy enough with work of your own. the last thing he wanted to do was worry you with this—something he should be entirely capable of.

“you already have so much on your plate, i thought i could take care of this on my own.” sakusa takes the doll from your hands and places it with the rest of the toys in the wooden chest before closing it. 

it’s hard to believe that this is the same man that expressed doubts about whether or not he’d be a good dad before your daughter arrived. every day since then, he’s proven that his anxieties about being a parent were misplaced. sakura looks at him with stars in her eyes, like he’s the very person that hung the moon—a lot like you’re looking at him now.

you interlace your fingers with his slim ones, giving his hands a comforting squeeze as you boost yourself up on the tips of your toes to press your lips against his in a soft kiss. his breath is minty, likely from brushing his teeth with sakura not too long ago. you pull away with a smile, bumping the tip of your nose against his before returning to your normal height. “she’s going to love when you do her hair.”

How the Karasuno 3rd years would react/celebrate your birthday! 

- They all definitely knew beforehand... Just kidding, only Suga and Daichi knew besides Coach! Those two like to know what’s important to their teammates!  - Everyone except for Daichi and Suga are just “WHAT?!?!” and immediate panic to start party planning!  - Like it’s you!! Everyone loves you so much, how could they not plan?!  - But it’s fuckin’ chaos to plan who buys what... Stuff can get expensive! Not all of them have jobs!  - Until Coach just tells them he’ll bring stuff. Then it’s settled (They just can’t let him choose what to bring... Old man tastes are a no-go! /j)  Daichi 

Daichi is the one who tells everyone along with Sugawara, he finds it amusing how Tanaka and Nishinoya start freakin’ out (Asahi is quietly panicking). He takes control over deciding who does what, he knows his players well enough to know who can do the best at certain things!  He personally takes over finding out stuff you like subtly. Like cake flavor, color, all that stuff if he doesn’t already know. Daichi knows how to smooth talk! So does Sugawara, but Sugawara can’t lie for the life of him.  Despite being calmer, he’s so excited!! Your first birthday with them?! And he’s your captain?! WOAH!!! He’s so proud of you! Sugawara 

After Daichi tells everyone, Sugawara is quick to give Asahi a good slap on the back to get rid of any negative thoughts... This will be explained at Asahi’s part but moving on! Suga is so happy that everyone is getting together to celebrate ya! Like look at his team go! And he’s part of it, even bigger yay! He’d help Kiyoko keep a list of who does what (despite Kiyoko being completely capable of doing it herself, Nishi and Tanaka are yelling out so many ideas... How could you keep up?) He cannot wipe the happy smile off his face, he’s so happy to celebrate you in any way. Sugawara may not say it well but... He appreciates you so much. You do so much for the team! And you do so much for him too... He wants to show you that he’s thankful!  Asahi

HE DIDN’T KNOW?! Poor guy feels so bad for not knowing, he never even thought to ask!! But those thoughts go away after Suga give him a back-breaking slap on the back! Ok ok! He needs to keep track!  A bit overwhelmed by Tanaka and Nishinoya literally yelling at the top of their lungs again, but secretly matching their excitement. Afterall, the team really hyped him up on his designing skills!  Asahi could never say this to your face, but he’s so happy that you’re friends with him. You make him so happy, you help him when his anxiety is too much, and he wants to give back to you. You’re an amazing person and you deserve to have something special! Karasuno Manager Headcanons

synopsis: as a manager of a team, you really get to know your players, here’s what i headcanon an additional manager’s (realistic) relationship with each character would look like starting as a first year and working all the way through third year.

- you and kiyoko joined the karasuno volleyball club your first year. when daichi had been asking around to recruit a team manager, he had come across both kiyoko and you in the hallway, neither of which had chosen a club yet. even though the two of you were simply acquainted at this point, she turned to you, just as you turned to her. with one shared nod in agreement, you both turned back to the expectant first year, and the rest was history.

- out of all the individuals on the team, it was kiyoko who you were the closest to. you both learned the ropes of managing a team together and provided each other with support and advice to keep the team running smoothly as ever. that often meant sleepovers where the two of you would compare notes and look for new drills that might help the boys with their techniques, which led to a friendship that extended beyond the court.

- while the second and first years looked to daichi as the cornerstone of the team, at least in your mind, he’d always be the same daichi who spent countless hours practicing alone, asking to keep the keys overnight so that he could keep refining his receives. sugawara and asahi would stay late with him from time to time, but on the nights they couldn’t stay, you would, throwing up ball after ball for him,m and offering guidance when you could. you were no coach, but that hadn’t been what daichi needed from you. at the time, he simply needed someone to be there for him, be there with him.

- sugawara often joked you were his soulmate, and from the way you two complimented each other in terms of supporting the team and each other along the way, you might even believe it. suga always strived to do his best, leaving 100% of himself on the court each and everyday. in fact, he’d overwork himself during practice his first year to the point where you’d keep an extra water bottle and protein bar in your bag in case he needed it, which was more than a few times. when kageyama came to karasuno, there were a couple times sugawara reverted to that state of overworking, but it was in times like these he had you to lean on. he had you there to remind him that his efforts were not in vain, and that despite his situation on the bench, he was the very heart of karasuno’s volleyball club.

- asahi was the team’s gentle giant. from just his second year, he was already getting comments on his mature appearance. it hurt him at first, feeling as if he had to look a certain way in order to not be targeted in both matches on the court or occasionally in the hallways of karasuno high. you tried your best to cheer him up, but it wasn’t until the fiery libero first year, nishinoya, joined the team that you saw a real change in asahi. as a manager, there was only so much you could do, but noya was exactly what asahi needed to pick him up and get back on his feet. you enjoyed watching them, quite literally watching fire and ice interact.

- nishinoya was a menace to be reckoned with, and with the arrival of tanaka at the same time? there was no stopping the whirlwind of shenanigans that were to come. while they took an immediate liking to kiyoko, you’d bore through some of their “flirting” too at first. however, you suspected daichi or suga to put a stop to it after one occasion they took it a little too far. even so, those two brought spirit to the team, spirit that you had to admit the former teammates that graduated had seemed to lack. they were definitely on the wild side, but they were dependable and vital to the team dynamic. besides, every now and then it was fun to join in on their pranks and jests at the rising first years after them.

- the first years. ah, they were nothing short of a handful. hinata was a quite the energetic one, never able to sit still long enough to listen to the captain, the managers, or even coach ukai later on. he alone was sure to keep you and sugawara on your toes as you both were often tasked of keeping him from wandering off during tournaments. it never failed the ginger would leave for the restroom, only to need ‘saving’ from his upperclassmen. however, when he was paired with kageyama, it was a nightmare at first.

- kageyama took a while for you to really figure out. he was always so well…intense! as a manager, you looked for ways to draw that intensity away in order to open up to the team a bit more, but even kiyoko drew a blank on how to best help him overcome that obstacle. your solution? pair him with hinata. sure, they fought like cats and dogs, but you were sure that they would quit fighting and make friends. by the first match against aoba johsai, you were certain you’d made a mistake. months of work, and they were still fighting! still, you couldn’t help but snicker at his less than lackluster insults towards the ginger. he tried, and that was what mattered.

- now, that left tsukishima and yamaguchi. their first practice was simple, it was an easier transition for them as they hadn’t come to the team with such a dramatic entrance. tsukishima was someone you could laugh with, but what you liked about him the most was the way he was a walking contradiction. he claimed this club was a mere extracurricular, but you and kiyoko liked to watch how intense he became on the court, like he was more dedicated than he tried to appear. he grew on you like volleyball did on him, and you made sure encourage him every step of the way, which yamaguchi jumped on board with.

- yamaguchi was probably your favorite first year…if you had to pick one. he was always encouraging, always willing to learn, and on several occasions, you found him taking after you and some of his peers. he was observant, watching each serve, each pass, and each spike with keen, attentive eyes. while his position as a pinch server kept him from seeing much playing time, he gave every serve his all. off the court, you often bumped into him in the library. together, you’d study silently, each minding their own. oh and you totally didn’t notice him checking out a book about volleyball towards the beginning of the season.

- this team, this club, it had been everything to you back then. high school had been a time of new experiences, and because of the volleyball club, you’d learned how to be a leader, how to be a helping hand, a supporter, and a friend. you even learned the ins and outs of mentorship as you and kiyoko taught yachi everything you knew. she tended to take more after kiyoko, but it was a welcome change to have a new addition to the sidelines, someone to chat with and teach.

- extra: you still see your teammates around japan or on television as some of the first years went pro. you still hang out with sugawara and daichi in miyagi, and every so often, the three of you are graced with the visits from asahi and noya, who travel abroad with the wind it seems, or tanaka and kiyoko, who are now happily married. the dynamic has changed since your days at karasuno, but these people shaped you into the very person you are, and you wouldn’t have changed it for the world.

He confesses to you with a letter. 

The letter was something you weren’t really ever expecting and it took you three times to read over it to fully process what it was. What he was saying. 

For a moment you wondered why he just didn’t call you, or tell you how he felt in person, but then again a writing you a letter seemed like something he’d do. 

It was simple, not too long; about one page of neatly written words that held so much more meaning in them than any other letter you’ve read before. 

With each and every word you read your heart beat quickened until your heart was practically jumping out of your chest. 

What he’d written wasn’t completely out of the blue, the connection between you was strong and something more special than you’d felt with anyone in a long time. But still you found yourself more shocked at the confession. 

What stuck in your head the most was the very last line.

‘”I’ll wait for you, love. Whenever you’re ready, I’ll be here.”

When you can finally think clearly again you waste no time in calling him, hands trembling as you find his contact. 

“Hello?”

“I don’t want you to wait.” You words are more rushed than you’d like them to be, barely giving him time to answer before you cut him off. 

“What?” You can hear the confusion lacing his voice when he speaks again. “Wait-”

“I got your letter.” You say almost breathlessly heart still pounding in your chest.

“Oh, you did?” He’s quiet for a moment and you can practically hear him tense through the phone. “And?”

“And I think you should come over.” 

Your response is quieter than everything you’ve said before and for some reason you feel nervous, like you aren’t holding his literal confession in your hands. 

“Want me to leave right now?”

“Yes, if you can I mean.” You stop yourself taking a deep breath before continuing. “I don’t think I can wait long enough for you to get my letter saying the same thing.” 

“Okay, I’ll be over soon.” Just like that the uncertainty in his voice was replaced by an audible smile, one you couldn’t wait to see.

Yamaguchi helped you gain confidence, believe in yourself a little, he said. 

Tsukishima helped to keep your grades in check, always good to have a little competition. 

Kageyama explained to you all the rules of volleyball, so you could come to their games more often without sitting in confusion.

Hinata managed to always brighten your day with the ball of sunshine he was and whatever he was so avidly talking about.  

And you sure as hell loved these boys in your own ways just as theirs.

a/n: i wrote this on a whim, so if it's terrible im sorry and ill probably edit this later

sugawara was falling in love, for the millionth time. the moment he stepped inside your dressing room, the tsumami of emotions capsized him and left him struggling for air, reaching out for a lifeline - anything to save himself from downing in your beauty.

you looked ethereal, stunning in your elegant white gown, with your hair pinned so intricately to your head. the happy tears in your eyes as you looked up at him, reaching for his hands, had tears gathering in his eyes as well, but for a very different reason. how he longed to hold your face between his palms and kiss the tears away.

'thank you' your voice whispered, wobbling slightly. confused, suga's hands tightened around yours as he braced himself for your next words

'for everything,' you carried on. suga opens his mouth to respond but stops at the shake of your head, telling him you weren't finished speaking.

'i...' you trailed off, wondering what the best way to say things was. 'i used to be in love with you, koushi' his heart drops to his feet and he all of a sudden feels like he's going to throw up. why are you telling him this now?

'let me finish,' you giggle, misreading his face to be a look of digust. 'i used to be madly in love with you, but i knew you only saw me as a friend. i just wanted to thank you, for letting me experience what love was for the first time, for being there for me.'

sugawara's lips wobbled as you stood there, confessing your feelings to him. he's imagined this scenario a million times prior, but never like this, never under these circumstances. the possibility of him having a chance with you was always slim, but now he finds out you loved him?

he thinks he hates you in that moment, despises the mocking smile on your face as you so graciously thanked him, for what? teaching him how to love? being the stepping stone for you to get with his best friend?

his gaze flickers to your eyes, and a pang of guilt reverberates through his heart. it wasn't your fault, no one was to blame for his misfortune, except himself. all of his ill feelings dissipate. he can't hate you, he never has and he never will. suga's feelings for you were his biggest downfall, and once again, you've proven him right.

staring into your hopeful eyes he thinks about what could've been if he had confessed all those years ago. would he be the one waiting for you at the altar? would it be his arms you find comfort and shelter in?

suga shakes his thoughts away, knowing they would only further his misery and hurt, and smiles at you, a pained, self pitying smile. he gathers the remainder of his sparse breath and finally responds to you. 'there's no need to thank me, my love, and besides i'll always be here, loving you y/n, no matter what' and you, despite not knowing the true meaning behind his words, breathed a sigh of relief and pulled him into a hug, thankful to have such a wonderful friend.

for one last time, suga allows himself to relish in your warmth and scent, his love for you painfully swelling and beating in his heart. suga let's go of you, seconds later, not being able to endure any longer.

he presses a kiss against your cheek, and leaves the dressing room, his body feeling like tonnes of dead weight, finally letting his tears escape and run down his face.

Asahi was honestly very hesitant when it first came to physical affection when you both started the relationship during the first few dates to the talking stage even after six to seven months he was very nervous

Not to mention Asahi was very sensitive to compliments directed towards you. He was never use to this. Someone being generally happy to be in a romantic relationship with him

I think this was because he has this reputation of being a massive delinquent but in reality he was an introverted straight A student that aspired to be a local fashion designer and own a little local boutique for everyone no matter age size or color could enjoy but is was hard to do it because everyone assumed he was just going to fall off the latter and be a drug/mafia lord.

Asahi had a single relationship before you. This person lied and emotionally abused him along with constant cheating that he knew of. luckily the Volleyball team helped him through it. That was in his second year of high school and once he was able to go to his dream college only in his second semester of his first year he built up the courage to ask out you the (whatever your major is) student.

These trust issues and bad habits broke as soon as your eight months hit you two went out to celebrate at a board walk playing games and eating. Until is guy came up to you and started hitting on you. You were extremely uncomfortable so as soon as he came in range after getting you both desert he was furious he quickly placed the food down at the table and stormed over. Placing his large hand at the small of your back while holding this territorial glare that would even frighten off Ushijima

This caused the man to literally fall and run away. You were then bombarded with affectionate words, affirmations and lingering touches from then on.

You made him realize that you can’t be afraid of the undeniable so with you by his side he became confident and pride himself in his looks causing him to also become a model and made his fashion line well known worldwide…

There was not a single place to hide. The ballroom’s golden chandeliers and the tall, twinkling candlesticks in every corner left no shadows to lurk in.

Get some exercise, however you like it. I have a cruiser (think longboard meets skateboard, if you don't already know what it is) and I'm not very good at it, but just getting out there and riding it gives me some joy! And it's good exercise!

Do you have any deadlines to meet? Why haven't you finished that Thing yet? Stop putting it off, my guy.

Similarly, will you REALLY wash those dishes later? Probably not. Just do it now.

Drink more tea!! Seriously, it helps with everything. Bonus if you can sit and JUST drink it. Don't go on social media, don't read, don't watch TV. Just relax for 10 minutes with yourself.

See a friend! How long has it been since you last talked to your best friend? Mine lives halfway across the country, but a facetime call with her always makes me happier.

Do a comfort thing. Reread your favorite book, watch a movie or TV show you've already seen like 4 times, sing/listen to a favorite song, etc. Do something about which you know the outcome.

Make yourself a healthy meal. Keyword: healthy. Browse Pinterest for something that looks good and make it! Or make something up!

Daichi

Resting arms on each other's shoulders.

Daichi would always rest his arm on your shoulder and vise versa. "Daichi your arm is heavy." You said the first time he did it. "That's why it needs to rest." He did it whenever introducing you as well. "And this is one of our managers L/N, Y/N. Don't bother her, she's busy enough as it is." You knew he was joking but when he looked so stern it was hard to tell. Daichi loved you like a little sister and liked to tease your height in his own way.

Suga

Intertwing hands.

The two of you would intertwine your hands. When listening to game plans, sitting together on the bus, or whenever he does a good set your high fives ended in intertwined fingers. Suga loved holding your hand. When you first intertwined your fingers with his, it was to check his fingers for injuries. He accidentally miscalculated a set during practice. "Are you okay?" "Yeah, I'm fine, it was my fault." You then slipped your hand into his unexpectedly. Suga's eyes went wide and his face flushed. It soon became a habit for the both of you.

Asahi

Resting his head on top of yours/ doing his hair.

Asahi would come up behind you and rest his head on yours. You would be taking notes and suddenly feel an added pressure on your head, you instantly knew who it was. Not only that but he trusted you to put his bun up. Sometimes if he was nervous for a game he wouldn't be able to get the bun right and that's where you come in. "Y/N, can you put my hair up?" It was quite an amusing sight. You were standing on a tall bench so that you could reach with Asahi in front of you.

Tanaka

Wrapping arms around your shoulders.

It's a must. If some guys from another team were eyeing you Tanaka would wrap a protective arm around you. "What are you looking at city boy? This here is our manager!" He would get elbowed by you almost daily. He did it often before practice or games as well, that is until Kiyoko came by.

Nishinoya

Cheek kisses.

He is so cute and that is why he gets cheek kisses. When you first kissed his cheek he blushed like crazy and couldn't seem to get his words right. Everyone else on the team couldn't help but tease him. Nishinoya would start to do things during practice to get your attention. Diving into a rolling thunder and then yelling out, "Y/N, did you see that receive? Don't you think that deserves a kiss?" It became a habit for Nishinoya to lean towards you with his cheek out for a friendly kiss whenever he did something cool. Which was often because let's be honest, Nishinoya is a very cool person.

Kageyama

Looping arms with each other.

He was suprised when it happened and this one you actually did not intend to do. You were at another school for a practice game and one of the members were staring at you. The way they stared made you really uncomfortable and it made you regret not putting leggings on under your skirt. You grabbed on to the closest Kurasano member, who you thought was Tanaka, and looped your arms around theirs. The person at your side jumped just slightly but you didn't stop looking at the guy from the other team. Kageyama noticed the situation and glared at the guy. Suddenly the guy looked away from you a rushed inside of the gym. You looked over to Tanaka only to see Kageyama, giving his scary glare to the guy that just left. Since then you would loop your arm around his as a way to steady yourself. He never said anything about it so you guessed it was okay. You were right, Kageyama loved when you did this and he was able to keep his blush to a minimum so he didn't get much teasing.

Hinata

Cupping his cheeks.

You would squish his cheeks any chance you got to be honest. He was younger than you and overall just a real cutie. "Has anyone ever told you how adorable you are?" "Huh? Uh well-no-" "Y/N stop giving the first years all of your attention!" "Don't get all jealous Noya!" Sometimes you did it to get him to stop jumping up and down due to excitement. Other times it was when he was begging for another toss or another game. "Hinata, we all love your energy, but we are tired it's time to go home." He blushed every time your hands were gently placed on his cheeks.

Tuskishima

Thumb wrestling.

Tuskishima isn't big on physical affection but he did feel a little left out when all the other members seemed to have something with you. Then one day when the both of you were waiting for someone to come open the gym you asked him a question. "Want to thumb wrestle?" "What?" "Do you want to thumb wrestle?" You asked again holding out your thumb. Tuski doesn't know why he agreed but he did and that became your thing. If you were ever next to each other sometimes he would just hold his hand out expectingly. Your hands would stay together even after your little battle, not breaking away until someone called for one of you. He always won of course but he secretly enjoyed having your smaller hand in his.

Yamaguchi

Head pats.

Of course Yamaguchi gets head pats. He needs them. I think Yamaguchi would be a little uncomfortable with some of the other acts of affection. He was sitting next to you on the bench after messing up his serves on a game. You noticed his internal battle with himself and it made you worry. He froze slightly when he felt your hand on the back of his head softly rubbing and patting his soft hair. "Oh, I'm sorry, is this ok-" "It's fine!" Yamaguchi squeaked leaning into your hand. It oddly filled him with comfort in his darkest hour. Now you gave him head pats whenever he was nervous, whenever he did a good serve, or just when you felt like showing him a little affection. He never was straight forward enough to ask for them but he always welcomed them.
