Imagine reading a book, about a melancholic story centered around massively powerful individuals, all dying at a fast rate and troubled with an unsolvable dilemma. All of them dedicating their entire existences to nothing but the dilemma. Despite their power, their decaying state limits their methods of communication to little more than sending messager pigeons to one another. The book, however, isn't written from the perspective of the individuals, or a narrator. Instead, it shows the perspective of the pigeons, struggling to deliver messages they'll never comprehend, focusing on their journeys to find their path and barely telling you what their messages even mean. Sympathizing you with completely unimportant characters whose existences are barely noticed by the actual protagonists, leaving you to complete the puzzle with crumbs of pieces of an incomplete story.
That's how you get the best game of all times ngl, and I really mean No Significant Harassment to those who disagree, but if you do, your Innocence is Unparalleled, you should maybe start giving Looks to the Moon or some Seven seconds staring at the Red Suns, perhaps pick Five Pebbles from the ground.

Holy shit after watching this video and having quantum mechanics a bit simplified for me, I realize how similar it is to how the cycles and perception of them works.
Essentially, it explores all possibilities (aka all your deaths), before going through the path of least resistence- or action- or whatever rules the cycle abides by.
To an outside view, this is all meaningless, you only see the chosen path of the entity before it marches to its predetermined perma-death (see: hunter)
Yet from the entity's POV, its dreaming and imagining all the other possibilities. All the other dreams, realities, ect where it dies, likely when it sleeps (this is why sleeping "saves" your game. You're dreaming of the possibilities of the next cycle)
Obviously, your POV as a player likely isn't 100% accurate, these dreams are very likely fuzzy or forgotten
But my point is to say that yeah no this shit is quantum mechanics if you had to pray about it
I present a painted version

Bonus:
Hello Rain World community, if you get notifications from the official discord, you may have been given a bit more context for the release of the watcher.
Me, and many other console players have been hurt by the decision to release the consoles version at the furthest planed update to the game. No where was it ever previously clearly mentioned that this release was only for the PC.
Now I make this post to hopefully bring attention to this revelation, and try to do something about it.
I have left a message on the publishers of Rain World's website, detailing my feelings and distraughtness over one part of the community receiving the update while the other is left in the dust. Please take the time to put your own message in too.
Hopefully, we can do something together. Reblog to spread the word, please.
Sometimes I feel sad that in rain world, in the greater story of the iterators, they never have a happy ending. You can play every campaign as many times as you’d like, and that fact never changes. Both Pebbles and Moon end up in a terrible situation, rotting away in their own corpses all alone until they slowly die from their systems decaying. The best you can do is ascend them as Saint, but is that really a happy ending? Putting them out of their misery through mercy killing them? Not even to mention the possibility of Saint’s campaign not even being real.
What really gets me though, is that even if the events prior to the game never took place, Five Pebbles never got the golden pearl and never made the rot and Moon never collapsed due to his water usage, they would STILL be in the same place! Eventually they would still inevitably be left to decay, all alone, unable to contact anyone else, just waiting to die. Because that’s the horrible fate of every iterator. There is basically nothing they can do to prevent it from happening, all they can hope to do is slow it down, but eventually they all end up the same. Alone and miserable.
